[Image: 7gLT11MGOww.jpg] Konbanwa, Kusari officers! Today, 29.07.823
Today I patrolled Shikoku, everything was fine. I met two trading ships belonging Kishiro. I stopped them and scanned. They were transporting hydrogen fuel. Releasing them, I returned on patrol. In a way, I had problems with navigation, but I was able to solve itself without technical assistance. When I was almost finished patrolling, I met another ship. It was a freelancer with the name of John Johnson. I stopped him and scanned the cargo. He was carrying stabiline. Following Kusari Legal Codex (3-1-2), I must append his name to Kusari Criminal Database. I tried to stop him, but he resisted. I chased him, I turned off his shields and generator. Then he stopped and dropped the cargo. I arrested him and drove to the prison where he awaits trial.

Konnichiwa fellow officers, in my patrols today (3/09/823) I came across a few traders. One such freelancer was carrying base supplies while unregistered. I asked them to stop and they eventually did. Upon explaining the offence they apologized and dropped the cargo, due to small scale of the offence I decided to let them off with a warning to not carry base supplies without being registered and waive the fine. However, in my haste, I forgot to note the ID and time that this took place.

Of other note is this TLAGSNET scan, showing the ship "Starlight" carrying a large variety of illegal goods. The scan was commenced in the early hours of yesterday morning. Again, the exact time was unfortunately not noted.

Konbanwa, fellow Officers, today in my patrolling this morning, I came across this pirate vessel. After explaining the situation, I escorted them out of Kusari and reminded them not to bring pirate vessels into Kusari. This afternoon, I came across this fellow, carrying cardamine. They tried to hide on Planet Kyushu, but I waited them out. They tried to run to Tau-23, but I chased and managed to take them down after a brief fight. This concludes my report for today.

Addendum: I ran into another pirate train entering from Gallic space, so I again escorted them out of the system

Addendum 2: I ran into another smuggler outside of Planet New Toyko, carrying some Black Market Mutinitions. They claimed to be carrying them for the Kusari Naval Forces for destruction, but was not able to prove the claim. They then dropped the cargo, and paid out 3 million credits for a fine

Konnichiwa officers, I have decide to finish my patrol report in a new report to keep each one more concise. Firstly, I encountered an Order battleshiparound planet New Tokyo. Since I was only in a Light Fighter, I decided to not try to take it out by myself, and escorted it through Kusari space and into the independant worlds.

Second I ran into some artifact smugglers. The first one, Tyten, had a cloak and ran off several times after each engagement. The second, Dijiayt, did not say anything in return, and was destroyed

Finally, I ran into Utsukushi Noumin of the Farmers Alliance by the New Tokyo -> Honshu jumpgate. After chasing them around the system, we had a fight where my vessel was unfortunately destroyed.

Konnichiwa fellow officers, I am reporting in incidents for the last or so. Firstly, I encountered some outcast ships from the 72nd fleet in Honshu. After they refused to be arrested I engaged them and chased them through to sigma-19, where upon my ship was destroyed as I was pulling back.

Next there was a smuggler in the Hiroshima system. They docked at the Reznu Shipyards and refused to leave. I tired to chase them down inside the station, however they had too much of a head start and I had to continue my patrol. I came across another smuggler, who again docked and hid on a foreign station.

I also came across one Mr Yoshida of the Lane Hackers. After a long and tiresome discussion I escorted him back to Galileo. However he returned so I engaged him, but he escaped into an Ion Storm and came back with Very Heavy Fighter and destroyed my ship, leaving me unable to pursue him further.

I also came across Thorizan, of the Junkers Congress. They did not respond to my inquiry, and were taken out by the automated defenses surrounding Planet New Tokyo.

This concludes my report,

Ohayou gozaimusu, I have several things to report this morning. Firstly, I started a patrol just in time to help Junsa Uzumaki take down some smugglers in the Kanto Field. Unfortunately there were able to make their delivery of Black Market Mutinitions before Uzumaki-san or myself could stop them. I was also contacted by an IMG convoy heading through Kusari for an escort, which I was more than happy to help with. I escorted them from Honshu, through to Kyushu, whereupon they departed for the Tau-23 jumphole. However, I over heard their radio chatter about an outcast problem, so I followed them through into Tau-23 to help them deal with the outcast. I escorted them to the Tau-37 jumphole, where the outcast was waiting. The transports made it through, and I dealt with the outcast, and then flew back to New Tokyo to drop off my prisoners in the liner, and now I am making my report from the KSP offices there.

