The 17th Spec Ops Squadron "Rapiers"
The unit known as the Rapiers exist apart and beyond the rank and file of the Crayter Military. A covert squadron under the direct control of the Crayter Intelligence Service. Pilots will often gossip about knowing a guy, who knows someone who got inducted into the 17th, and turned into a completely different person. Rumors abound of dark conspiracies, and no pilot will ever admit wanting to join 17th, Yet, when the man in the suit and sunglasses appears in the squadron hall, everyone hopes he's going to call their name.

Being a 17th Agent was a dream for many civilians and military personnel, this is because the job it self made you a special operative pilot. Having personal jobs, objectives and missions instead of as squadrons that you will have within the military, but also you are seen as a very important person within the Republic. The Republic Government and the Military respect and honor all agents that are a 17th Spec Ops Rapier Agent due to the tough, dangerous and very risky challenges that await.


Present Day
Today the former Intelligence Service Director supposedly went missing in action along with the rest of the 17th Spec Ops Rapiers. This is tragic news for all of the Republic, but a few months later, there had been reports and communications from allies of the Republic to inform the President that the Spec Ops Agents went rogue for unknown reasons. So with the 17th Spec Ops Rapiers no longer apart of the Crayter Intelligence Service, it will be under going changes for a new, fresh start. Where there will be one director. The rank and job role will be to communicate and inform the President of Crayter Republic of new intel and gathering of enemy movements, strategies and other necessary information, but will also to inform two directors of two specific divisions.

These two specific divisions are yet to be named due to classified reasons but what information can be told is one will deal with internal matters of the Republic and the other will be external matters.

Internal matters will have the main role of dealing with diplomatic missions with allies, while acting as a highly trained pilot, that has more skill, survivabilty, combat training and experience than a vast majority of the Crayter Military. These agents will be led by one special agent who is to report to the Directer of the Intelligence Service.

External matters will have the main role of dealing with undercover, and specialist work such as gathering information and strategic movements on enemy forces, entering enemy territory and report back new finds that will assist Crayter Republic with reclaiming Tau 44, defeating Gallia Royal Navy and putting a stop to Outcast smuggling of Cardamine and Slaves.

Rank Structure
Crayter Intelligence Director - Leads Crayter Intelligence while reporting back to the President and Fleet Admiral of Crayter only, making sure duties and jobs are being completed within the intelligence service and their second in command are doing their jobs right. Has access to all ships Crayter Republic has to offer.

Deputy Director, Internal Division - Leads Internal matters only, and has to report back to Crayter Special Operative Director only, with updates of all matters, while leading all internal division agents. Has access up to cruiser-class within that all Crayter Republic has to offer.

Deputy Director, External Division - Leads external matters only, and has to report back to Crayter Special Operative Director only, with updates of all matters, while leading all external division agents. Has access up to cruiser-class within that all Crayter Republic has to offer.

Special Agent - The special agent is in charge of joint operations within their respective division of the Intelligence Service. Must report back to their Deputy Director. Has access up to gunboat-class within all that Crayter Republic has to offer.

Senior Agent - Has shown great skill in their line of specialized work, great team work, and being able to adapt to situations. The senior agent is now capable of training agents in training in their specific specialized field of work. Has access to Light Fighters, Heavy Fighters, Very Heavy Fighters, Super Heavy Fighters, Bombers, Freighters.

Agent - Having completed their two week specialized training, they have become specialized in a specific field of work. This could be counter-terrorism, dealing with nomadic materials and alien species, gathering intel. They are a fully pledge member of the Crayter Intelligence Service. Access to Light Fighters, Heavy Fighters, Very Heavy Fighters, Super Heavy Fighters and Bombers.

Agent in training - Is the newest member of the Intelligence service and is undergoing training to become specialist in a certain field. After two weeks of specialized training they will be graded and will hopefully graduate their training to become a full member of the Crayter Intelligence Service as a Agent. Access to Light Fighters, Heavy Fighters and Very Heavy Fighters.
