Ian Johnson is one of the people, who are living rather isolated from the rest of the society, prefering to live alone, without real relationships to almost anyone. When he was a child, his parents gave him away. For unknown reasons he landed on the streets of Manhattan with the age of five. In the insitution his parents brought him to, he didn't learn anything from the people there or was too busy with finding out who his parents really were. At that time he couldn't recall anything from the day, they decided to drop him somewhere. Some time in one night, Johnson then ran away from the institution, he barely could have called home. He went on the streets, still willing to find out why his parents weren't there.

He grew up in the slums of the main city. He learnt quite fast, that there was a lot of hatred around him. He saw people who died to other people directly infront of his eyes for not really, for him, apparent reason. When he was hungry, he was lucky if he got a piece of bread from the trash, that was laying around. However, most of the cases other people who were hungry as well, adults but even teenager, took it from him again. In the next five years of his life, he learnt how to live on the hard way, forgetting about his parents, believing he wouldn't find them anyway. In that time he had survive, he also learnt to read. He knew he would have to understand what was told. If it would have been a sign, that warned him from something or simply other information. All that mattered for him was to stay alive somehow. Though, he never was aware of how dangerous the slums can be.

However, he survived and became ten years old. It was the time to go somewhere else, doing something different than stealing a few credits from more wealthy people to drink and to eat. In all that time he didn't really have many friendly encounters with anyone. Nobody wanted to speak a word with him. He was just a dirty boy, lost on the streets, a bastard nobody wanted. When he tried to reach for the stars by taking a job, delivering newspapers and magazines, he got robbed over and over again. When he then didn't have anything left in his life than just physical pain by the beating and his clothes on his body, no hope, no believe, a man, someone who seemed to care about him for some reason, helped him on the feet. Johnson learnt the stranger's name was Robert Garden.

The already a bit older man told him there is always a chance to get up again. Ian didn't really believe him but he had no other chance though. Taking the chance right now or rotting in the slums for the rest of his life. The choice wasn't hard for Johnson.

Robert Garden decided to adopt him. For the officials, he was a missing boy, believed he would have been dead. As the opposite have been proved, Garden got the go-ahead to educate the boy. The whole life of Johnson changed all of sudden by that single happening. Learning how to behave and not to steal from others, he soon got a job, Garden offered him. He told Ian it would be a hard job though, but that there aren't much choices in the real life as well. Not really hesitating, Johnson accepted, helping out with the rather unimportant things in the store of a scrap dealer. But it didn't last very long when he heard about space for the first time, the first time he was understanding what it would mean. In addition to that, Johnson heard about the Liberty Navy. It didn't take much time until he longed for that.

By convincing Garden, he then visited the academy with the help of his 'quasi-dad'. It was an odd experience he made but he got used to it quite fast. He met other people he could talk to. But though, joining a school with the age of 11 was quite late. Ian often had problems to follow the topics but tried his best to understand it anyway.

When he got older and older, his interest for the Liberty Navy grew with his age. By taking part-time jobs as mechanic, he made it possible for himself to visit museums and similar buildings, where the story and the task of the Navy was written. He was like addicted to it and sadly lost his interest for the society again. He got better in school and learnt stuff quite fast. Others began to dislike him for his egoistic thinking and his will to learn everything. The friends he was able to gain when he joined school finally left him as well as he became arrogant and rude. Not even Garden was able to have a word with Johnson without ending up in a combat of screaming and loud words.

Later in time then, Johnson somehow managed to get along with Garden. But though, Ian didn't really show any interest in becoming well with him again. That lead to the will of getting away from 'home'. Johnson absolved the basics of space flight with the hardly gained credits from his part-time job. He found his will to join the Liberty Navy in a new way when he went to space for the first time. It wasn't a dream anylonger. The Navy was just some footsteps awaym he thought. When he then got his flight licence, he took a public transport to West Point, willing to do the first step as soon as possible. When he was there, he headed for the recruitment center of the secondary fleet. Because Johnson sent all his papers to the officer before, they already knew he would appear soon or later, asking for when he could begin already.

Not much time later, he was accepted. He learnt a lot about ground combat as well as space combat. In the time he was there, the, for the recruitment responsible persons taught him some manners, showing him, that if he would keep his egoistic view, he wouldn't be able to save lives in Liberty. After years of learning, fighting and making a lot of new, but not so pleasant, experiences, including the views of seeing other people die. But he got over it and was the proud owner of the title as a soldier.

