It would be nice to have a NavMap without all the stuff in the background. For me I find it very distracting having all that white and other stuff which makes seeing the actual map itself difficult.

If you could provide an option without the background then that would be appreciated by me and I suspect others as well. I do not think that it provides anything useful and without it, it would be more functional. Some people go for looks but not me, I prefer functionality. Other than that it looks good to me.
Hey! Sorry for the late reply, been busy with university - that's very understandable, and I'd like to move in that direction with the navmap too, a more functional and slightly less flashy design would indeed be nice, as it's way overdue for a design/layout update. Will keep you posted on this.
This tool changed my life.

• Some way of updating the faction names.
The faction names should be updated now, finally rewrote these to be automagically generated from the game data.
Could you please mark Drake and Omicron Phi as inaccessible since they were retconned?
I just checked Vespucci and Kansas on the map since I was responsible for changes there.
The exclusion zones look really messy on the map. Any idea why? What should I change?

Done, missed those - thanks for the heads-up!

Depends a bit on what you mean by messy, I suppose - the only thing I notice which I haven't seen in other systems before is that some of the exclusion zones in the Sonora Ice Field in Vespucci appear to be cubes rather than spheres. It's unfortunately hard to get exclusion zones to look good on the current map, since the code responsible for rendering them is fairly simple. I wouldn't worry too much about it if they work well in-game.
The map shows a jumphole connection between Alaska and Omicron Minor. Is the unstable jumphole in each system a reliable/limited path? Or is the connection on the Sirius map just a leftover?

The Unstable Jumphole connections work for 'snubcraft' only. Fighters, Bombers, SHFs, Freighters. Essentially, if it uses one of the docking bays on a station, it can use an unstable jump hole.