The IMG were also very pleased with the assistance, and have donated 10 million credits to the KSP, which I can transfer to the bank once I have the details.

Konnbanwa officers, I have very strange news to report from my patrol last night. It started as any other patrol- Junsa Uzumaki had asked for assistance dealing with an Outcast Battleship, so I readied the Fukuoka and left for Shikoku. Junsa Uzumaki then informed me the target had fled to Kyushu, so I followed through the jumphole. I then raced off to the Tau-23 jumphole, to blockade it. We waited out for Outcast, but there was no further sightings. For more information on the subject, I will have to refer you to Junsa Uzumaki. We then head back to New Tokyo, to unload the various pirates captured in our patrols.

The Liner now has these pirates and other various unlawful pilots, locked away. Due to their increasing numbers, I recommend contacting one of the Keiretsu to bring in some more supplies to keep the ship running. Apart from an improved supply of Food Rations and Water, some Marines and appropriate armaments would be a great help to keeping the prisoners in check.

It was just after we had unloaded our prisoners when a hostile contact came into range near Planet New Tokyo. The ship was identified as a Nomad Battleship, of all things. This was a frightening sight so close to our capital planet. Junsa Usumaki and myself tried to fight if off, but we had to make several runs back to the planet for emergency repairs. Eventually, I managed to contact a patrolling KNF officer, who quickly brought in heavier ships, eventually having 3 Battleships providing a solid bulwark between the aliens, who had reinforced their lone ship with several more battleships, gunboats and crusiers. These hostile reinforcements included a series of Libertonian Naval Ships! I could hardly believe it when they opened fire on us. Despite the shocking and sudden nature of their assault, we were eventually able to fight off the last wave of aliens. Due to the extreme amounts of damage the Fukuoka endured during the fight, I took her over to Yokohama Shipyard for extensive repairs, and she should be space-worthy in a day or two, thanks to the skill of our shipyard workers.

Hopefully, the KNF and KNI will be able to sort out just what happened, and how to prevent it happening again.

Signing off for now, and for a really long sleep,

Konnichiwa officers, I have caught 2 smugglers this morning, which I shall report upon now. I first noticed them by their suspicious movements on the long-range scanners. Once they entered the Trade-lanes I was able to confirm these suspicions. Unfortunately, both of them made it out of Honshu and into the Sigma's. However, I waited by Aikta Border Station until they came back. The smuggler by name of Exon was first, coming into the Honshu system via the Sigma-21 jumphole. I intercepted them by the Osaka ruins, whereupon they fled. They refused to drop the Sorted Artifacts, so I opened fire. However my guns were not able to make much headway. I was however, able to chase them to the Sigma-13 jumphole, where they left kusari space. At this point my ship needed serious repairs, so I headed back to Akita Border Station for repairs.

While my ship was being repaired, I grabbed the KDS-Nihon. Seeing that the second smuggler had made their way through Kusari and were in fact returning with more illegal goods, I headed to the New Toyko to Shikoku jumpgate. On the way there however, I ran into the first smuggler, Exon again. This time, they were much more compliant, and after trying to bribe me, they dropped the cargo and paid their fine of 5 million. While this was happening the second smuggler had made it from Shikoku, through Kyushu and into New Tokyo. I deduced that they were likely going to use the Honshu jumphole, so I raced over there and waited for them. Sure enough, they appeared, a corsair freighter. Again, after trying to bribe me, they dropped the contraband and paid a 2 million credit fine, whereupon I escorted them to Osaka's ruins and they flew off to the Sigma-21 jumphole.

However, I while I was writing this report, TLAGNET reported another smuggler- Exon again. I managed to intercept by the Honshu jumphole in Hokkaido. They were quite ashamed, but dropped the cargo and payed their fine again, this time, 6 million credits. Afterwards, I tried to intercept another smuggler, but was not able to catch them before they made it into the Tau's.
