This panel serves to better organize and rotate fleet units and personnel, affording the Crayter Admiralty a simplified yet concise manner to provide recognition of service for all pilots within the Crayter Military's Primary Fleet. Promotions will be immediate, and each pilot and officer will be monitored to ensure that they are abiding by the Crayter Uniformed Services Policy and contributing to the progression of the Republic's goals.
To fuel this, the Ministry of Defense has devised a 'Phoenix Points' system to ensure that each officer's actions are documented, and to afford credit where credit is due. Each minor action, from launching into battle to simply conducting a sufficient patrol quota, will be counted, contributing to each pilot and officer's counter, recorded in their dossier. Each subsequent rank will require a certain level of Phoenix Points, as well as other potential criteria to work towards. Flight time will also be evaluated, and will contribute to each pilot or officer's promotional criteria mandate.
The following actions will warrant the awarding of Phoenix Points:
- 1 Point - Participating in an operation
- 5 Points - Confirmed Kill - Kill message must specify its your kill
- 4 Points - Crayter Kill - Any kills achieved by Crayterian pilots or captains, as well as any unconfirmed kills
- 2 Points - Allied Kill - Any kills achieved by non-Crayterian allied pilots or captains
- 2 Points - Destruction of a Crayterian - Witnessing any casualties suffered by Crayter and documenting them
- 1 Point - Destruction of an Ally - Witnessing any casualties suffered by Allied Units and documenting them
- 2 Points - Cargo Interdiction - Stopping any ship hauling contraband, and forcing them to drop it
- 3 Points - Slave Liberation - Freeing slaves, and recording their arrival at any neutral or friendly station
- 2 Points - Informing HQ - Using the Military Reporting Center to provide after-action report
- 1 Point - Flight Time - Logging 60 minutes of flight time within a monthly cycle
In addition to required Points totals, the Promotion Board will also require the completion and documentation (via the Military Reporting Center) of special operations or other criteria before an individual can become a candidate for further promotional consideration.
The following special tasks are required for promotion, and may be supplemented at any time with the officer's current objectives, as long as it is documented:
- In Remembrance of Helios: Visit the location where the Battle of Tau-29 took place, go near the wreck of Carrier Helios, access a datapad remotely and enter your name and callsign. (Required for promotion to Lieutenant)
- The Unending Fight: While old Gallia is a shadow of their former selves in the form of the Enclave, Outcasts are still unshaken and united. Complete a mission against Outcasts with rated difficulty of 12 or higher with a Nyx. (Required for promotion to Lieutenant)
- Two Fronts: For over a decade, Crayter has faced threats from multiple sides at the same time. Get confirmed kills of either one Enclave and one Outcast, two Enclave or two Outcast vessels. (Required for promotion to Captain)
- Information is Key: Without pilots at the scene to forward reports, Crayter's command structure would be blind. Report 4 times to the Military Report Center. (Required for promotion to Captain)
- Bigger Guns: Crayter's capital assets are limited, and one must show their worth in order to utilize them. Board a Hydra-class gunship (or a Thanatos-class cruiser if you have access to one) and eliminate eight enemy vessels of any class. (Required for promotion to Major)
- Big Picture: Going beyond the command of a strike group requires awareness, skill and quick thinking. Organize a task force and lead a successful operation. (Required for Promotion to Commander)
- Cogs of the Warmachine: A Commander's path to become a member of Admirality requires to be aware of what keeps his assets afloat, in his or her way to becoming a Commodore, one must procure resources to assemble their own force. (Required for promotion to Commodore)
