While I may be a new face in the organization, my colleagues have impressed upon me the great regard with which we hold for the Order and its personnel and I am eager to finally speak with you in a diplomatic capacity. Word from the deep Omicrons is sparse these days, however, and I view it as a great pity that we Hackers do not have more frequent contact with our brothers and sisters in arms.

Today it is my hope that we can break that silence and once again cooperate on a mission of great importance to Humanity.

Over the past year the Lane Hackers have grown concerned about the threat posed by the Oracles; that Maltese cult which is shrouded in mystery to most. Of course, our two organizations know the truth behind the mystique. The Oracles represent a renewed threat of Nomad infiltration not only within Libertonian space but to the entirety of Sirius. As such we have conducted a multi-pronged operation to identify and root out the source of this cancer once and for all. Some time ago we were able to interrogate a high-ranking Libertonian Oracle cult member who divulged certain information regarding the structure of the cult and the names and locations of its leading agents. More recently, a small team of Hackers mounted a raid on the home of another Oracle agent on Planet Los Angeles which, though it did not capture the agent in question, revealed a wealth of data about her habits and identity. Thanks to the actions of our illustrious agents, we now have information regarding the movements and disposition of the highest-ranking Oracle agent active in Liberty. She appears to be what you would refer to as a "Hybrid," an inhuman admixture of Nomad and Homo Sapiens DNA, and as such resides in an uncomfortable place beyond our current knowledge.

The Lane Hackers do not, as a matter of course, enter into any operation without proper information and planning beforehand. Therefore we request your cooperation in preparing for the capture and interrogation of this creature. Through this endeavor we hope to obtain information that not only reveals the structure of the Libertonian Oracle cult, but specific information and recorded metadata which can implicate the outsiders who we believe are enabling the cult to function within Liberty. We are willing to share this information with you, in the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation, so that we can work together to permanently bring an end to this insidious Nomad threat.

As for the main target, we are currently tracking the whereabouts of our monstrous demagogue in the vicinity of Malta, an area in which we have significant freedom to operate but which the Order will likely have trouble mobilizing the proper forces. This is why we are mobilizing Lane Hacker forces immediately to engage in the capture of this rogue element; a choice which we hope you will understand is done out of the strictest necessity. Know that our surveillance dragnet is closing in around her more tightly each day, but that we cannot afford to go in unprepared and risk losing such a prize. We hope that your cooperation can enable us to achieve a resounding success in this venture.

To conclude, allow me to outline the most essential aspects of the accord we hope to reach.

We would like all information you have regarding the capabilities of the creatures known as "Hybrids," including, but not limited to, physical, mental, and extrasensory capabilities. In order to safeguard our personnel we must be aware of any possible detail that could allow our target to elude capture, resist interrogation, or incapacitate, defenestrate, or otherwise discombobulate researchers and essential staff. That data is essential to the success of this operation, and we trust that you will allow us access to everything we need.

Related to the prior request, we also wish to retrofit one of our laboratory spaces to contain and interrogate this "Hybrid" in a safe and effective manner. We defer to your knowledge on the Nomad threat in this regard, however, as we have little information on the necessary defensive measures to take when dealing with one of these elusive "Hybrid" creatures. It may be best to conduct negotiations about this separately, as our implementation of the containment plan relies heavily on your Nomad data.

What we are offering is the capture of a "Hybrid" specimen of tremendous authority in the Libertonian hierarchy as well as the Oracle cult itself, snatched from the very maw of her protectors in a region which would otherwise prove a significant logistical challenge to the Order.

We are also offering significant information to aid in the dismantling of the Libertonian Oracles, something which I am certain you have a vested interest in doing. This aid includes all information recovered about the Oracles hierarchy available to us (including information received during the interrogation of the target), information regarding our pursuit of the organization thus far, research data on the "Hybrid" individual, and evidence about the outside forces who have conspired to spread this vile cult in Liberty so that you may take your investigation where we cannot.

It pleases me to see such a quick response from the High Command on this issue, however I have spoken to the Professors on the matter and they are puzzled by your insistence on a physical transfer of data. As you may know, the Lane Hackers pride ourselves on our substantial digital infrastructure, and it would be a paltry task to provide you with a secure line of communication on which to send the aforementioned information. They believe that it would not only be more efficient to make use of our secure channels (as the information could be immediately integrated into our multiple distributed servers), but it would also be significantly less dangerous than having one of your embedded agents break cover to deliver a package to our hands. An important consideration in our secrecy and distance, not to mention your own, is the vast number of rapscallions and ne'er-do-wells who wish to see our demise.

If there is some circumstance which precludes this, I would like to have it explained so that I can relay that to the Professors to assuage their concerns.

Regular circumstances would only allow me to present a basic summary of the current situation, however, taking your professors' renowned cautious nature into account, I will take the time in providing details.

I see your encryption is non standard and this is good. All I can tell you is from my own experiences of the process as we hold it. Its a vary.. uh. risky process for even maltesians. Some people have a genetic predisposition to the process that can increase your chances of survival but its not guaranteed. And we don't know why some genetics are predisposed and some aren't.. There are many theories.

I am but a humble windcaller.. many of the cultists don't seek communion with the divine :but: it happens anyway. As far as I can tell despite the lights disapproval of humans they keep finding exceptional individuals within, and some of those never seek us out. We are an open resource as a spiritual path and great work has gone into it not being about the divine but the seeker and their personal truths. This does not conflict with.. say. the cross who have great reverence for the divine. We love their order and have grand reverence for them as well, but we are focused on the individual's innocence and spirituality... I guess you'd call it Malta brand Zen.

Its this path we've found delivers the seeker into freedom of thought and spirit. And as Our master teacher thomas says "Is the only path of immortality." he knows.

So as a follower of this path for.. oh.. three years i can tell you that I did not choose the rite of inclusion.. and becoming of the higher family of oracles. But again. it isn't for everyone.

Your openness to individual circumstance is pleasing, though please forgive the pinch of scepticism that must be applied to the situation. All the talk of Order’s, Shrines and Churches gives a… monastic feel to your organisation. Under these strange circumstances, i ask for you to meet my vessel christened "The-Zealous". I have the available facilities and equipment to keep us both hidden and protected from eyes that hunt. The second option you have proposed would be suitable. Her condition would be seen as "normal" to those who want AI's for utility purposes, but for me, she was my other half, she held the teachings of anger, happiness and grief and a collection of what makes our lives fulfilling.
I feel as if they would take much longer than the life span she has left to re-teach, and i wish to share my emotions with her, share those feelings again...

The second set of files regards a verified confession about Nomad activity in Liberty from the former Junkers Congress Arbiter James McKenna. The Arbiter had been in service to the vile Oracle cult, a connection which he divulged alongside chilling information regarding the cooperation of the Junkers Congress and Hellfire Legion with Nomad infiltrators. As I implied to your agent in our first meeting, we are keeping a close eye on this situation as it develops in an effort to verify these claims. As you might surmise, the Hellfire Legion and their lapdogs, the independent Battlegroup Auxesia, form a significant threat to the safety of Liberty's civilians if this infestation is allowed to grow.
