Throughout it's history, the Crimson Cross has been composed of and led by numerous families, all having pledged their varying resources and people to the cause of the Spirits. Those mentioned below represent the most significant ones.

Few in member and having little to no profile in Maltese society, the Espinosas are a vassal family to the larger Casa Di Olmos. Originally conceived by the top assassin serving the Olmos family Yuri Espinosa, the Espinosa name was eventually given as a title of honor to the most dedicated and successful slaves and servants bound to Casa Di Olmos.

Summary of Current Events
Following the inclusion and promotions of Tomas Mendes into the Crimson Cross, Arturio Mendes promptly sold the liner that they had been trapped aboard for two years prior and moved all of the rest of his family into a modest villa in the grasslands of Malta. Miguel Mendes has since left Malta with a large supply of cardamine and a Dromedary freighter to explore the galaxy, but most of the rest of the crew stayed together for love of the children and fear of being split apart should they attempt to leave. They otherwise enjoy freedmen status within Maltese culture due to their affiliation within the Cross.

Sabina Venneri, sole living member of the Venneri Family and Capitan in the Crimson Cross, Age 28.

Ulrico Venneri, Father of Sabina and her brothers. Disappeared with his wife while out with a smuggling convoy when Sabina was only 2 years old. (Deceased)

Alice Venneri, Mother of Sabina and her brothers. Zoner who fell in love with Ulrico and ran away with him to Malta. Disappeared with herhusband while out with a smuggling convoy when Sabina was only 2 years old. (Deceased)

Marcello Venneri, Sabina's older brother. Died during a skirmish with Corsairs. (Deceased)

Alviero Venneri, Sabina's twin brother. Died during a skirmish with Corsairs. (Deceased)

Summary of Current Events
Even before the disappearance of Ulrico and Alice Venneri, the Venneri family was small and unimportant. After their disappearance, Sabina and her two brothers were raised by their aunt until they were old enough to make it on their own. After that they spent most of their lives outside of maltese space either living among allies of Malta such as the rogues, GC, and hackers or plundering and smuggling. At the age of 26, Sabina's two brothers were killed during a skirmish with the Corsairs in the Sigmas. Devastated and alone, Sabina returned to Malta where she eventually joined the Crimson Cross seeking comfort in faith. She quickly rose through the ranks and is currently a Capitan in the Crimson Cross.
