When I started playing disco nomads were resrticted to official faction players.
Can anyone be a nomad now?
Yup....just the indie Nomads can't use the cruiser or battleship (those are for the K'Hara only)
All ya have to do if use the Nomad restart.

Keep in mind though, the normal nomad ID is restricted to the Omicrons only.
Nomad trial ID may fly around anyway, but only with the nomad morph, just like in .85 / .86
Last time I went to the Shrine to get the Trial ID....it wasn't there :O
The Trial ID not being at the shrine appears to be a bug, and I regretfully do not have too many spare trial's in my stores to do anything about that, until its fixed at least.
Playing Nomads is an experience, if you enjoy it enough, perhaps you should shoot for the K'Hara.
At any rate, have fun flying around the Omicrons.

Edit: Better yet, I know there's a list of them all (restart commands) somwhere; wiki or forums. If you could point me to this it would be cool, having trouble finding it.

Nomads speak to other Nomads in english, yeah. Though to humans, through Nomad Language. (Mixture of very awkward human grammar)
