Early life is still speculation, sources have yet to confirm early history prior to moving to the Rheinland Federal Republic.
Enfield's current records state his place of birth at planet Cambridge in Bretonia, studying planetside at the Oxford Research University in his late teens for two years, his third year had a small firm named Fenrir Research Incorporated (A private research firm) sponsor his arrival into Rheinland for work which soon resulted in his application for citizenship.

His position at Fenrir Research Incorporated amalgamated into several projects within the company, two being the combat assistant AI program and the advanced augmentation design program. Both of which Enfield had volunteered as the live subject to receive both prototype products for testing purposes with the sacrifice of his own fully functional limbs and organic components other the course of his year within the corporation. Integration was successful, but at one significant drawback, the designs were specifically tailored towards Enfield himself due to the biological matter used to create the AI prototype. Talks were in with Kishiro to export the technology for production, but during the first visit of the Kishiro representatives to inspect the technology, the facility was struck by a massive explosion over several sections that caused the entire building to be destroyed. The cause of the explosion was seen as a failure of maintenance of several plasma conduits that powered the facility's energy intensive projects, presumed an accident.* Enfield was one of only a few survivors, and continues to live with the augments he was provided along with AI avatar "Zeal" as a means to assist him with his new additions.

In 821A.S, the call of the Military was building up. Enfield had secure funds but the means of employment couldn't stay absent for long. When recruitment posters came around it didn't provide him with a question of loyalty but of gain to his security. The military would provide training as a means to secure their own goals, Enfield himself signed up as a means to receive combat training. Military informants notify his service was uneventful for the majority during the Liberty-Rheinland war. But nearing the desertion-point, Enfield had come into frequent contact and conflict with Nomad entities, this stirred curiosity within him to develop a means to seek out these threats. His time out in the Omicrons was very elusive, it was hard for agents to track down his activities.** But it was seen that some of his time within the Omicrons was employed as a specialist within dealing Nomad materials, generally harvesting them and selling them off to third parties.

For some unknown reason, Enfields employers vanished and left him adrift. Enfield was employed at the suggestion of Volker Koch as an engineering specialist concerning the formulation of a top secret project, the HTTB and HNP program. The result was that he officially joined the ranks of the Buro and not only contributed invaluable research and advances within agency sciences. But his resourcefulness didn't stop within the engineering laboratories, he was also tasked with covert agent duties as to which he performed admirably and resulted in officer training and promotion to the rank of Kommissarait. But this came at a turn of a very terrible time in agency history and marked his first command operation at the start of the Great-Purge during 823A.S.

He was tasked with command of an agency platoon for a mission to secure a position deep behind enemy lines. Interviews with agents present this was a changing note for the at-the-time Kommissar, bonds were formed and he valued the safety of his platoon while ensuring the succession of his objective. Some do present remorse for some dire actions but evaluated their hindsight in seeing his actions as necessary against an alien threat. Although the conflict seemed to have seeded new perceptions into him and brought fourth a hatred for the Nomads seemingly caused by the loss of several lives and "Individualness" of his squad. Notions of which seemed to have spread some attitudes of "Death before slavery"; a manner of ending ones self before becoming under the influence of Nomad control.

After the campaign, Enfield perceived to come out mentally sound, exceptionally above average compared to some other records but scars still seem to be left behind on his personality behind closed doors. As much as agency healthcare covers counselling, he seems to be leaving it to himself or the AI he's become quite attached to. As such his remaining time saw him leading the Komissarait himself for the remainder of his time before his appointment as Direktor. As such its come to the conclusion that his ability to execute bloodshed in any quantity will never hesitate, regardless of its required brutal methods or efficiency; but will never glorify his actions under the guise of patriotism or romanticise said tasks.

Upon the rising health concerns of Direktor Koch, Enfield was selected for his leadership abilities and experience within the Buro, it was noted by the Oberkommando that Enfield was to ensure the new position that the Agency had found themselves in as they were suddenly found seperate from the Military by federal order. Rescinding the majority of control from the Military, and general (and very vague) objectives down to the government level permitting a higher amount of autonomy and secrecy in the hands of the agency.

*It's been identified as of Enfield's entrance into the Buro's high command that he was responsible for the incident that happened, using detonation packs to spread amalgam reactive compounds around several access ports. Once containment of the plasma conduits were breached, leaking plasma ignited and exploded immediately. It has also been revealed that Enfield had also stolen and archived a majority of the projects research files within several locations, all have been surrendered over to Buro control and archived.

**Activity has been identified as exploring the criminal underworld, most notably those within Kusari and Maltese territory as his entrance into the Buro soon revealed deep connections to even the highest positions. Enfield opened multiple contact points for the Buro concerning special relations to favour the reach of the agency beyond Rheinland borders and to secure interests of the agency and republic.
