So you've just obtained a Cloak Disruptor. How the hell does that thing work, you ask? Let's find out.
First, let's set some stats:

Code:
Cloak Disruptor Type-1
Usable by Fighters, Transports, Gunboats

Cooldown Time: 60 seconds
Range : 2000 meters
Ammunition: Cloak Batteries
Ammo Consumption: 100 batteries

Code:
Cloak Disruptor Type-2
Usable by Destroyers, Cruisers and Battlecruisers

Cooldown Time: 90 seconds
Range : 3000 meters
Ammunition: Cloak Batteries
Ammo Consumption: 100 batteries

Code:
Cloak Disruptor Type-3
Usable by Battleships, Carriers and Dreadnoughts

Cooldown Time: 120 seconds
Range : 4000 meters
Ammunition: Cloak Batteries
Ammo Consumption: 100 batteries

The Cloak Disruptor works as an area of effect pulse weapon, which is defined by the Range value you will find above. For example, with a Type-1 Disruptor, when you use the Disruptor it will instantly uncloak all vessels within 2000 meters indiscriminately (which means it can uncloak allies, so be careful with that!). Using it will cost you 100 Cloak Batteries. If you do not have them, the device will fail. Afterwards, you will have to wait 60 seconds (cooldown time) before you can use it again.

The command to use the disruptor is /disruptor, but as that can be very tedious to write and especially annoying in battle, your local savior has gifted you with a keybinding available in the options. You can find it in Options > Controls > MULTIPLAYER tab. It is named CLOAK DISRUPTOR ON/OFF.
Can we have clarification for the slots they're mounted on please?

Countermeasure Slot.
Cloaks and Cloak Disruptors can't be mounted at the same time as well.
Cloak disruptors automatically uncloak nearby vessels or I have to write /disruptor to uncloak em?

You have to write the command. That's why there's a keybind available in the options menu.

What about ships with multiple CM slots like Democritus and Order Cruiser? And how much cargo will disruptors take?

Doesn't change anything. You won't be able to leave the station if you have a cloak and a cloak disruptor mounted at the same time.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand cloakers just got a massssive buff, now everyone with a cloak will get away.
Will the regular CDs still be able to disrupt cloaking process during charing (before the cloaking starts)?
why would repair ships be able to use the fighter one if they don't even have a cm lol


also do CD's still interrupt cloak charge up?
