Kon'nichiwa honourable gentlemen and gentlewomen.

Although it has already been my pleasure to meet some representatives of your network, namely the mysterious Fisherman and Hebishima san, captain of the Kani-maru, I would like to properly introduce myself and my organisation.

I am Toshiro Makabe, Oyabun of the Kogane no Kitsune Dantai, a small syndicate from Planet Kyushu.

As we are currently taking our first steps into the business of interstellar trade, I believe it is time we became acquainted with the big players in the Kusari underworld, that being yourselves. I have heard much of the Hogosha Association and am very pleased to see that a conglomerate of reasonable businesspeople has risen to the top, following the tyrannical reign of the Black Dragon Society.

Now, I do not expect you to welcome us newcomers to the scene with open arms, after all, trust must be... earned.

So in this spirit, I humbly request that you allow us to show the quality of our honour by working for your contract network... I hope our fledgeling fleet can show the determination and loyalty you would expect of a future business partner!

Ah brother, we welcome you to this hall. It is good to have word from our novice brothers and sisters from all over Kusari, even more if they hail from Kyushu of all places.

It is indeed right what you say, trust has to be earned, like many things in life. Through work and dedicated learning of the noble paths of wisdom, be they of men or of the kami.

We will be here to provide you with the tools and the guidance for you to achieve your goals, and to better yourself as you go along. Please take heed of the works we and others provide and ask to be completed.

The journey indeed turned out to be a perilous one, and a road upon which I met those who were learned in the arts of honour and conversation, but also those who turned out to be... less so.

To say the least I was not disappointed, and I hope we have in turn not disappointed you!

As a sign of our good faith towards the Hokkaido Wolves and your friends in the Hogosha Association, we would like to offer these deliveries free of charge, and only hope this can be the beginning of a fruitful relationship between the Kogane no Kitsune Dantai and the great Syndicates of Kusari.

Finally, I must say I could not have accomplished this task without the aid of my good friend and adviser, Suzumebachi san who escorted my vessel during the most perilous stages of my travels.

Makabe-san, your generous contribution, iie, your marvelous donation will provide us with plenty for the coming weeks, and we even managed to anticipate some of early training sessions for our novices. They weren't pleased with the extra work, but they will find out soon that there are worse things that the wolves have to face other than surviving on a mountain lodge for two weeks.

As you know, to get acquainted with someone you just need some well placed words and a few gestures of virtue to get their attention. There is a need of a longer commitment for them to not forget you once you leave their sight.

I have been reliving my younger days and taking one of our hayabusas out to do a little scouting work...

I think you may be interested in some of the information I have managed to obtain during my flights. In the following attachments you will find scans of three individual GMG ships and, as a bonus, scans of the Golden Chrysanthemum ship mentioned in this communication, which may be of interest to you.

The first encounter with GMG was with a pilot by the name of Charles Mob, he claimed his business was to "find out what is happening", I was very surprised to see that GMG seem to be sending transport craft out to do reconnaissance missions. Especially considering their military experience fighting Rheinland, unless of course they have forgotten some of what they learned back then!

The second encounter was with a ship named "GMG|Ryujin", unfortunately I did not catch the captain's name, but that ship also seemed to be investigating my presence in the Okinawa system, although this was not confirmed.

My third encounter with a GMG ship involved tracking the ship from the borders of Liberty all the way to Planet New Tokyo. the ship was designated "GMG|R.Samuels", I assume this is the captain's name, however the ship sped towards New Tokyo and docked before I could open a dialogue with the crew. The haste of the captain to evade me is also the reason for my lack of weapon scans of the ship in question, I did however manage to obtain details of the ship equipment and cargo... from their direction of travel, I must conclude that they were shipping boron from Liberty, but I doubt New Tokyo was their intended destination.

If it keeps like this, I might be pressed to "remember" the names of these individuals. Ahh, the problems with the large mobs.

So, this... yes, Suzumebachi it is. You follow the steps of your colleagues. Remember those who are above you, and those who are around you.

You will find that amongst them, there are some you must not let become an obstacle to you, and others that you must not disrespect, and recognize their greatness.
The winners are those who can recognize between the two. I wonder if your future will prove to be entertaining?? Huhuhu.

It is certainly distressing that not only the GMG have increasingly improved their forces in terms of size, but also their frequency is troublesome as well. The presence and actions of the Golden Chrysanthemum are also something to be wary off. Unfortunately, we couldn't conclude anything more than that they are on a heightened state of alert.

There will be developments from this. I hope to count on you and your comrades for the upcoming struggle for liberty for the Sigmas. A liberty only Kusari can provide.
