Mantis: Assault
The game starts out in a secret location known as fountain bay, on the outscurts of london. You see a cut scene of a few guys smoking around a large fountain, looking at a dark window. Then it goes to you, who are looking out the window right at the smokers. You have a squad of about 21 behind you. You take a couple steps back and then run and jump throught he window. In mid air you fire at the smoking men, who are gaurds. You procede through a long coridoor inside a large round building. A few grunts pop out and try to pop you. You kill them of corseusing your suit powersand your amazing gun skills. After going through a series of rooms inside the complex, you make it too an underground subway station, which is actually an abondoned mantis transportation railway, taken over by the mass terrorist organization, ZA, or Zygoeths' Army. You see a man in a black army suit, with a black helmet reading, D. You follow him all the way to the railroad area. He then boards an incoming train and you turn on super speed (a suit power) You manage to catch extremely fast train, but some mysterious man by the Dark clothed man turns it up to a dangerous speed. The train hits a rough area in the track and you are literally hurtled up from the ground, and thrown into the sea. (the train by this time has traveled nearly have the length of britian, and is near the coat.) You swim to the top and get a new objective, commendeer a ship, and ride it too New Jersey. You see a ship and board. Unluckily, it is a britian Naval ship, and they fire at you. Your able to take it over, and ride it slowly to new jersey, you sleep most of the way, but theres about 1 hour of ship battles. You wake up and see the coast of New Jersey, you land and quickly cloak yourself, and run to a strip bar. What you don't know though, is that your about to upset the entire New Jersey mafia. You walk into the strip bar, and are confronted by a large fat italian man with a knife. Of corse you kill him and run away. The man you kill is aparrently a mob boss, for a large chain of families. You are then chased around Atlantic City (thats your location) by the mafia. Oh i forgot to mention, all you suit powers are gone after the train accident. You manage to overtake all of the mafia, and escape new jersey into new york. In new york a mantis helicopter picks you up, and briefs you on a new mission. The mission is to infiltrate part of Arizona, attempt to assinate a man code named "Sgt. Doom" and capture a new super suit. You fly to arizona, and are put in the dessert. Now Sgt. Doom is Zygoeths (leader of the ZA) General, and commands to ZA. ZA has many large bases set up in arizona, which you must battle through. Finally you come to the final base called, Heptus 4 (3 other bases you destroyed are heptus 3 2 and 1.) Here you meet doom and have a short battle, but he escapes. They blow up the building, killing much of the invasion squad (you have about 500 or so mantis soilders behind your back) You follow him on his way to an abandoned town near pheonix, which a large group of ZA tanks, and armored cars are driving towards. There plan is to attempt to destroy pheonix. You bombard the line of vehicles and then you meet up with doom again. Doom is now wearing the Super Suit you heard about. It is MUCH STRONG then the Mantis Suit capabilities, so the battle includes you smashing through many walls. You shoot him until the suit explodes, leaving doom lightly scared on his back. He runs and you pursue, but a large rocket from a helicopter shoots you, knocking you backwards. He escapes on the helicopter, and they fly away. You return the the bombardment, where you see a line of tanks and other armored vehicles destroyed, you go talk to your squad, but there acting funny. You turn and you hear a click. You quick turn around and a mantis soilder tries to kill you. You kill him but hes not the only one, the entire squad (whats left of them) aim and fire. You shoot them all, and everyone of them dies. They are VERY hard to kill. Then you drive to pheonix in a still operational tank. The cops try to kill you, but your too fast. You jump out, pull open a man hole, and jump in. Thats the game.
