Biography:

Callum was born into a wealthy, influential and very prominent family on Planet Cambridge. His father was the CEO of a large pharmaceutical company, and his mother served on the Planet'€™s civil planning division. His sister, Stephanie Hamilton, was in line to take over control of the pharmaceutical company before her untimely death in a terrorist attack that destroyed the shuttle she was taking to a conference. As the next in line, Callum was expected to take over, but instead chose a military life. For years he had watched the vessels take off and arrive at the local spaceport, driving him to enlist in the Civil defense force on Cambridge. For this his parents totally ostracized him from all family affairs, and cut him off from their support. After completing his recruit and officer training at the military college on Cambridge, he is applying to the Liberty Navy to leave Cambridge, Bretonia and his family for what he believes to be a respectable, honest profession. While he realizes it will not be an easy journey, he welcomes the challenge it brings along.

Name: Dr. Thomas Grayson
Age: 28
Birthplace: Leeds
Height: 6'2
Weight: 170 pounds
Relatives: William Grayson, Sara Grayson
Previous Fields of Work: Bretonian Citizens Army, 2nd Leeds Hospital
Experience: Combat Medic, Hosptial medicae.
Timezone: US Eastern
Skype: username08

Bio: I am a doctor with a bad history with wars, it seems. I worked at the 2nd Leeds Hospital for the beginning of my career, but when the war started with Kusari I switched to assist with war casualties. I was stationed on Battleship Derby, trying to patch together younger and younger bodies to just send them back to get shot at again. I was notified of a new military branch opening up, called te Civilian's Army. It seems as if the Leeds workforce was taking up arms to assist the Armed Forces. I took the job as they needed a doctor. It was difficult, as I was told I needed to be a field doctor, a pilot that both fought and assisted the wounded. It was difficult learning to shoot the enemy, knowing that someone was going to bee missed or someone was going to be injured.

When the threat of the new house, Gallia, came to light, I was on operation at Harris. I was on the Citizens's army field hospital, the HMS Saint Anne. Harris was ignored, but the Gallic forces were taking on both the Armed forces an the Naval Forces of Kusari. We were cut off, and forced to flee. We were unable to move back to Leeds or Edinburgh, so we moved into Kusari. We didn't know what was going on, so we were forced to move the Saint Anne and it's few escorts through Kusari space unnoticed and down to Liberty. Once in Liberty, the Saint Anne was put into a shipyard where it was needed to be repair.

With our lines cut from Bretonia and learning that Gallia were beating down Bretonia and Kusari hard, the Citizen's Army wing I was with disbanded. I found work with the Liberty Navy as a doctor, but found that Liberty had problems with Rheinland just as bad as Bretonia had with Kusari. Even though I would like to continue my medical work, it seems capable combat pilots are wanted more. Even though I am from Bretonia, I believe I will do well assisting the Navy.

Name: Ryan Gross
Age: 20
Birthplace: Manhattan
Gender: Male
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 165
Relatives: Mother and Father have passed away, Sister Sarah resides on Manhattan.
Previous Work: Mainly freelance work for the Liberty Navy, along with some work for the other Liberty corporations.
Experience: See above. No military training, only what I've learned through my freelance work.
Timezone: UTC -6
S-KYP3: RyanGross109

Bio:

Born on Manhattan, Ryan's been alive long enough to see the greatness of Liberty, along with its darker sides. Through his own endeavours and some funding from his now deceased parents, Ryan was able to purchase a cheap ship. Thus began his life as a freelancer.

Though Ryan started out doing smaller deliveries throughout New York, he soon realized that the money, and fun, was in the bounties which were put out for the destruction of pirate ships. After earning enough money, Ryan was able to get a combat capable ship and proceeded to run missions for a few years.

One day, Ryan received a mission from one of his Liberty Navy contacts. According to the contact, the Liberty Navy had received anonymous intel that there was a local pirate leader in the Texas system who would be traveling with a very light escort. The LPI being busy elsewhere and the mission not requiring the Navy's force, Ryan took on the mission and soon departed to the area the intel provided.

