Development Request Guidelines

- This subforum replaces the old Ideas and Feature Requests and Suggestion Box threads.
- Content submissions are for anything that can be made from scratch by any players in the community (such as a new ship model or infocard) and then added into the mod. A development request is a change or adaptation (including expansion, minimisation, or removal) of existing mod content.
- This area is not for bug reports. Bugs should be reported in the appropriate thread.
- If your idea would benefit from public discussion, the appropriate subfourm for that is here.
- A request may be made concerning any aspect of the mod, and is not restricted to content that is associated with the posting player's faction. Matters specific to the server, including dynamic content, are an Admin concern, and should instead be posted in Player Requests.
- Players who are not representatives of an Official Player Group may still post on behalf of an NPC Faction.
- We will not regulate who makes development request posts, but requests coming from official factions in such a capacity should be posted using official faction accounts. Faction leaders are expected to regulate use of the faction accounts.
- Any abuse of the system will result in the faction's or player's posting rights in this subforum being revoked.

These guidelines may be changed in the future, depending on feedback and the effectiveness of this new system.

Note that posts in this subforum are invisible by default, just like the Reports & Requests subforum.
