I've been doing that, but it still leaves a background, unfortunately (and I then have to scrub erroneous stuff away).
If that didn't do it in your browser, try it in another browser for the time being. It works for me on Opera.

Works fine on Ublock Origin for Chrome. After you apply the filter, refresh the page with Ctrl + F5 so that the cache will be cleared. The background should stay black.

Should be updated now, my apologies for the delay - ran into issues with updating the navmap from my laptop while I was away from home over the last few weeks, just got home yesterday and got it fixed now. Should've posted a notice about that in this thread much earlier, sorry for not keeping you all updated.
Going to try to look into the pending recent suggestions/requests in this thread as soon as I can.
