Discovery Gaming Community

Hello,

I want to set up my own server, just for me and the kids on our own LAN. So no connection to the outside world needed or wanted. To be able to give us nice ships right away I need admin rights. And I cannot get them. AFAIK FLhook should be running but IMHO it didn't start up correctly. Please have a look at these two screen shots:



What am I doing wrong?

Any URL pointing to a "Setting up your own Discovery Freelancer server for dummies" is more then welcome! I found various links but, obviouslu, not one covering my problem.

Try typing in

setadmin <playername> admin
(As a sidenote, the 'help' command also brings up a list of useful commands)

That window looks okay to me, no problems there.

I was sure I wasn't able to type anything in the FLhook screen. But after reading your answer and seeing Spazzy's "questions and answers" that I just found by pure accident, I tried again and... it works!
