So. I used to play on here. A lot. But unfortunately, I switched my PC laptop for a sweet little Macbook Pro.

My question: given that Freelancer is a PC game, what can I do to run it on my Macbook?
To my knowledge, you can't run PC games on a Mac, unfortunately. If you want to read through this page though, it may answer your question. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_there_any_way...n_Mac_computers
You want Bootcamp, it's a Mac software that lets you dual boot newer Mac pc's with windows.
In case you are out of touch all Mac's now run on the same hardware pc's do :laugh:

Macbook Pro is already the Intel based Mac notebook, which can run Windows for sure.

The 100% option is to use Bootcamp (a Mac boot manager) to boot XP from a Windows partition.

I'm not so sure, but probably the latest versions of Parallels (executing Windows software within OS-X) or VMWare Fusion (a powerful OS-X optimized virtual machine with strong 3D support) might do the job too.

Mac's = Suck
Ask a guy on the forums named Andrew Fletcher. He's a CR colleague of mine, and I know that he uses a MAC.

I actually prefer Macs to PCs, but I simply can't afford one right now, unfortunately.
Install VMware fusion and then XP on top of that. Runs FL and most other games quite well on the macbook.
Mac's WOULD be great if you could use all the programs and games that are monopolized by the PC.
(And if they were a little cheaper =P)
Macs are just over priced laptops that are meant to look good but not run as well, can freelancer even run on a mac?
