I really love the little detail with the planets. Making them look like a miniature version of the real thing :)

this.
Yup, sounds like a good idea to me as well: Will get that implemented somehow over the next few hours, just got to grab something to eat first. Thanks for the feedback! Smile

EDIT (1844 UTC+0): Done, just give me a poke if I've missed any of them. I had to add them manually in the end, as I haven't (yet) found anything obvious in the game data loaded by the universe map module that I could use to distinguish between human and alien JGs automagically, unfortunately.

Good to hear! It's a feature that I've wanted to add for quite some time, so I must say that I was really quite happy when I first got all the in-game planet textures to render like they should yesterday; they work (and look) a whole lot better for visual navigation in-game than the semi-random and often inaccurate colours that were used previously. Big Grin
Would it be a good idea to add an option for someone to turn labels off if they want to?

Sure, I can think of a few use cases where that could be useful: I'll get that added and reorganize the config menu a bit in the process.

EDIT (16.01 13:11 UTC+0): Done!
The update to the planets is good. Definitely gives the map more depth.
Would it be a valid suggestion to change O-94 out of being a Corsair system on the universe map, since there's a Bounty Hunters base there now?

Thanks, glad to hear that! Rather pleased with the performance improvements that were made around that time too, as the map's now quite a lot more mobile-friendly on the devices I've run performance tests on since then.

EDIT: My apologies for the late reply. >:

Hmh. I wouldn't say that the move of Capetown Station changes the status quo all that much, as it is still populated mostly by Corsairs and their bases. I'm also not sure how to consider the move itself, as it was - as far as I can understand - supposed to be a part of the v4.88.5 Omegas/Hispania update scheduled for March and is thus only stationed there temporarily, so I think I'll wait until the next update before reconsidering system classes.

Right, that makes sense.
Remarkable. Well Done.
Suggestion:

Maybe add an infocard browser? Like, being able to check infocards on a base?
