The Commune - Silver Sun
Introduction:
With the lightning fast developments of Sirian diplomacy and the accumulation of secret projects sequestered among the mists of the nebulae and on secluded planetside outposts, the Commune felt it was being left in the dark. To shed light on the secrets of their foes and friends alike, and to blind the same to the true nature of their designs, a few intrigue savvy operatives formed the Silver Sun.
General Information:
The Silver Sun, though a relatively small cell, is a quintessential intelligence agency. What it lacks in manpower, it more than makes up with its "anything goes" attitude, the limitations of moral constraints and public image being almost nonexistant in its mode of operations. As such, the operatives of the cell are frequently tasked with everything from espionage and reconaissance, to surgically precise assassinations and terror attacks, all at the behest of their handlers and Overseer.
Though technically not part of the cell, an extensive ring of radicalized sleeper agents and demagogues are also spread out across the sector, acting on orders communicated down from the cell in an intermediary fashion. As such, the cell always has a pawn in place to help perpetuate its tireless crusade to infiltrate, weaken and destabilize the Sirian factions and governments, while at the same time providing the rest of the Commune with invaluable intel for its operations.
With age-old, tried and true methods of misdirection, the cell operatives often masquerade as harmless diplomats, envoys, and proselytizers on civilian stations, performing mock missions to throw off anyone who may be on their tail, while the rest of the agents proceed uninterrupted behind all the smoke and mirrors.

Technical information:
The Silver Sun prefers inconspicuous civilian technology on its day to day spaceborne operations, usually adjusted to better fit in with the region the agents operate in. However, in sparse combat situations, the cell brings out its specialized personal craft and fighter wings, ready to dish out punishment with the best equipment money and favors can buy.
