I found out about this community way back in 2014, and got a Freelancer disc like two weeks ago. Forums wouldn't let me create an account for a bit, but I finally got one. So here I am.
I'm not going to waste your time on my RP ability, so instead I'm going to say "Hi."

I will then see you in-game.

(Also, my weapon groups don't work. What is up with that?)

About your group weapons, try to dock while group weapon "1" is activated
everything will fine after that.

Don't use assign weapon group, only activate.

Activate the number, set the weapons in the bottom right panel, and switch number to change weapons to said number. Always do things such as, for example, splitting up shield busters and hull busters.

My weapon groups are usually: 1- both hull busters and shields
2 - hull only
3- shield only

Before you dock, always activate the first one, or the others will reset.