Until now, Ian Johnson kept doing his job for the Secondary Fleet of the Liberty Navy. Until he found new possibilities, that should inspire him again...

The reason why I contact you about this matter is, that I want to do more in terms of making sure Liberty is safe. I would be glad to make that possible in case you would give me that possibility.

[color=#FFFFFF]Signed
- Ian Johnson

Summary Bio (as seen here):

Born a Zoner on Planet Erie in the Pennsylvania System, Alan Polstari was the second of four children born to Mark and Mary Polstari. Mark Polstari operated as an independent trader under a Zoner license, while his wife Mary worked to instruct and raise their children. Taught by his parents from an early age to love freedom and justice, Alan was always looking for ways to make things right amongst his friends and classmates. He would often stand up to bullies at school, even if he was on the losing end of a fight. He would also be the first in being a true witness to help exonerate his friends when they were falsely accused of misconduct.

While many Zoners would consider it limiting, if not enslaving, to work for a house military, an event occurred in the Polstari family that changed Alan's perspective of what providing for freedom really meant. While flying a regular trade route carrying Neon from Bethlehem Station in Pennsylvania, Mark Polstari's Rhino freighter was jumped en route to the New York Jump Gate by a dozen Liberty Rogues in Bloodhounds. While hardly a worthwhile target for such pirates, communications indicated that the Rogues were intoxicated either on alcohol or Cardamine at the time. Disregarding any attempts to discuss terms for passage, the Rogues began strafing runs on the freighter. While a good portion of the fire missed, the sheer volume of firepower that did hit quickly overwhelmed Mark's shields, and his vessel began taking damage. Alan, his brother and two sisters, would have been fatherless, and his mother a widow, were it not for the timely arrival of a Liberty Navy patrol flying Defender Heavy Fighters. Quickly tearing into the intoxicated Rogues they blasted five into scrap metal on the first pass, taking another three as they swept around for another go. Seeing so many of their compatriots destroyed so quickly the remaining ships engaged their cruise engines and headed for the Appalachian Asteroid Field, where one ship exploded as it crashed into a rather large asteroid. Expecting condescension, Mark was surprised by the courtesy extended by the Liberty pilots as they escorted him back to Bethlehem Station. Alan took particular note of this when the story was later related to him back on Erie.

These events began a chain of thought in Alan's head about what providing for freedom and justice really meant. Coming to the conclusion that liberty is provided for by those who fight to defend it, Alan came to the conclusion that while it was not an ideal solution, the protection of the Pennsylvania system by the Liberty Armed Forces provided a greater sense of liberty and justice than would be achieved without their presence. Wanting to help provide such services to his home, Alan decided that the best course of action was to join the Liberty Navy. His family was understandably shocked at first by his announcement, but Alan could see an understanding in his father's eyes, and a genuine sense of pride from his mother with respect to his line of reasoning. Departing Erie he traveled to Manhattan in the New York system where he signed on to be a pilot in the Liberty Navy. Receiving a commission as a Warrant Officer in the Navy, Alan Polstari can be seen on duty flying in Liberty space in his Executioner in defense of liberty and justice, and off duty studying laws and regulations as he prepares himself for submitting an application to the elite Primary Fleet of the Liberty Navy.

Reason to Join:

To provide for the liberty and security of the House of Liberty and the independent territories for which she maintains oversight.

To Lass Rachel Baker,

I have forwarded you my answers through private channels as requested

Name: Logan Balastar

Logan's father was a Kusari Transporter who had a bad accident when landing on New London. His ship engines gave out on re-entry, his entire haul and ship totaled from the crash. After an extensive leave of absence due to medical injuries and about four surgeries later, Yoru was up and about, though now with a girlfriend named Grace, who just happened to be his nurse. The rest leads to Logan.

