Fleeing from New Hampshire
H|-, LH~, UN| - [LN], 5th

Details:

When: December 2nd, 19:00 UTC (server time)
Where: New Hampshire, Liberty

How:

LN:

The Liberty Navy will be starting from Battleship Whitefield. They will consist of an intercept wing of fighters and one bomber wing. The intercept wing will be the one to spot the Battlegroup and then calls for bomber support to be sent after the fleeing Separatist vessels. When the event begins the fighters will attack at D3 and then call for bomber support once they found the ships.

Separatists and Supporters:

The Separatists will be moving their battlegroup toward the Puerto Rico Jumphole. They will be represented by the Harmony and the Discovery. Discovery had been heavily crippled in the escape from Alaska and only just barely repaired by the Unioners. Most snubcraft had been sent ahead or would cover the group or intercept attackers. The goal is for the capital vessels to escape. The Lane Hackers will be trying to cover the Harmony with the Unioners arriving from Puerto Rico to assist. Harmony must survive.

Rules:

-Registration for the event is -mandatory- to participate.

-This event is for the LISTED PLAYER FACTIONS ONLY. Indies are not allowed to participate. Unless we get those slots full quick. Then we can allow indie Supporters and indie Navy but then I might split up the event in two locations.

-Troll loadouts (such as dual nova bombers, dual mine SHFs, dual torp/missile SHFs, torp+missile fighters, etc) are not allowed in the event.

-Once you are in the fight, you will not be cheesy and run to restock. When the fight stays, you stay.

-Cloaking is forbidden.

Story synopsis:

The long story explanation can be seen here.

With the LSF having mostly surrendered or succumbed to the hostile Navy forces, Battlegroup Harmony was left no choice but to dare the breach out of the Alaska system. With intelligence provided by the Lane Hackers and their informant in the LSF, Avery Reeves, the Battlegroup and remaining =LSF= members will attempt to breach the blockade but not without losses and damage.

Most Navy ships had been shaken off but there was still pursuers searching for them and eventually they'd be found out. The Navy would have to act quickly with the ressources at hand in the New Hampshire system if they wouldn't want to lose the Harmony in the Bethlehem Nebula and the connected systems. Will they succeed in stopping the Battlegroup? How much damage will it take? It would depend on the alliances they'd made with various unlawful groups in Liberty...

No caps for [LN]/5th? Not even as a 'mobile flagship' that can't attack unless in defense/the snubs are gone?
The cap the Navy uses is stationary. The Harmony caps are crippled and won't change course to barge in any snub fights. The Discovery doesn't even have functioning heavy weaponry anymore. So unless we get a lot more people I don't think I'll add one.

So only one real battleship that will be shooting to defend, and one large target to shoot at :p Got it.
Need a cam ship?

Well recordings are always appreciated!
Ergh, I just noticed the event is exactly at the same time when the AFC event is. Won't be able to come, then.
