History
A place called "Home"
We looked for it for years. "We" are a group of Freelancers and Zoners.
My name is Wolf Larson, I´m the leader of our family clan and commander of our flagship City.Of.New.Orleans. Our little fleet includes trains,
transports, some cruisers and gunboats.
Me,my brothers Jeff and Henry started as IMG befor CR overtook our system and where unfriendly to us when we needed equip for ur ships.
So we left IMG, some of us became Zoner, others free miners or freelancers.
With our little fleet and their relative and in-law pilots we started the journey to find a new home. We found friendly people, who guard us out of
"their" systems, we found unfriendly people, who shoot us out.
We found our freedom in a corner of the universe, a system called Omega 50
on a station called Porto Novo. We stayed there for a couple of years.
OSI where friendly neighbours, we traded, mined in several systems,
but it was always good to come home after excursion.
Than, one day there was no return. Luckywise all ships where on the move
to several destinations, as the jumphole to Omega 50 collapsed. Porto Novo,
the place, we called "home" was gone forever.
Our fleet met in Omega 49 and we thought about, what to do.
Making Gran Canaria to our home? "We are just some ants in a anthill there",
said my son Tyrell.
I had an idea, we bought a Renzu Liner as a mobile home for family and friends - but a mobile home is not a place to stay.
Omega 49 is a nice place, but someone should tell the intruding Mollys,
that Zoners have no enemies. After they shot at our carrier
"Olympian.Hiawatha" cause his captain Nelson Buchannon,
a brother of my wife Rebecca, just would not talk with one
of their captains and his hard understanding "english",
we decided to leave - again.
So the journey to peace and freedom started again. My wife cried for three nights.
Nobody seems to want us, or lend us a helping hand.
Than a private message arrived me, it was from Horatio,
the second brother of my wife. He told us about a system called Coronado.
He is in duty in the colonial Army and waiting for his ship command.
Colonial? These, who throw us out of IMG? I could not believe it.
They are Zoner allies and discovered a new planet in Coronado
and trying to colonialise it.
In the system is a freelancer base and in the next system TA-Zoners
have their headquarters.
"Sounds like a nice place to stay", my son Orrin said,
"Yes, sounds like a new hope", said I. Horatio laughed,
"Thats exactly the name of our settlement on planet Pecos".
After the transmission, we all met on our Renzu Liner "Domus"
and decided together - lets go to Coronado to find a new home there.
Our fleet arrived the system a few weeks later and we where disapointed.
Rocks, clouds, hard to navigate.
But than, the clouds open and - beautiful.
That mighty gas giant and the moons around him, beautiful.
We explored the system and at a place behind the planet Baja
we looked in the green sun, rising over the planet
and the mighty gas giant in the background.
John Henry, Henrys son said: "If here at that place where a station,
I would call it my home". And everyone agreed.
I looked out of the window of our ship and said: "Here is no station, but its the perfect place, near by friends, we where quick in the Liberty
and Bretonia systems, and if TAZ will allow us to travel through their system, we can reach the Taus and Kusari.
So let us build a station here, and call it "Home".
So we did, a crew was hired, materials shipped and here we present:
