I was thinking about the problem we currently have with regards to a lack of cloaks, drives and modules due to the fact that player bases are inactive.
The only option available would be for admin to create such equipment out of thin air. Then, it could be auctioned off. One of each item could be auctioned at a specific time, recurring indefinitely until player bases are back or there is some other way for people to be able to purchase the equipment in-game. Maybe an auction could occur weekly or fortnightly. Highest bid wins, everybody invited.
Does this sound like a good idea?
