This is a recon and hit and run attack frigate often seen in wings of 3, it has 5 forward weapons, four Plaser (plasma induced laser) and one antimatter torpedo launcher.

The Plaser weaponry does about 120% against shielding and 80% against hull
The AMT is for causing massive hull damage, but can be used against shields as well (120% hull 80% shields_

The raptor is about 2/3s the size of a liberty gunship and would turn only slightly faster. Because of this, it's not suited for close in combat with small craft but for rotating attack runs on a medium to large target.

It's double thrusters and generally high acceleration would allow it reach high speeds to quickly get in, anc back out of battle to recover from damage and prepare for another run.
The downisde is that this ship has very little strafing abilty and relys on the ship itself being turned in the desired direction.

Eh.. not too fond of caps with wings. Would look more appropriate as a fighter to me.

Also, the Liberty Gunboat is pretty small as it is. 2/3rds the size of that + higher turning makes it a beast - almost like a bomber with the punch of a gunboat.

its wings are only vulnerable if you allow them to attack from that side


Its not really a capital so much, kind of like a very heavy bomber.

Looks like a over stuffed tie fighter, from the side angles:P. But not too bad.

Igiss doesnt want any ships 'taken' from other games or genres and put into the discovery mod. All new ships that get added have to be custom-made models by our own developers.

It greatly resembles a Klingon Bird of Prey, and on top of that the textures are awful, not to mention WINGS ON CAPS! HAX! Sorry, no go, mate.
