Hudson Reporting:

Logging some recent activity. I've been managing to slip in and out of New London between waves of Gallic attacks. They have been letting up in frequency at least, and casualties seem high still on both sides.

I've made a few incognito trips to the Omegas and to the Cologne system as well. As to Omega-49, we picked up a high number of large engine signatures from long range, as relayed from the Stirling. I took a lighter stealth craft, as I was otherwise untasked at the time, and made the hike out to take a look. I wound up making several sorties in and out of the GC high orbit vicinity in order to try to pick up on some radio chatter. I did manage to pick up a great deal of conversation among several Red Hessian Army vessels, members of Battlegroup Auxesia, the SCRA, a Gaian vessel, an IRG colony ship, and later a Zoner vessel bearing the same name as a recent media persona (may have been press). Some discussed expected malcontent, with the most anti-Bretonian discourse coming from the RHA. They seemed somewhat determined to stir negative sentiment. Surprisingly, no ABF vessels were sighted.

Stealth Espionage of Omega-49 gathering

After having returned to New London, I also took advantage of an opportunity to make a pass through the Cologne system in regards to rumors of new access through there to Gallia. I never got the chance to do much exploring, but as I pulled in towards Heisenberg Research Facility, an IDF vessel was pulling in to dock. I returned to Bretonia without incident. In conjunction with previous intelligence, and a later sweep we made, it is confirmed this route connects to a Gallic borderworld system, and can be used by all ship classes to traverse. This may be a disturbing development indeed.

Gallic Trader Sighted in Cologne

Last action to report is a sweep that I, Agent James Skirka and Agent Sarah Mountbatten embarked upon. This patrol to Cologne and the 'Zurich' System was done in cooperation with the BDM. However for obvious reasons, no further acknowledgement of that arrangement should be made. However, the BDM Director took us out there personally, and expressed genuine concern over this new development, and a great deal of angst towards Ageira over trade lane technology issues.

To our surprise, just after our rendezvous in Omega-3, we passed into Omega-7 only to be confronted by a Wilde vessel, a Scorpion class gunboat, holding an OS&C luxery liner hostage, at minimal hull integrity. They offered the hostage up in exchange for credits. We deferred to the BDM's jurisdiction, and concurred that the chances of infection among the survivors was too great to allow for any contact. He chose to engage the vessel, and the liner was destroyed. We of course assisted and the Wilde gunboat was also destroyed. At least that pest won't be bothering local traders again.

After a sweep out to the new jumphole connection, which he alluded may have indications of being 'man made', we entered into the Zurich system and split up to quickly survey the immediate vicinity. Once the data was collected, we doubled back the way we came. This allowed us to confirm what previous intel had also concluded, with thanks to the BDM for taking such initiative.

But, just in the periphery of Stuttgart, RHA attackers showed up, a small squadron. This was unfortunate, as we'd hoped to avoid such detection. But we are quite sure no connection to our presence was made, and they were more concerned with attacking the BDM director. We then used discretion to withdraw without arousing any suspicion. It is not known the fate of the BDM vessel U-101, or the Director. After this, we made it back up to New London safely for debrief. Guncams enclosed.

Rheinland Patrol (that didn't happen)

Hudson Reporting:

Didn't think I'd be reporting in again so soon, but a few things have gone down that warrant it. After being instructed to reach out again to the Apostatas, we made arrangements for a field meeting to touch base with their leadership, exchange information and deliver them some funds to contribute towards their operations. This seemed like a good opportunity to beef them up so they can be well set up for helping us in Omega-49. Not only that, but they claimed to have made some important discoveries in the Omicrons that we would find interesting. We tried arranging to bring a researcher but it was decided we might be better off taking a look before bringing in an outside party.

We met up with them at Freeport 9, and followed them across Omicron Kappa and Delta to 'Omicron Lost', an even more remote system where human exploration meets the Nomads. Although already charted in the past, some new features were noted. They took us to an anomaly at the southern pole of the gas Giant Planet Moros. Likely it's a vortex allowing for atmospheric entry. Still, they believed no human design could handle entering so we kept a safe distance and took basic scans. They hadn't confirmed it is used by Nomads, or if it originated with them, or something else.
Planet Moros polar anomaly

Then we moved to a collection of debris that resembled an old station mixed with some random ship parts. Parts of it were powered and active, and they were leaning towards the liklihood its an AI construct. Gammu AI comes to mind, but we'd need an expert present to safely communicate with the station and ascertain that.
Unknown AI(?) structure

Their last discovery was of a spatial anomaly on the other side of the system. To their surprise though, it was gone. There was no sign of it anymore, and it left us with a bit of a mystery. They claimed to have data proving it was there, so we started getting nervous and began to pack things up.

