Playlist, last about 13 mins total

Edit, make that 30 Big Grin

It shares spot 1 with soundtracks from POTC
Two steps from hell stuff.
I like Two Steps From Hell as well. My favorite albums would have to be Invincible and Nero. I also really enjoyed the soundtrack from Requiem for a Dream, composed by Clint Mansell.
Anything from Two steps from hell and Immediate Music...and maybe Audiomachine, if that counts. 3 of the best epic soundtrack producers Big Grin

This is pretty swell.
The movie was OK, The huge offense it generated at the time among the bible thumpers made it better, but in spite of my deep antichristiness, if I were shipwrecked on a deserted island & could specifically have only one movie soundtrack salvaged from the remains of the boat, I would wanna have Peter Gabriel's soundtrack to "The Last Temptation Of Christ"

Lord of the Rings soundtracks )))

Also what came to mind now were the soundtracks from "sucker punch"
Since the thread title says "movie soundtracks"...
From Hans Zimmer:
  • Batman-trilogy soundtracks,
  • PotC-series soundtracks,
  • Inception soundtracks,
  • Last Samurai soundtracks,
  • Crimson Tide soundtracks.
  • Angels and Demons soundtracks,
  • Sherlock Holmes and Game of Shadows soundtracks,
  • Gladiator soundtracks.
From John Williams:
  • Star Wars I-IV soundtracks,
  • Indiana Jones series soundtracks,
  • Harry Potter 1-3 movie soundtracks,
  • War of the Worlds soundtracks.
From Howard Shore:
  • LotR-trilogy soundtracks.
From Alexandre Desplat:
  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pts 1-2 soundtracks.
From Steve Jablonski:
  • Transformers series soundtracks.
From Dario Marianelli:
  • A few pieces from the V, for Vendetta soundtrack list.
From Reinhold Heil, Johnny Klimek, and Tom Tykwer:
  • Cloud Atlas soundtracks.
From Clint Mansell:
  • Requiem for a Dream.
From Bear McCreary:
  • Some of the Battlestar Galactica soundtracks (yes, I know it's not a movie, but a series).
From Ramin Djawadi:
  • Clash of Titans and Wrath of Titans soundtracks,
  • GoT soundtracks (yeah, another series).
From Daft Punk:
  • Tron: Legacy soundtracks (with some exceptions).
Maybe some more I can't remember from the top off my head...

But then people started to post about "teaser/trailer soundtracks", so will I:
  • X-Ray Dog
  • Two Steps From Hell
  • Immediate Music
  • Audiomachine
  • Groove Addicts
  • Pfeifer Broz.
And then there come some classicals, like Mozart (Requiem), Beethoven (5th, 9th), Tsaikovsky (1812 Overture), Dvořak (New World)...

Just to name a few...
Requiem for a Dream. Didn't read the thread, but it has to be mentioned.
"Das Boot" an old german movie. I listen to it sometimes when i fly around with my U-boat in disco. :3
