I want a better computer to run freelancer on and maybe other games. I have narrowed the search down to two laptops, now let's pretend they are exactly the same except for the processors

Comp 1: i7 with 4 cores/8 threads at 2.4Ghz

Comp 2: i7 with 2 cores/4 threads at 2.9 Ghz

Which would be better for FL?
biggest test is in the graphics and RAM honestly. Although the i7 would be better imo

But which i7?

Double core at 2.9ghz or Quad Core at 2.4 Ghz ?
jokes on you, Freelancer doesn't support multicore rendering anyway

lol Tongue

Based off this which comp\chipset would you go for?

http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-36...e-i7-3520M

3520 is the dual core and the 3632 is the quad core
freelancer will only use one core so you better check out performance per core and not overall , as for saying which one will be better it depends on performance and not the number of cores or frequency so..you have to give more details if you want actual advice Angel

EDIT:
Core i7 3520M for freelancer Tongue
