Just had a Bounty Hunter duo (a BH bomber and a BH battlecruiser:dry:) chase my Titan out of Omega-3. I met the two of them in the middle of the trade lanes between the jump gate to O-7 and the Freeport. When I saw the battlecruiser I did the sensible thing to do, I took off as fast as I could. I kept being CDed, but I managed to slip. Then I noticed that one ship followed close (the bomber), while the other would catch up using formation, EK, fire a CD, repeat.

At the first two times it was challenging, but the next three or so it started getting annoying. I mean, it was totally one sided. Not only these guys threw a battle cruiser against a lone Titan (I'm not flattered), but even though I could shake the ship through normal means, one minute later I had it breathing down my neck again because the bomber kept towing him. This isn't fair and this isn't fun.

My question is, is this condoned?

I was flying a bomber and was escorting a trader when we met.
GF by the way my bucks and Splitters were blown off early in that battle.

To be honest, Walker. Even though I think it's a tad overkill to throw a ship that size against a fighter, I can live with that because I can evade such a ship. My problem is with the recurring nightmare. I evade the ship just to have it catch up with me some seconds afterwards because he's traveling faster than I am, even though I'm flying at the fastest speed the game allows me to.

No, it wasn't you. You're the S/D, right? In fact, it was right after the fight with you in Omega-7. Good thing that I have "robbed" the Daumann patrols their nanobots and shieldbatteries after that fight, otherwise I'd be toast when I finally reached Cadiz. I used them all while my ship aligned to dock with the station.

Wait... BH...in Bomber? What the hell? I though BHs have only Batlecruisers! But...wait, now...In my memories... I saw one BH without battlecruiser before three months....

I was just engaged and destroyed by a BH Battlecruiser and a bomber within 5k of Gran Canaria, cruising to catch up my thrusting too after i tried to get out of range of cruiser to destroy the bomber...

They also destroyed someone for not responding to them, though what he actually did is beyond me.

Must've been the guys I saw in O-3 down by FP-1 when I was coming through on my way back to Bretonia. It was DEFINITELY not S/D. One guy was in an Albatross, with BH ID.

Did the two of them communicate with some strange language in system chat? If so, that was them.

No, that wasn't them. These two were in a Bounty Hunter Battlecruiser and a Bounty Hunter bomber.

EDIT: Anyway, this isn't supposed to be a trial on those two. That belongs to the admins. What I'm asking here is if that behavior (towing people through formation) is condoned on this server.

If you see them butchering everyone, without that much RP. you can report them for PVP whorring, but those are extreme cases

Well, I wouldn't call them "PvP whores" anymore than opportunists. Again, I don't give a darn about them bringing the flipping Death Star against my Titan, as long as the huge ship is less maneuverable and slower than my own. The problem is having a Death Star constantly catching up with you.