Logan was born in 796 AS on New London. His father's past, as well as just the simple curiosity, is what got him into the idea of space travel. The boy always fantasized about the day he would launch himself to space in his own ship He would go buy model Bretonian Fighters and name them all the same thing. Batarian. He never had any significant run in with the name, his father had mentioned it once before as the name of a pet he once owned, but it was a name that stuck with Logan. Around his 18th birthday, Logan was given the opportunity to take a route with his fathers new business. He had his own ship he had worked for as well as making the necessary repairs to make it space worthy. However, he fell ill and was hospitalized the day of his launch. Luckily the space port was nearby, so he could watch his father take off, using Logan's ship for the journey. It happened in a matter of moments, but a soft explosion rang in the distance as Logan watched his own ship, with his father inside, explode during takeoff.

A few years passed as Logan had taken over the business his father left behind. His mother soon fell victim to a pirate attack after his fathers death and passed away only a few short months later. Making sure he equipped his ship with only the best weapons he could afford, Logan would go down the most dangerous trade lanes, destroying as many pirates as he could, though he would allow them to eject. He never had the nerve to kill, only to bring justice where it needed to be. A vigilante of sorts. This got him in trouble with the Bretonian military a few times, though he only served a few weeks in their prisons.

Logan did an extensive amount of trading missions between Bretonia and Liberty space and in that time became quite fond of the Liberty Navy, even making a few friends along the way. It took a few years, but now he had mustered up the knowledge and strength, believing he is ready to join a force to fend off whatever dangers lie in and around the Liberty System.

Brief Bio:Sired by a dead-beat prison guard and an absent mother on Planet Houston, he learned to take care of himself at an early age. After years of his drunken father telling him he wouldn't amount to anything, he left home right after high school.
He worked meager jobs until he scrapped enough together to purchase a ship and freelance as a tradeship escort and work on his flight abilities.. After years of no contact, one day he got a message from his father, saying one line. "You are worse than nothing, you're a merc."
After that message, he joined LPI as an independent pilot, awaiting application approval. After some time with this, while monitering tradelane and jumpgate traffic, he recieved comfirmation that a BDM had entered Liberty through Texas. He informed Naval officer Sanders and Ensigns Polstari and Harper of this and moved to help them.
He came across the Rheinlander on his own and followed him across both Texas and California, giving constant updates to the Navy forces until they arrived and cornered the BDM in Hudson, finishing it off. Once that task was completed and they were on their trip home, Naval Officer Sanders suggested he switch his application from LPI to the Navy.

Dear Liberty Naval Recruitment Team,

My name is Jay Wilcott, where do I begin?

I'm sure the Navy Persona checker can tell you that currently, I'm 23 years old. I was born on Planet Denver in the Colorado System, and born into a family of about 6 people. Myself, my mum, dad, 2 brothers and sister, sadly, almost all my family have passed away, or I no longer have contact with.

My work experience hinders more around ground combat, and although trained in stealth and shock tactics, surveillance and precision assassination. I can assure you, my pilot experience is just as good. I trained for three years from when I was 16 to 19, to become a stand by pilot for the Bounty Hunters guild for when or if they would have needed me in the future... However, that walk of life isn't where I want to be. A year ago, I signed up to secondary fleet, after being out of work for 3 years, and it was good to be back in the cock pit. Since getting back to where I left off, I think my combat expertise has somewhat faded, but who says you can't teach an old dog his old tricks? I can honestly say though, the one year of being in the back line has kept me fit, and my martial arts expertise hasn't faded since I was 19. In secondary fleet, I really only stayed at the rank of Ensign, simply because I knew I wouldn't be in there long enough to get anything much other than experience from it, my real dreams lie in primary fleet. I have grown up from somewhat rough areas of planet Denver, and know how to avoid impossible odds, hopefully this is a skill I can transfer into use for Primary Fleet? I've also seen a lot of horrendous and disgusting things. When I was only 14, I witnessed someone being eaten alive by some weird figure, whether or not it was human or something else, I have yet to find out. Onto more pressing matters, I'm sure that things like this will hopefully make me immune to some of the somewhat disturbing things that I may have to witness as a member of Primary Fleet (Secondary fleet tried to almost hide me from things, almost as if they where trying to stop me from proving myself). As I am currently aware, Liberty is searching for people with experience to help combat the threats, dangers and atrocities that await her day to day existence, and I am willing to do what it takes to prove my worth to this great nation.

Please see the files I have sent to the main recruiting officer who I believe to be Captain Rachel Baker, as they contain the other areas of my life which may well be important to this application.

Until then, this is Jay Wilcott, stay safe out there my good friends, ending transmission