At that time, we all received a subspace burst from Dr. Lexa Moreno from Omicron Delta about the discovery of another anomaly back over in that system, and that she was assembling a volunteer expedition to enter and investigate. We immediately made the trek back to Delta where we found several Core and Zoner vessels already gathered, and Dr. Moreno in her Corvo.
Rendezvous with deep space expedition

Although unexpected, Agent Skirka and I, and the Apostatas didn't hesitate to offer assistance to the Doctor and joined the escort. After a large group gathered, we all entered and wound up in a strange, and as far as i know, previously unknown system. According to stellar cartography, cofirmed by Dr. Moreno, the system was far from Sirius, on the periphery space between our galaxy and another.

More anomalies were discovered at a nearby gas giant and we secured the area while the Doctor made scans. Without want to risk leaving these unknown phenomena for likely use by the Nomads, she set to work closing the anomalies one by one using some kind of energy field projection technology I'm not familiar with.

One by one though, Nomad ships did arrive suddenly, and in large numbers, when we attempted to close these 'fissures'. Us humans did stick it out quite well though, despite a lot of frayed nerves. Several battles ensued as we hopped from one to the other. Eventually we did close them all and I believe most ships survived, and any jettisoned pilots were recovered by the large vessels.

At that time, the Doctor informed us the anomaly we arrived through was dangerously close to collapsing, potentially leaving us stranded there...indefinitely. That would have been interesting, with the mix of ships we had out there, as to how long we would have survived over the long term. Thankfully, we did manage to make it out in time, and arrived safely back to Delta. There, Dr. Moreno shared with us much of the Scientific Data that she had accumulated though here scans, and all parties took copies of the valuable data before departing. With the alien threat now lowered, the motly crew of various factions that had arrived broke up, and some even began to get hostile because they had converged to investigate. As we departed, we last saw a Coalition capital vessel get into a skirmish with a Libertonian battleship and Core capital asset.

LXP-48N Expedition photolog #1

LXP-48N Expedition photolog #2

We figured it best to head back to the Apostatus base of operations. There we each received some rare biosamples of Cryo Organisms and an small quantity of the lesser understood Azurite Gas. I also delivered to them 200 million credits in aid to help them maintain their operations and perhaps purchase some mining ships. We took some leave and then made our way back to Bretonia on our own time. Since we didn't have the ability in our craft to carry much of the data we were offered, the Doctor was kind enough to forward us our copies (100 standard units each), which should bring us some excellent opportunities in the future. Also , the Cryo Organisms and Azurite Gas samples can be made available at Sunderland Research Station for SIS/BAF R&D, for further study of military applications.
Aid Transfer and Samples

All in all, much of those events were unexpected but resulted in a successful journey and meeting with our allies the Apostatas. The entire trip may have yielded a great deal of data that might help with the war effort. For the meantime, I'll be in the vicinity of New London to stay in close range of the neural net.

Subject: Liberty Navy incident in Dublin
Encryption: Secured

Message:

During a patrol through Dublin with agent James Skirka, we found two unauthorized Liberty Navy warships near the Battleship Hood, after doing some questions regarding the presence of the Liberty Navy in unauthorized Bretonian space with those vessels, the captain of the one of the ships stated that were in a reconnaissance operation looking for "infected" LSF officers, we barely believed those affirmations and since there was no authorization from the Armed Forces to deploy such vessels in Dublin, they were told to go back to New London at once several times, by me and agent James Skirka, to avoid any possible incident with the Mollys, since we already have enough to deal with the Gallic invasion and the Zoners in Omega-49. Both warships refused to comply and a fight escalated, we had to engage back, a moment later agent Zachery Statham came to bring some assistance.

