Hey, So I have found a mission where the way points are all over the place and its impossible to abort.
The mission is against the Wild in the Newcastle system starting point Battleship Macduff. Difficulty Level is 37 and the Reward is 3,100,000. I have provide a few screen shots via the link below, I hope this Info helps.

That is one of the signs that the server needs to be rebooted. I bet that you were unable to abort the mission.

Yeahs that's right I couldn't abort and it wasn't registering that I was at the waypoint.
