With the jumpgates in Bering and Hudson that lead to Rheinland deactivated, various parties are gathering around them, mainly Junkers, who wish to profit off them. Further investigation on those structures has showed a number of premium materials that are useful to us, per the Engineering Division’s opinion. Increased Liberty Navy presence in the Hudson system however, makes that jump gate inapproachable by non-combat personnel and for that reason we’ll be focusing on a single gate for now.
The jumpgate that used to lead to the Hamburg system in Bering is our target objective. Scouts have reported low activity from the Rheinland Military and the Liberty Navy in that region and a small task force can secure it, allowing our utility ships to salvage parts of the jumpgate.
Mission Procedure
HFB-Polyphemus and a number of fighter wings will deploy in the region of the inactive jumpgate in Bering to secure it. HFL Delta squad will be on standby at Pacifica base and will move in once the green light’s been given from Polyphemus’s command. Once they arrive on the spot, they will begin dismantling parts of the gate and tow them back to Vespucci with Polyphemus & fighters as escort.

Mission Briefing
Various criminal groups are wreaking havoc in the systems Cortez and Coronado, as well as using that corridor to smuggle things in and out of Liberty. Ships are usually seen with either slaves or cardamine but other illegal and harmful cargo has been confirmed. Ships belonging to hostile organizations or found to be carrying such cargo are to be destroyed with the sole exception of ships carrying human cargo, which must be rescued. Fleet Captain Rou has been assigned as the commanding officer of the Polyphemus to lead the operation Aegis and disrupt the criminal route and send a message to every scum out there. A few assets from Warhammer will be assigned to assist the Polyphemus during the operation.
CLASSIFIED INTEL
The secondary goal of this operation is to keep an eye on any and all movements of the Colonial Republic. Their previous attempt to overpower the Legion has alerted the High Command and precautions for the worst case are being taken. This information has been classified and as such, only the high command and certain individuals have knowledge of this.

The primary objective of Operation Logos will to be to win the hearts and minds of Liberty's people, bringing the common people, corporations, and other benefactors currently in support of Liberty's decrepit and crumbling Government and Navy to our side. We will do this by escorting transports of Libertonian corporations, civilians, and unaffiliated organizations such as the IMG and GMG passing through Libertonian space and the independent worlds. Below is just a short excerpt of the difference a few good words can make.

No longer will we turn a blind eye to the Rogues, Lane Hackers, Outcasts, and assorted filth that plague Liberty's lanes, and slither back into the cracks and crevices of our home when confronted. Not only will we begin actively patroling the lanes and escorting traders, but we will take the fight to them. Alcatraz shall be the primary target in this operation, as we begin our sweep of Liberty's lanes and space from the southwest in California and Pennsylvania, moving systematically across the House to excise the malignant forces growing within our land.
We must also shift our attention to the Gallic front, eliminating the aggressors whenever and wherever they may appear. The Gallic war machine is at our doorstep, and if it breaks through, nobody will be spared. While we cannot slacken in our efforts to ensure the demand of common welfare and justice for Liberty's citizens are met, we are forced to fight a battle on two fronts, against not entirely dissimilar foes.
Perhaps most importantly, we must also take the time to speak to Liberty's citizens. To tell them why we fight and how we intend to do what our predecessors could not. We must assure them that we are ones they can turn to in the darkest of hours, not a terrorist organization or rag tag band of pillagers and plunders as Liberty's media portrays us. If anyone has any doubt about what to say, or can't formulate anything beyond "Liberty's government is corrupt", then do not hesitate to speak to myself or Grand Admiral Frosthearth about just how and why Liberty's current regime must step down or be brought down.
Mission Procedure
Effective immediately, Lord Commander Locklear himself will be taking command of Taskforce Gladius, using the HFB Incursus as a mobile base throughout Liberty's core systems. During this time all Navy, Police, and LSF targets will become secondary targets. All pilots of the Gladius detachment under Locklear will focus their efforts on communicating with and lending a helping hand to the people of Liberty in any way possible, to better portray the Legion in our true light - as protectors of Liberty's security and prosperity, not as warmongering rebels.