Upon arriving, Ryan was in for a huge surprise. The intel was false, a trap set up by Rheinland Military units. They were hoping to engage outnumbered Liberty forces, a freelancer certainly wasn't what they were looking for. However, Ryan was a sort of loose end, they couldn't just let him go as he would tip off the Liberty Navy. Ryan didn't have any chance of making it out alive, but he did his best to avoid enough damage long enough to get a distress call out.

It wasn't long before Ryan's hull fell apart, Ryan being 'safely' jettisoned out of the exploding ship. Ryan had done his best to broadcast the transmission, but whether or not anyone had been able to pick it up was his concern.

Luckily for Ryan, the contact which gave him the mission hadn't fully fallen for the false intel. Just as the Rheinland ships were going to tractor in Ryan's escape pod, multiple Liberty Navy vessels appeared and began to engage the Rheinland ships. The tables turned, the Rheinland ships began a fast retreat, entirely forgetting about their pray which lie stranded between the volleys of shots between the two groups.

Ryan soon felt the pull of a Liberty Navy vessel's tractor and was soon in safe hands. His ship, however, was gone. Almost all of his money was invested into it, leaving Ryan with a small amount of cash and his first ship, which still sat in a Manhattan hangar.

Ryan returned to running freelance missions for the Liberty Forces, though less profitable ones now that hes stuck with a far older ship. Thankful for their aid, and being tired of the freelancer life, Ryan has applied to the Liberty Navy with the hopes of joining their ranks.

Captain Rachel Baker here, head of Recruitment & Retention for the Liberty Navy.

Applicants [color=#FFFFFF]THOMAS GRAYSON
and RYAN GROSS: Both of you are hereby ACCEPTED into service with the Liberty Navy Primary Fleet. You are to report to Recruit Training and Flight School at West Point Academy. Upon completion of Flight School you will likely be assigned an Executioner Heavy Fighter, to fly on a probationary basis. I look forward to serving with both of you and hope that your transition into Military service goes well.

Additionally, Doctor Grayson, seeing as you mean to potentially give your life in defending the Republic of Liberty, might I suggest you visit your nearest Immigration Services office and obtain a Libertonian Citizenship before you leave for Recruit Training. The last the we'd need here is for an Immigration agent to haul you off for deportation during your service to the Navy. Ah, and luckily for you, I doubt you'll be expected to perform medical duties akin to what you saw in Bretonia..unless of course, you sign up for that here as well. In any event, I'm sure you'll make an excellent Primary Fleet officer.

Also, Mister Gross, It sounds like you've been through quite a lot, I certainly hope your time in uniform will go better than what you experienced as a Freelancer, again let me reiterate that I hope your transition into Military Service goes without error. I'm sure you'll do fine here.

ALL OTHER APPLICANTS: Please send me your questionnaire results if you wish to proceed to the next stage in the Recruitment process, If you fail to do so within the week, your applications will be denied.

„West Point .. here we are.“ Jim sighed as he stepped of the transport and onto the station. The Navy, his last resort – no way life could take him down any further. Jim's eyes sweeped the arrival hall. „Hey, dandy!“ he shouted to a young ensign in uniform, all polished and cleaned up. „Where do I sign up?“. „Uh, over there.“ the ensign replied and pointed over to a row of counters, startled by the casual behaviour, and then dismissed the tall, red-haired Libertonian with an annoyed grunt. Not spending any more thoughts on him, Jim stepped to the counter with what he considered to be the shortest line. Hours passed until he finally got to see the woman behind the desk. She seemed to be in her early thirties, brunette, shoulder-long hair. „Good ..“ he hestiated a bit. „.. Evening, I suppose, Miss. Is this the place to sign up for shooting Rheinlanders?“ „If by that you mean 'Is this the place to pledge yourself to the service of the Liberty Navy, you are right, Mister ..“ - „.. Corey. Jim Corey, or just Jim. I suppose you will load up my record now? Don't pay attention to those lousy Interspace notes in there, those suits wouldn't know a good pilot if one kicked them in the butt – which I didn't do, of course.“ - „We'll see about that. Please fill out this form in the meantime.“ The woman briefly smiled at him before typing his name into her neural net link.

