Subject: Libertonian incursion.

Messieurs,

A large holographic image of Vaillant sitting on his command chair appeared. We could see the old Kingdom of Gallia emblem on the back of the chair as it was not facing the screen. Suddenly, the chair turned in a fast move towards the luminous screen showing up a determined Vaillant holding a glass of wine in his right hand.

First of all, great performance for handling this tedious matter, Capitaine Majewski. Beauregard and De Gobineau have to be mentioned as well.

The presence of these spies within our borders, and especially Libertonian Intelligence is inacceptable. However the current situation forces us not to take drastic measures or reprisals against them.

Your orders are to shoot any foreigners Intelligence entities sighted in Gallia without any restriction. Make prisoners if possible and we will interrogate them. The choice of the method for this task is up to you. They will learn that Gallia isn't a tourist place.

Vaillant greeted with a gesture of the head while the holographic image was disappearing.

Subject: Hostile Rheinlander Battlecruiser

Bonjour,

Yesterday we have intercepted a Rheinland Battlecruiser in the system of Languedoc while we were acting behind the enemy lines. This vessel explained to us it was from a Rheinland battlegroup and the chaos from the civl war in Rheinland brought it to Gallia. We escorted it back to the Taus as it mentioned this sector was his next destination.

However, we encountered the same vessel in Provence today and this time we engaged it as it was clear this vessel was a spy in our space. The ship managed to resist ours till it eventually reached a base in Tau-44.

All the Marine vessels are advised to report immediately if they encounter this threat and destroy it with the assistance of our warships.

Subject: Skirmish with the Maquis in Lorraine

Bonjour,

La Marine Nationale Gauloise victoriously defeated two Maquis battle-cruisers this afternoon in the Lorraine system. Their attempt at disruption ended with both vessels destroyed at the hand of the response force mustered by the vessels in the area.

The first sign of trouble was detected by Battleship Vernissieux's radar officers, who picked up one intruder in its vicinity. I immediately deployed from their hangar aboard my bomber to reconnoitre the area. It wasn't long before a first problematic vessel appeared on my contacts list. Engaging them in a chase, I realized I was being led into a second vessel. As I veered into a closer pass, I identified both ships as refurbished Gallic battle-cruisers, broadcasting Maquis nonsense in the radio channels.

As I was circling them and signalling for reinforcements, battleship Sombre Destin arrived from the Burgundy jump gate and we engaged the miscreants, focusing our attention on the Révolutionnaire. I came at them again and again, keeping their shields down, as Sombre Destin was taking the brunt of the assault. The combined heat from the two vessels was starting to make a dent in the MNG battleship, even though they were taking some heavy damage themselves.

It's at this moment that we were joined by the battleship Grande Harmonie, which allowed us to split the attackers and send them on the defensive. Our new ally made short work of what was left of Le Brethon, whist Sombre Destin and I kept the Révolutionnaire in check.

Both vessels were destroyed; MNG suffered no loss. The Maquis crews were retrieved and delivered for processing on Montbrison.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I have been impressed with the swift response to the recent Maquisard problem, so I have been relatively laid back in my PERSONAL INITIATIVE, but it seems I am finally needed. There are so many idiots supporting this Maquis bomb operation, Corsicans, Sirians, the paisants themselves, it just goes on. I have proof of at least a couple Sirians implictly involved with this operation, we should make the necessary political maneuvers to put them in their place.

Submitting flight log from my recent sortie. Following on suspicions from La Securite, I moved (while the rest of the Nimes Garrison was asleep.. pah) to intercept some trouble in the core worlds. I eventually caught up with the Bureau's flagship, blockading the Champagne-Burgundy corridor against what was apparently the issue, a Corsair Battleship flying unauthorized and violating Gallic sovereignty laws. La Securite was not amused, and when the ship, noncomplying, reversed around and into the side of the Burgundian gate, a maneuver which saw their ship broadsided by my torpedos and Renaissance's heavy battery. By the time we disposed of this problem, additional support had arrived in the form of the battleship Pierre... who promptly received a trade lane right-of-way violation from one of the Seigneurs. This unmasked a deeper problem, a chronic lack of DISCIPLINE among this ship's crew, so as expected, I took it upon myself to correct this issue and place the CORE VALUES above unrestricted baguette consumption by the Pierre's crew. The comm logs and camera shots will explain the rest.

EVIDENCE

La Securite removing obstruction.