Log recording of the encounter:
[20.12.2018 06:50:46] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: Well now.
[20.12.2018 06:50:55] LN-Hash: hi there
[20.12.2018 06:50:58] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: Captains of LN vessels, cut the engines please.
[20.12.2018 06:51:08] LN-Hash: who the heck are you\
[20.12.2018 06:51:26] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: I am an officer of the SIS, and i am the one doing questions here.
[20.12.2018 06:51:37] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: What buisness brings the Navy capital ships to Dublin?
[20.12.2018 06:51:40] LN-Hash: i dont think so we have our own orders
[20.12.2018 06:52:08] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: I don't see any permission granted from our part, so, doubt that is true.
[20.12.2018 06:52:57] LN-Hash: permission or no permissiong we are going to continue looking for the missing ships
[20.12.2018 06:53:06] [SIS]-Jupiter: What missing ships?
[20.12.2018 06:53:30] LN-Hash: the LSF is being inficted
[20.12.2018 06:53:32] LN-Hash: again
[20.12.2018 06:53:42] LN-Hash: its our duty to clean things out
[20.12.2018 06:53:51] [SIS]-Jupiter: And..what..the Liberty navy thinks they can just walk in and do what they like?
[20.12.2018 06:53:57] LN-Hash: i do hope you have nothing to do with LSF
[20.12.2018 06:54:05] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: And bring warship vessels for a recon mission? Quite big vessels for that i would say.
[20.12.2018 06:54:23] LN-Hash: due to the last war we had many allies questioing the motives
[20.12.2018 06:54:34] LN-Hash: and we are going to look for some mssing ships
[20.12.2018 06:54:44] LN-Hash: good day sir
[20.12.2018 06:54:46] [SIS]-Jupiter: We are questioning your motives now. This is Bretonian space.
[20.12.2018 06:54:57] LN-Hash: we are aware
[20.12.2018 06:55:13] [SIS]-Jupiter: And so you ought to be aware that you are subject to our laws.
[20.12.2018 06:55:25] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: And we already have enough trouble with Zoners in Omega-49 and Royal Navy in New London to even deal with some incident-
[20.12.2018 06:55:39] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: -with Mollys due to some Navy unoauthorized operation in Dublin.
[20.12.2018 06:55:42] [SIS]-Jupiter: Exactly.
[20.12.2018 06:56:03] LN-Hash: we are peacful we dont shoot at anyone but only in defence in this war
[20.12.2018 06:56:14] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: So we will ask gently to return to New London, and contact with the Armed Forces to do a well organized recon operation.
[20.12.2018 06:56:26] LN-Hash: last time I heeared Bretonia didnt pay the pilots who helped them against the invaders
[20.12.2018 06:56:36] [SIS]-Jupiter: Come again?
[20.12.2018 06:57:02] LN-Hash: i was one of those pilots who havnt got paid for protecting the armada
[20.12.2018 06:57:21] LN-Hash: but this is secendary agenda
[20.12.2018 06:57:27] LN-Hash: anyway
[20.12.2018 06:57:32] LN-Hash: anything i can help you wiht?
[20.12.2018 06:57:43] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: Thats something you should discuss with the Liberty Republic, not Bretonia government.
[20.12.2018 06:57:58] LN-Hash: you are part of it arnt you?
[20.12.2018 06:58:32] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: I serve the Bretonian Armed Forces, not the Liberty Navy.
[20.12.2018 06:58:42] LN-Hash: i know that
[20.12.2018 06:58:52] LN-Hash: any other news i didnt know?
[20.12.2018 06:59:14] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: And yes, there's something you both could do for us, leave Dublin space at once, to avoid further incidents with the locals.
[20.12.2018 06:59:32] LN-Hash: we going to look for more 10 min
[20.12.2018 06:59:39] [SIS]-Jupiter: The hell you are.
[20.12.2018 06:59:44] LN-Hash: and we will be on our way
[20.12.2018 07:00:03] [SIS]-Jupiter: Dublin is one of the few systems not open to the Liberty navy unless engaing the GRN
[20.12.2018 07:00:04] LN-Hash: dont like your tone bretonian
[20.12.2018 07:00:17] [SIS]-Jupiter: This is my house boy, I don't care if you like my tone or not.
[20.12.2018 07:00:46] LN-Hash: i will conduct my search for more 10 min if you want to stop me you will have to shoot me
[20.12.2018 07:01:00] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: Well.
[20.12.2018 07:01:06] [SIS]-Jupiter: We will if we must.
[20.12.2018 07:01:16] [SIS]-Jupiter: we would rather not.
[20.12.2018 07:01:19] [SIS]-Jupiter: Of course.
[20.12.2018 07:01:20] LN-Hash: i would prefer peacful solution
[20.12.2018 07:01:32] [SIS]-Jupiter: As would we, but the law is absolute.
[20.12.2018 07:01:42] LN-Hash: have it your way com out
[20.12.2018 07:02:00] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: The peaceful solution is that you both get out the warships now, not in ten minutes.
[20.12.2018 07:02:18] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: And if you need to do a recon operation we will gladly help, but get those two vessels out of here.
[20.12.2018 07:02:25] [SIS]-Jupiter: Liberty Navy ships you are in Violation of Bretonian Law and the various treaties the Liberty Government has agreed to.
[20.12.2018 07:02:47] [SIS]-Jupiter: As such you will remove your vessels or face the Bretonian courts and Justice.
[20.12.2018 07:02:48] LN-Hash: come with us if you want to escort
[20.12.2018 07:03:13] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: Thats not the way.
[20.12.2018 07:03:24] LN-Hash: that was your last warning
[20.12.2018 07:03:43] [SIS]-Alex.Clyde: So be it.

