'Tsar' Battle-Cruiser Forward Cannon

The 'Tsar' Foward Cannon, designed for use by the 'Hurricane' Battle-Cruiser [See Project File: Resurgency , is a reverse-engineering of the Blood Dragon's 'Bo-Hiya' Antimatter Cannon due to stipulations in the Blood Dragon - Coalition Alliance [See Diplomatic File: Blood Dragons ]. It also takes observations from the use of the 'Tunguska' Antimatter Cannon used on the 'Revolution' XKR 151-C.

The 'Tsar' is highly experimental, due to heat generation and power requirements requires that the gun be built directly into the superstructure of the 'Hurricane' Battle-Cruiser. During testing at full power it was noted that the power requirements required more to power all four Cannons. Mykolaiv's Research & Development Team has thus built in limiters on the weapon's output in order for all cannons to fire, this unfortunately has shown a sharp decrease in firepower per cannon. However High Command officials deemed it a small sacrifice for the purpose of the ship as a 'Break Through' vessel.

Director's Notes: The Tsar while is lower-powered in comparison to other weapons of it's tonnage still can pose a serious threat to the unsuspecting vessel, future tests will determine if it is suitable for ship-to-ship combat or planetary bombing missions.

The cooling systems took from the designs of the 'Jormungand' on board the CPW Kaliningrad while the energy emitters took notes from the Blood Dragon 'Bo-Hiya' Forward Gun and the 'Tunguska' Antimatter Cannon used by the XKR 151-C 'Revolution' Configuration. Highly recommend weapons testing to occur in the Siberian Nebula against the Ice Asteroids before using on objects with a higher density [ IE: Another Warship ]. Should weapon testing in Siberia has less than satisfying results the weapon will be restricted to Planetary Bombing Missions against targets that are dug in.