Report on the Crowley-Bar incident, May 16th , 812, by Officer Brown, J.: It was the evening of May the 16th . Officer Mendez and I were on patrol in Sector 8, when we passed Crowley-Bar, a local tavern which usually serves Synthale. It is not the best place to hang around – a lot of shady characters. We heard screams, and went inside to see what's happening. When we entered the bar, severel bystanders snuck out, so we had free vision on the scene: there were two men in a fight, James Corey and Dwaine Gibbs, both later arrested. They were so intertwined in their beatings that it was hard to differ one from the other. Officer Mendez and I attempted to part the combatants, but it wasn't easy. Before we could end the fighting though, Dwaine Gibbs drew a knife and stabbed James Corey in the gut. Didn't look pretty. After that, Gibbs did not resist arrest any further. We immediately called an ambulance, and then took Gibbs in for questioning. It appeared the men had a fight about whose mother was the greater whore. They both got drunk and the fight got out of hand. We'll let the lawyers handle the rest.

Addendum: May 18th, 812, by Officer Brown, J.: We checked back with the clinic. James Corey is stable. We brought a screen and a holocam to shoot a picture for his file. He's got a scar on his abdomen now, will probably never heal – useful for identification purposes.

End of: Report on the Crowley-Bar incident, may 16th, 812, by Officer Brown, J.

Interview on the Sector 8 shoot-out, July 23rd, 815; Interviewing Officer: Gordon, T.:

Gordon, T.: Are you aware of and agree to the audio-documentation of this interview?
Corey, J.: I am, and I do.
Gordon, T.: This is Officer Thomas Gordon, interviewing James Corey on the Sector 8 shoot-out, is that correct?
Corey, J.: Correct.
Gordon, T.: Mr. Corey was present at Union Square as a wittness when the shooting began, is that correct?
Corey, J.: *sighs* You know it is.
Gordon, T.: Please, Mr. Corey, tell me what happened.
Corey, J.: My father was home, on shore leave. My mother always celebrates those days, and she wanted to cook some real food not some Synth Paste junk. So she sent my father and me to the food store on Union Square. There was no sign of trouble yet. We picked up what we needed, and then were ready to pay. When we were standing at the checkout, I remembered that we forgot the mustard, so I went to the back of the shop to get it. That's when some thugs, Rogues probably, entered the shop. They made it quite clear that they intended to rob the shop and everyone in it. They had guns, and everything. My father tried to talk to them, to defuse the situation, but that just made them more aggressive. To make things worse, they appeared to have been followed by Xenos or some other vigilantes, and they just started shooting. I got down in time, but my father and the clerk were standing right in the middle of it. I really can't remember anything past that, until the police came.
Gordon, T.: Thanks, Mr. Corey. I know, this must be hard for you.
Corey, J.: I don't need your charity, officer. Can I go now?
Gordon, T.: Yes, Mr. Corey. Stop recording.

Thanks. Charles“

Application Form:

. . . loading file . . .
. . . opening file: Interspace Commerce: Corey, James, psychological evaluation, by Richard, M. PhD and Peters, H. PhD:

September 15th, 811: James Corey seems to be very normal for someone of his age. He is psychological stable and had a good childhood. His motivation to fly for Interspace should provide a solid base for his success.

July 25th, 815: I talked to James about the death of his father, two days ago. He's shaken, naturally. I think, deeply he blames himself for the death of his father, a common reaction. That is not true, of course – we will have to work on this in several sessions to make him realize that it was not at all his fault.

December, 14th, 815: I .. I can't continue this record any longer. James and I are now closer than before, and I see him as something more than a friend. His recent actions have made me realize that. I'm handing the psychological record of Courey, James over to Dr. Harold Peters.

