Dear Amber, dear sweetheart,

I feel obliged to disagree with what you had said. I strongly object the notion that I have ever called Liberty Rogues dumb and little minded in general. Besides some unmentionable exceptions each Warlord I personally knew, at least during periods of sobriety and mental clarity, was a highly intelligent individual. I think you will agree with me that keeping this brothel on fire called Buffalo in one piece and not letting your throat to be cut while asleep requires extreme cunning and strong ability to predict future events.

As for the title it is formally a Professor, but I see no reason why we should be so strict. While the other adjective you used might be an accurate description, its use in an ordinary language in this context is either pretentious or vulgarly disrespectful. Both scenarios are unacceptable in a civilised conversation.

Finally, I wish to stress the fact that the bond between the Lane Hackers and the Liberty Rogues is not an alliance of opportunity. Over the years the symbiosis and complementarity of our groups has reached such levels that in fact no significant input from the leadership was necessary. It became a basis for genuine friendship. As allies and friends we do not need to haggle. In most cases it should be enough to ask. To answer your question, by helping us you will help yourself. Shooting Bretonians is not only fun, but also in this case can give us a super-weapon which will traumatize New York.

As for our gunship and its turrets I do not see any problems, however, this matter will have to wait. Over the years we have accumulated a significant portion of your technology. The problem with your equipment is that it is usually assembled with a complete disregard for technical specification. Often our technicians cannot even sensibly explain why your guns even work, when in theory they should not. Now tell me if this is not an example of a chaotic genius. Anyway, I would like to go through our old inventory reports before we start discussing our mutual technological needs. I hope this is satisfactory for you.

I finally managed to complete our inventory reports. I am not sure if you know that, but long before Lord Moka left Buffalo with his trusted accomplices, long before I was coordinating various arrangements between The Lane Hackers and the Liberty Rogues with him, and even long before he and Danny White were doing it with Professor Moriarty - we were conducting extensive technology transfers. In several subsequent arrangements negotiated with Warlord Felix Valdar we secured a handful of weapons and ships. Due to the fact that it happened many years ago all of our acquisitions require modernization and extensive repairs. We do not really ask for anything besides that.

I would be happy to provide you with the same, however, correct me if I am wrong, I believe that after some older designs like Slipstream were discontinued and after we sold blueprints of our Falchion, Bayonet and Broadsword designs to the black market - you do not possess any ships or weapons produced explicitly by us. As far as I can tell, Liberty Rogues never expressed an interest in obtaining our Hellflurries nor our gunship. Please inform me if this has changed and I am sure we will be able to satisfy your needs. Please also advise when we can complete modernization.
