While the Battleship Andromeda is by no means an OS&C-class luxury liner, it supports two mess halls - Ampelos and Elia. They are meant respectively for the standing crew of the ship and the temporary visitors on board - fighter pilots, patrol pilots and guests.

Elia is located conveniently between the docking modules and the command bridge. Reminiscent of the planetside Custodian interior design, it's furnished in a relatively austere fashion. The AI bartender serves a wide variety of different beverages and snacks.

The facility is generally open to everyone with the docking access to the Andromeda.
Icarus had departed Cadiz short time before he was pinged from the newly selected commander of the Andromeda that the battleship had left the Rhodes drydock minutes before and was ready to depart.

Andromeda was scheduled to remain for a couple of hours on the orbit of Crete so as to allow the hired crew from Cayambe and Heraklion to board the ship. He was also invited for the maiden flight from Omicron Gamma to the Omegas where the ship was meant to be deployed first.

His cruise engines roared as his ship approached Crete, eventually making out the shape of the Andromeda on the background of the planet. He sent in a docking request and a short moment later the AI stewardess informed him he was authorised.

He settled his own Titan in one of the docking modules of the Andromeda and headed out towards the bridge, in the meantime forwarding the commander's message to the other Custodi pilots. He exchanged several greetings, saluted the commander and moments later he sat in the back of Elia with a bottle of ouzo, browsing the Net on his PAD.
Theo has been gone for a few days due to his usual monthly errands around Liberty, which mostly consist of light drinking and discussions around the topic of fine tobacco. After stocking up, along the way he decided it was about time to visit the Andromeda as due to his extended vacation he wasn't able to witness her maiden flight.

Impatient as he is sometimes, Theo left Undine to take care of returning his spoils back to Heraklion while he himself dropped off at the Andromeda when they were passing by it. Given that all the formalities were taken care of long ago, he was left free to make a visit to (at least by his opinion) the most important facility aboard.

It took him a couple of wrong turns to find his way to Elia, but once he was finally there Theo seated himself at the table closest to the exit. Lighting a cigarette, he took a few quick glances around checking for any familiar faces while waiting for the AI to put out a glass of retsina for him.
