For Keepers eyes only.

This data record will act as my will and memoir of our objectives and status within the Fleet, a personal diary for work, and for the future Keepers to learn and to reflect upon. Should one be lost within their ideals or goals, they should refer to this to remind themselves. The link has been modified to allow neural uplink interaction, for both download and upload.

When I formed our organisation, starting off from a mere wing squadron of people, it was within hearts intent to build up, love and preserve. Now, we were only small, and the Eidolon wasn't repaired. We flew around, slowly gathering more and more people to join the cause of preserving what little Humanity we had left, to enact against the unknown for the greater good, studying it, dissecting it. We were evolving. It was inevitable we had to expand our operations, begrudingly taking up deeds to gain some kind of income. We did what we have to do to survive. And it worked, for the most part. It was live action training, and a good motivator for keeping a healthy spirit. A great way to exercise cooperation. It was our first steps as a people.

But. There was a point in time where we just... tripped over and fell. The Nomads - I think - striked us. The camp that was set up planetside of Wichita was just scorched. There were less people, and we were banished to the voids for the time being, scavenging what we could. Not everyone was gone, and I'm thankful that half of our ships decided to remain on the Wraith back in Vespucci.

Time moved on. The Eidolon was long into play, we arrested some of the Initative or adopted them into the growing fleet, liberating the Cincinnati from the Initiative. Funny. We were originally going to slaughter them all, and destroy the ship, along with Dawnbreaker, but here are. With them. Working together.

And then, Ataraxia, it was finished long ago. It felt like an eternity. The station allows us to have a place to lay low for some time, also allowing us to continues our studies within the dark. It's helpful too, as Kansas is a place known for being weird - ... name due to the previous experiences with the Nomads. But this time, we prepared for the unknown. It also seems that we made some new neighbours in the making, the Xenos. I foresee use in them, particularly with their mining abilities. But their xenophobic tendencies may harshen these benefits. I do not know how to feel with the slightly erratic nature of the Commonwealth.

Either way, we slowly progress towards our cause, preserving what knowledge there is to find out there, discovering the unknown, watching the Sector carefully. But our ultimate? Mmmmmm. Or is it /my/ ultimate, as I am the Founder - the pusher for this cause? Now, I cannot say so soon, as it heavily influences my personal desires. I am no dictator. I believe in freedom, but I also believe within basic management of society - people should be given a chance, but idiocy shouldn't flow free.

In the end, I wonder how we'll progress amongst the stars within the future.

When it comes to managing culture and society, it is no myth that socialising is my weakness, but there are still a few keypoints to keep in mind.

Everyone is your family, regardless of who or what they are.

Perhaps the exceptions don't include their background and attitude, but gaining the trust of your people is of utmost importance. Loyalty should always be rewarded. It's a sign of recognition and trust, the more trust you have in society, the happier the people, and the more productive your family will be. Always listen to others concerns - without them, you are nothing. It is essentially comparable to the characteristics of an Alpha Male, or Female in my case, of a pack. Everyone looks up to you, relying on your strengths. Hence why the Keepers are held with strength and intellect, to protect what we love, and to push the cause forward.

But remember, not everything has to be done alone. Friends, family and comrades are there to help you, and I usually have to relearn this the hard way. I know it may be a struggle, desiring to do everything in a particular fashion, but it's for the best that work is spread out, while leaving a watchful eye over it. Keeping a balance within the workflow is optimal, dispersing work stress. Venators are your friends for this. The Curator is also your manager in absence. Treat them with utmost respect, and they shall return the favour.

Do not let emotions get to you, having a cool-levelled head is imperative. If not, you'll be greatly open for attack, failure in operation, assassination or even a coup d'état.

These may seem so easy, so simple, but yet - when within the heated moments, they're easily put aside as we follow our instincts, not our mind.

Short term priorities. Let's cover it.

Inverness.

A diplomatic resolution should be attempted here. If the Legion is unable to succeed talks with the Junkers, an operation involving the Junker's safe escape will have to go underway. The Bretonians will also have to be approached concerning the situation, as Inverness is still part of their star charter. It would be optimal if we could secure the system as an export point between the Commonwealth and the Bretonian borders, and observation point of the Nomadic presence nearby. Oh, and we'll have to kick the Order out. Boot to the ass.

Though, it could mean they may go cry to their 'allies' - the Colonials or Liberty. That'll only cause issues for them. Mmmmmm. Beyond that, an ending where minimal violence happens is ideal.

Securing income.

As we're moving away from hunting as our source of occassional income, our probes discovered veins of ore within the Dodge Asteroid Field, it shows an opportunity to open up trade with Bretonia, Rheinland or Kusari. I'm sure we can obtain mining equipment from the IMG. Although, hm. I thought of the idea of letting the Xenos do the mining, and us securing the exports. I have yet to bring it up to the Inner Phalanx. But... I have expectations their xenophobia will get the better of them. Of course, all of this this also means we'll have to set fundings towards our merchant aspect of the fleet, cutting off the external operations.

Expansion of operation.

After the resolution of Inverness, I believe we'll be capable of spreading out assets to secure overwatch in the borders of the Houses. Battlegroup Aglaea with the Andraste as the mobile operations, is already set out with the AI in Omicron Kappa. Reports of the Core have been quiet lately. I speculate that we can make use of the tactical location to raid miners, and subtly supply them to the AI.

Other locations are planned, such as an observation wing in Sigma-13, Newport Station. I believe I have a contact for purchasing some space on the station, thanks to one of the Zeta agents. Zeta Wing was also showing interest in activities in the Sigmas, particuarly Sigma-59 due to the exotic nature of the cloud, it allures them. Quite odd. Maybe it's to do with the rock formation.

Another area of interest is to query our old friends in Koeln, Poole and Cayman, as these points are optimal for surveillance in the deeper Omegas, as well as opening up the opportunity to intercept smuggling vessels. Working in small numbers is imperative, we don't need to attract attention.

A charter. Lines represent patrol and operation zones for each region. Larger circles mean a place to stop and restock. Purple is for zones of interest already set up and covered. Red means operational home. Yellow means temporary base. Green means planned or conceptual zones.

Most of the focus is noticably towards the eastern part of Sirius, mainly due to the intent of pursuing alien materials and technology, which is more common within the Omegas, Sigmas and Omicrons. Of course, secured materials can profit.

The current resource allocation is the following

Hopefully, we can soon change these numbers to suit the upcoming Civic needs, primarily to deploy the Logistic Fleet.
