Nichols Upgrade Project
Good day, employees!
Today, we are beginning with the Nichols Upgrade Project. Goal of this project is to make Nichols a completely self-sustaining station. No need to import Oxygen, Water and Food anymore - we will take care of this on Nichols itself. To achieve this, we will need a good amount of deliveres and the help from the brightest heads of Sirius.
We will use our assets and institutions on Gran Canaria, on Lanzarote Station and the Vista to begin with Phase 1 - Research and Development. First of all, we will need our transports to deliver a very wide variety of goods to our bases. Once the first deliveries are done, our desk criminals can start doing their job, however we will need all deliveries to be done in order to proceed to Phase 2.
Phase 2 will contain the construction of prototypes of the components for all the modules we need. This includes the following modules:
- Oxygen Recycler
- Water Purification System
- Food Synthesizer and Hydroponics Dome
Phase 3 will be the mass production of those components and the montage of those modules on Nichols Trading Center in the Orbit of Gran Canaria. All three phases need many transport deliveries to be done. That's where you come into play, pilots. You will bring us all the stuff you can bring us. Look at the lists, check out where you can get the commodities, get us the requested amounts and continue with the next commodities.
Omicron Supply Industries will pay good money for the commodities. You will not only receive the money from our local shopkeepers, but also bonus money in the end of the month, depending on your done deliveries. Check the lists to find out how much bonus per commodity will be payed.
Not only that, but this is also a competition for partaking transports. The three most ambitious transports will receive a generous price.
This counts for all deliveries of this whole project in general. And it will count once per month.
This contract will remain OSI- internal for the entirety of January. If we notice the lack of progress, we will open this project for official sirian trading factions in February. They will be taken into account for the competition as well. If we still notice insufficient progress, we will open this to all sirian traders with good standing to Omicron Supply Industries.
In short, we will also contact the other sirian corporations in order to negotiate about technological exchange and their assistance in order to help us to achieve our goal. They will be especially helpful for Phase 1 of the project, as they will boost our progress significantly, depending on how their knowledge is. However, even without their help, we will be able to finish the research. It will just take much more time.
