So I'm very much confused what the current status with the three wild factions is. I know that at one point a merge happened and they are now all supposedly one faction, but at the same time I still see three tags flying around and three leaders in the faction leaders chat. I'm also somewhat confused because to the best of my memory D9 never actually got official in the first place.
So I'd like for an admin to actually please clarify what the status of these factions is. From what I've heard for some reason even though all three factions operate in different areas, with different leaders, with different restrictions on what ships they can fly based on where they're located, the only thing that is actually shared between them is an ID and the fact that when it comes time to look at faction activity checks, they all count as one faction.
To me this simply seems like the various wild factions are too inactive to exist on their own, but want the benefits of actually being separate factions. With that said I'd very much like to know what the actual conditions / terms of the original merger were considering what I've just said, especially since as mentioned D9 never actually got official in the first place.
