specifically a /restart civshuttle, permadeath iron man mode scenario
I would like to quickly and (relatively) safely make my first 2 mils, so is there a good, inrp way to do so?
Escorting.
Trade on Coalition char? That will be mostly trade with your allies. Deliver goods to Mykolaiv, sell Vodka to some stations and so on.
Its much easier to make money on other ship and transfer cash to coalition one. but if you want hardcore trade go sell vodka to Penny Zoner base. good sell point there.

Little remind - be sure to have Coalition ID mounted. any nonCoalition ships in Omega 52 is considered enemy and driven off or destroyed when caught. thats ofc, unless they have valid Visa.

Also there is Coalition missions on Boa Vista you could do. they pretty hard as I know, however.

what about this?
Quote: 1.3 Every player must have one ID equipped on their ship. Actual ID items do not exist in roleplay and players must be treated based on their IFF,
As for escorting...I dunno, a shuttle might be too fragile for that. ofc not that players will attack me, but npcs...

I have no idea what you mean by that. You linked me a rule, and I was talking about RP.

What I meant was - if you fly in Omega 52 on ship, that is not affilated with the Coalition - it will be shot at by the SCRA. We protect our system viciously and destroy everything that tries to sneak inside without our permission.
Coalition indie traders can fly in O52, but Freelancers, Junkers, IMG or anyone else like that - not.
i mean i have a coalition /restart with a fl id
You need a Visa or a Coalition ID in order to enter Omega-52 without being shot by the SCRA. We don't typically let anyone but our closest allies into Omega-52 and even then it's restricted access mostly. If you want free access, you need to have a Coalition ID and therefore a Coalition IFF.

There are several trade routes you can do, one is Vodka to Bethlehem and then Neon to Boa Vista station. Coalition Trade is actually quite good in this mod, which I'm thankful for as it gives us a chance to use SCRA tagged trade ships.

He meant that Coalition IFF is enough because according to rule he mentioned, you have to treat him according his IFF, not ID. So if he is flying Freelancer IDed ship but with Coalition IFF, he should be inRP treated as member of Coalition.
Yes, but his ID and IFF must match eachother as close as possible inRP. If he uses Coalition IFF with FL ID without being inRP member of the Coalition - he powergaming.
Even if inRP he could be threated as member of Coalition - it wont work with SCRA. We have all ships on registry, and unknown trade ship that will fly around will be considered as spy. SCRA is very paranoid about security, all our ships connected to the commissariat one way or another, and trade ships is no exeption.
not so much a trade ship as a civilian shuttle - you know, that starter lf with 40 cargo space and crap armor?
mainly because I messed up and sold the coalition id for a freelancer now I don't have enough credits to buy it again QQ
