Greetings ladies and gentlemen, this is Fleet Admiral Nathaniel Davies.

The Admiralty has initiated this program to increase our joint-service capacity with other Liberty Navy fleets and our faithful allies, the Bretonia Armed Forces. Before this, transfers were ad hoc and few standards were set. This streamlined application will fix that, and raise awareness of it.

As in the standard recruitment speech, I'm not going to beat about the bush, nor tell you that your future career in the Liberty Navy First Fleet will be all water-skiing and adventure. It won't. Your enemies will be vicious, will give no quarter, and won't hesitate to pull the trigger if they see you looking vulnerable.

That being said; however, it is an extremely rewarding life.

If my words didn't scare you off, then you may proceed to answer the questions below.

Eligibility and Guidelines (ooRP - read carefully)

1) You must be the rank fo Commander or above in the Bretonia Armed Forces (BAF|), Secondary Fleet Core (SFC|), or Fifth Fleet (5th|), and have been a part of one of those fleets for a period of at least four months.

2) You must make your inRP transfer application as an alternate character. You are not required to leave your original fleet. Your original character can be brought over later on, at the discretion of the Admiralty. If accepted, your new character will be instated at the rank of Ensign, Lieutenant, or Lieutenant Commander.

3) You must meet the requirements listed here, and submit answers to the questionnaire listed below. These questions are taken from the regular recruitment page, but the number is halved for your convenience.

3) If your application is accepted, you may re-tag any ships allowed by your rank. Certain ships from your old fleet may require permission from their Admiralty to be transferred. Ships that require permission for use based off of rank in the First Fleet must be approved by the Quartermaster or Fleet Admiral.

3) If your application is accepted, you will be on a trial period of two to four weeks. During this period, you will not be eligible for promotions and awards, but those may be awarded retroactively. It is strongly recommended that you make various inRP posts during your trial period. This can take the form of Message Dump, Personnel Database, and Subdivision Application posts.

Questionnaire (ooRP - send PM to this account)

1) Your first patrol, and your first launch in your new BDR-337 Liberty Navy Heavy Fighter - also known as the ‘Executioner’. Up and away you go, leaving the planet’s atmosphere. Upon reaching the space around Manhattan, you scan the ships in the immediate vicinity. You see a Kusari 5k Transport with a recruit ID, an ALG IFF, and Bretonian turrets.
What do you do? (assume he responds to your messages).

2) Later on in your patrol you come across the LNS-Armageddon, two Defiant gunboats, and a Liberator shooting at a lone Outcast Sabre.
What do you do?

3) Another day, another patrol. However, this time you have a wingman. [LN]-Angelina.Dimitrova, a fine Naval officer. Upon your patrol of the lanes in California, you come across a Lane Hacker Gunship who was obviously pirating. You are fired upon by the pirate who simply uttered ‘engaging’ and opened fire. Upon seeing this, Angelina says “I guess it’s time to take out the trash. Charging weapons, target locked, and going in.”
Who broke the engagement rule?

4) [LN]-James.Lambert was patrolling the space near Planet Manhattan when suddenly, a mercenary begins to open fire on him. The enemy mercenary was taken down by Lambert, and undocks from Planet Manhattan moments after. Seeing him undock, [LN]-James.Lambert opens fire on him because of the mercenary being hostile from before. As soon as the mercenary cleared the atmosphere, he was destroyed once again.
Has [LN]-James.Lambert committed a rule violation, and if so, what rule was broken?

5) [LN]-Jacob.Beaumont and [LN]-Alan.Polstari were both fighting Keepers.Adad and Keepers.Kharybdis in Alaska. The fight was even until [LN]-Alan.Polstari was shot down. He then goes on the [LN]-LNS-Chico, his gunboat, and returns to the fight. Holding himself at 6k, he watches the fight and coordinates with others to assist [LN]-Jacob.Beaumont.
Has [LN]-Alan.Polstari/[LN]-LNS-Chico committed a rule violation, and if so, what rule was broken?

6) Briefly, in your own words, summarize Faction Right number two (2) and it’s associated responsibilities.

7) Name the five members of the Admiralty. (Forum name, character name, and rank.)

8) Why (not what or how) do you think ship and equipment usage is restricted by rank the way that they are?

9) How would you deal with a foreign (non-Liberty) Battleship floating in Liberty space?

10) Are people allowed to carry Nomad-related equipment or commodities in Liberty?

11) List five commodities we consider contraband.

12) Which fleet are you transferring from, what is your main character's name, what is his or her rank, how long have you been a member?

This must provide us with enough information for us to make the decision of whether you fit in the Liberty Navy, or not.

Required information is as follows:

Your Name, Age, Current Fleet, Birthplace, Gender, Height, Weight, Relatives, Previous Fields of Work, Experience, Timezone, SKYP-3 Communication Details and a short summary of yourself and your life. Remember to also mention the reasons for you wanting to become a part of the Liberty Navy.

We will contact you if we believe your application to be a little short on information.

Note: Being able to use the S-KYP3 Communications Network is mandatory after being accepted into the Liberty Navy.
