so i may be completly new to these forums and not know 100% how things work yet but i wish to become more involved if possible and i had a though while the bounty hunters are cool in the world of freelancer i am more of a fan of the SW style of bounty hunters so i had am idea of a new faction of bounty hunters a group who is niether opposed or aligned with any faction and in it souly for the money yet have a strict warrior code and rules EG: always have a fair fight , fight with honor ,treat other members of the (true) bounty hunters like they are familly this faction would have no real structure apart from the Huntmasters leaders of each different sectors huntsmen and the lord of the hunt (guildmaster) they will "supply thier services to any with the cash be it escort missions or a capture or kill and are able to apply for all different factions bountys be it lawfull or unlawfull and thier ship requlations will be limited to fighters and a few gunboats infact thier ownly enemies would be the BHG and the Core for being against law and order (ps didnt know where i should post this
Moved that for you. Maybe better to discuss in a discussion forum.

You might want to check the long dead faction "Mandalorian Merceneries" ner vod.
thanks but there is the problem " long dead "
Well I guess there was a reason for it.

The problem is that you cannot really stay neutral for long. When someone pays you high to shoot the Law enforcement then they will most likely not be friendly ever again. But I like the idea of a less lawful BHG.
By neutrality thats the faction as a whole but each player has his own enemies for example the act of one bounty hunter would effect only him and maybe a individuals view on the faction as a whole this would open up intersting Rp option Ie: your friends pulled a job that has angered the liberty law enforcment they want him dealt with so they send a request to the faction do "rub him off" as your friend do you suddenly decide to help him or is the money to good also it would make hiring intersting maybe agains the companys better judgment you hired a member thus creating a interesting dispute in said comapany
That doesn't sound like a faction. Or at least not how factions work on discovery. If you have a tage and a faction you will all be treated similarly.
then the factions reputation would go with the ebb and flow of the members the guildmaster would have to attemp to manage the rep along with the sector leaders that in itself has its own appeal and charm
so there is no faction similar to the one i proposed ?