Infiltration into Gallic Royal Navy failed. Enemy security discovered unexplainable holes in my cover identity's background. I received sufficient warning and successfully exfiltrated to an SIS safehouse before I could be arrested. My time since then has been spent recovering from facial reconstruction surgery and reestablishing my previous cover identity.

As my identity as former Crayter Military officer Tobias Knight remains intact, I have chosen to use my Crayter Military back pay from that assignment to purchase an old IMG transport. The ship is the Janus, registered to Knight Resources. The ship and cover identity should allow me to move unnoticed behind enemy lines, as well as provide the SIS an additional revenue stream.

Today I plotted a trade circuit that took me through all the major Gallic core systems. I took the opportunity to scan the local Battleships assigned to static defence duties. There are only three in Gallic space and one on the Kusari border in Tau-53. All four ships are of obsolete classes. The scans are not too in-depth, partly to avoid arousing suspicion, and partly because of this ship's limited scanning capabilities. The information I was able to glean is attached to this report.

Corsairs Armada Thwarted in Omicron Theta:

Good news to report. I've just returned from a long range patrol to the Omicrons again. This time it was to assist our friends in the Apostatas against an attack by a Creten armada. It seems the Custodi was behind organizing the attack. Somehow their base location was discovered and they were forced to put out a distress call. Luckily many volunteer forces arrived in the system to back them up, and formed a formidable defense force. A large fleet of Corsairs dreadnoughts arrived within a day and began laying siege to the installation Puerto de Nueva Hispania.

I observed from above and relayed tactical data back to the defense fleet that was assembling at a rendezvous point not far away. Once assembled, they moved in. Much to our surprise, the attacking fleet withdrew to a fallback position and jumped away to safety. They tried to approach from another angle, but the defenders caught up with them. Their lines broke, and their fleet gave way. Some harrassing attacks occured since, but it seems they have a decent chance of holding out against further attacks, due to the support of the local population and friendly forces. I stayed to observe until things died down and it was safe to slip out of the area.

Battle in Omicron Theta Guncams

GRN Battleship Beuvray eliminated:

The only other thing to note was found in passing the Southampton wreck junction. If not already documented, I am pleased to confirm that the Gallic Royal Navy battleship Beuvray was indeed lost recently during the battles to reinforce New London with Liberty Siege Cruisers. The wreck is now clearly visable not far from the wreck of the York.

I'll be between New London and the Resistance Base on Leeds if anyone needs me.

Enemy Activy in Omega-49

I've recieved a communiqué from one of our assets that was flying through Omega-49 recently. They reported some comm transmissions involving the Hessians, some generic chatter mostly showing their intent to be highly involved there. Most noteable was the presence of an MRG ship there, and report of an Order battlegroup with possible jump capability operating in the system. I have attached a link to the transmission and raw data.

