Physical Science Division

The PSD is the sub-division of the DRD that focuses mainly on fieldwork, as it is based on physics. Sometimes they are seen working in the labs among the Biological Division. Escorts will be seen among them, but rarely will be Tenrai, unless they are in grave danger.

The BSD is the subdivision of the DRD that is almost always found in the labs, working on several experimental processes. Occasionally they may be seen alongside PSD ships out on the field. They are important, so they are guarded by Tenrai agents.

The PSY subdivision is without a doubt the most secretive of the three. What goes on in its areas are rarely spoken of, and if they are, only to trusted individuals. They work in the field of psychology, and are almost never seen among the other two subdivisions. But if they are seen among the others, chances are someone has done a big wrong and the men in black have come to take them. It is rumored they are guarded by some of the best Tenrai agents.

A Minor Abridgement of DRD Lore

Formed from the head scientists at Sendai Research Complex, the Blood Dragons Research Division is the heart and soul of the Blood Dragon advancements in technology, warfare, and many other sciences. These scientists are also responsible for the advances in medical technology, armoring, weaponry, ships and capital crafts, food, survival goods, and many other things that Dragons use today. Founded while Yuki Hokama was still the Shogunate of the Dragons, the DRD is led by Lady Sunmar Iona. She seems rude, but she is very dependable and gets things done when they must be done, with the help of her teams. The co-leaders are temporarily Ladies Jōnin Michi and Machi Niwa who are somewhat strange individuals. They are also the heads of the Tenrai.
The Blood Dragons Research Division has grown to be a crucial portion of the Sendai Research Team. It is still the secondary division in fleet research. The first still being Sendai 86 who merged with the Dragons almost a year ago. The DRD's task has since evolved when Yuki founded it, expanding to most corners of Blood Dragon controlled space to expand their knowledge on the space the Dragons call home. The flagship of the DRD wing is strangely not even a capital vessel, rather the flagship is the BD|DRCV-Sukuroru, an Akegata class transport retro fitted to act as a mobile outpost. The secondary flagship is the BD|DRCV-Endmare, a lightly armored Kagutsuchi cruiser which is used to protect the research station itself in case any accidents break out.
So far, the Blood Dragons Research Division has been responsible for helping the Blood Dragons bring all their capital vessels into working operation with the help of the shipyard workers on Mito as well as retrofitting many other Blood Dragon exploration ships for space. In recent years, the DRD has expanded heavily in its wings, developing three subdivisions of scientists. It has grown to be quite an impressive group of intelligent men and women of Kusari.