March 13th, 816: Well, when Dr. Martha Richard handed me over James Corey as a patient, I didn't know what to expect. Mr. Corey has acted unbelievable irresponsible in the last few weeks. It may be a phase caused by the death of his father, but if it continues, IS must be ready to take serious steps in response to this.

November 7th, 818: It has started again. Mr Corey is endangering himself, his wingmen and the transports by acting absolutely irresponsible. Last week, he ordered his fighters into the Silverton Asteroid field to pursue some Xenos, leaving an unarmed transport behind, even though it is widely known that the Xenos hide a base somewhere in the field. My recommendation is to relieve Mr Corey of his duties, and to find out what is causing these outbreaks, before putting him into a Startracker again.

November 9th, 818: IS followed my recommendation to suspend Mr Corey for a while. Unfortunately, he didn't take it so well, and left the corporation.
This is the last entry in his psychological record.

„Well, Mister Corey …“ the brunette said. „... you've got quite a file there.“ She smiled vaguely and awaited his response. „Well, as I said, don't pay any attention to those Interspace suits. They have no idea what good pilots like me are made of. And the Navy can always use good and experienced pilots, isn't that true?“ - „Well, yes, sure, but ...“ - „Look, just be an angel and forward this to the person who decides who gets in and who doesn't, yeah?“ - „Well, Mister Corey, why do you want to join anyways?“ - „I'm looking for a job. The Navy is looking for pilots. It's as easy as that. I hear it's good money, and I'd much rather serve Liberty than anyone else.“ - „Well, I'll show this to my superiors, but no promises.“ the woman said, shutting down the neural net comlink. „That's more than I had expeceted. It really is.“

Name: Alisha Tucker
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Planed Denver, Colorado
Height: 5'7''
Weight: 164 pounds
Relatives:
  • Marcus Tucker (Father)
  • Lucille Tucker (Mother)

Previous Fields of Work: Transport fighter escort member for several groups
Experience: Knowledge about certain security matters concerning the escort of an convoy.
Timezone: GMT +1
Skype: amelia.berry20

Biography:

Alisha Tucker was born on Planet Denver in a middle class family. Her father was working for a trading organization, basically to get enough money to supply the family with food and all other necessery things to make a mediocre living. Alisha's mother, Lucille Tucker, was a housewife. In her freetime, Lucille often went out to bars to work there as an aid to get additional income for the family. Lucille took Alisha with her when she went to the bar, so she could be able to work and take care of Alisha both at the same time. Alisha was 10 years old at this time and her father disliked the whole idea to take Alisha to a bar. Without further ado, Marcus Tucker, Alisha's father, managed to convince Lucille that the bar had an bad influence for their daughter. Thus Marcus took Alisha with him on his daily transport missions. Alisha was 15 years old when she was finally on the her first trip on a transport, together with her father. During the trip, her father teached Alisha all things regarding the trade, finance and escort duties. Marcus' dream was that Alisha would one day take the command of an trade vessel. However, Alisha was never into flying large vessels, she always preferred to be in a small vessel, where she could be alone. She did not like to deal with too many people. Since her childhood she had always been shy and restrained. It probably had something to do in the place where she was born and reared. Nevertheless, Alisha had always an interest in the escort duties that were practised on each convoy. Hence, on her 18th birthday, she was, for her first time, on an escort vessel as birthday gift from her father. She was assigned to a small wing, where she was ordered to follow the leader on the escort. The leader of the escort wing was impressed of Alisha's abilities and offered her a permanent work in the convoy as an escort member. Alisha did not hesitate and accepted this offer and was since then an member of the security wing for the organization. Her father was slightly disappointed that Alisha did not follow the footsteps of her father. But he was glad that Alisha had success in her life and found something that she wanted and liked.

After several years, Alisha decided to try something else. Her current job was too repetitive and boring. She quit her job as escort member and looked out for new possible jobs. She wanted to protect people from any possible threat. Simple put, she was looking out for a job, that would give her more opportunities to serve her nation. Searching in the ads, something had caught her attention while she was looking through them. A job, offering exactly the things she was looking for. The Liberty Navy.