Asset Report from Omega-49

Aggressive MLA vessel sighted in Dublin System

While active in Leeds I recieved a comm from a BAF vessel, the BAF|HMS-Altheling, commanded by Commander Eva Flameheart. They had recieved reports from the Liberty Siege cruiser Mesa that tracked an MLA gunboat from New London, and learned it to be a source of harassment of local passers by in Dublin. They sought a BAF escort to bring light of the situation to the Armed Forces and get emergency pemission to pursue. So, I launched to rendezvous with them in Dublin and we went ot confront the ship, that was just slipping away to the south side when we got there. We pursued and managed to corner the vessel near Arranmore. After some banter, they made it clear they'd be gunning for Bretonian miners soon. We tried to reason with them but we recieved the usual Molly stubborn and rebellious attitude. Something for us to keep watch of. Also, on a side note, Commander Flameheart sends her greetings along to Agent Skirka, who is known to her.

MLA Gunboat McKenney

I'm current leaving Dublin. This vessel may use geurrilla tactics, we'll have to leave it to the BAF if they can divert any vessels to increase patrols in the Gold Ore field.

Threat Detected in Leeds Orbit

Several satellites of unknown origin have been confirmed as having been deployed to high altitude geosynchronous orbit over the Planet Leeds. I double checked my records (Guncam Picture #29) and noticed that I had taken some flyby guncams of one of the objects weeks ago, and had not followed up on it.

I went back under the protection of stealth and got in close to catalogue the objects. Using infrared and radiographics I was able to determine that the objects are indeed powered by some kind of contained powersource within who's output seems to be capable of powering a large scale weapon. Certainly these are not weather monitoring satellites. It is also possible they may be intended to jam communications and scanners. At this time we should assume they are an enemy weapon system of some kind.

Regardless, they seem to have been deployed to interfere with operations on the ground and traffic supplying the Resistance Forces there. I fear that this move may be planned in conjunction with the Royal Navy's recent push towards New London. If they are capable of high output weaponry, they could pose an imminent threat to ground positions. In lieu of this, I'd like to request an NEMP strike on the satellites so that we can eliminate them and their threat before its too late.

We should probably put the Resistance HQ on high alert and have them prepare to evacuate for relocation in the event we pick up sign an attack might be imminent.

Threat from Gallic Jump Gate

In conjunction with the potential threat from the Leeds orbital satellites, it has become apparent that the newly completed Jump Gate built by Gallia that reconnects to New London has become a major threat.

We may have been unable to prevent its construction, but we can still destroy or heavily damage the infrastructure with superweapons. With this connection disabled, we can count that a large amount of resupply vessels and reinforcements will be significantly slowed down on their way to the front lines in New London.

As long as the Armoury permits, I move that we follow up with a secondary NEMP strike to the Gallic gate A.S.A.P. in order to help relieve pressure on the BAF.

I await further orders. If I can get the go head, we can outfit a small squadron with NEMP devices immediately and begin planning the strikes.

This Bernhard reporting from Planet Sydney, I will keep it short:

approximately two days ago I have been a viewer, like other traders in Omega-49 system, of nomad warform "Ish'Tar" that have came to Omega-49 system, like I said before, two days ago. The Apahanta with Captain Ezreal Veriga was there with us and.. I will say that this was interesting. Mr. Vertiga "communicated" with it and send it back where it came from to Omicrons. I was trying to.. ask him what he was seeing, but executive officer said that he didn't hear me.

This was the most strangest event in my life. I have attached logs and one guncam.

Good evening Ladys and gentelemen,

This is Officer Hanna Wyghtham with an encountering of Unioners in the Dublin system. They told me they were flying to the Hood to race in a cup. I told them I will escort them there and have an eye on them. I flew the first race agains the Unioner racer in order to avoid any negative attitudes against me. During the time the Unioner flew the other races I quickly checked the comms if they have a Visa, but they hadn't, so I escorted them out of Bretonia. Oh, I forgot to mention a Royal Navy vessel keeping safe distance toward us, so I didn't mind him this time and I kept the eyes on the Unioners. At the end of my patrol I helped an OSI freighter to find a location that sells some Gold Ore.
I will attach a Guncamshot and the audio logs below for you.

Good night then.
