My name is Lucas M. Barton, i grew up on Manhattan, my father is retaired LSF officer. He taught me everything he knows about fighting in space, ships and weapons. I was working for some traders who needed to protect from pirates. During that time I encountered many pirates, fought many fights. Thanks to this experience I realized that pirates are a real danger and have to be stoped, so I started working for Liberty Navy. It has been almost two years, since I began working for the Navy and I want to join and do some serious work. Greetings, Navy.

My name is Todd and I was born on planet Los Angeles 25 years ago. I was raised in a normal non military family - my mother was working as a secretary in a local office of the Universal Shipping trade company. My father, on the other hand never liked being behind a desk - he was employed by Interspace and was gone almost 6 months every year. Luckily they both survived all this time and are now peacefully retired on our home planet. I began to walk in my father's footsteps - at the age of 18, I signed a contract with Universal and began shipping cargo all around Liberty. Soon, though, I realized that this was not my calling - as times were changing, my view of the sorrounding world was altering. When I reached the age of 20, I ended my contract with Universal and began to work as an independent escort service. I always had the urge to help and protect the people around me so I did the best I could to preserve the traders who have paid me to escort them.Two years later I began to feel...restricted in a way. I wanted to do something more than just save a few people from getting robbed - I applied to the LPI and got accepted. It was different - now I had the opportunity to do a little more about my people's safety. I arrested countless smugglers and pirates harassing the peaceful citizens and I felt really good about my job. I was doing that for three years and did not complain... Shortly after I turned 25, I was sitting in Ft.Bush, having a drink when the news on TV struck me like a jackhammer - They announced the declaration of war with Rheinland. I stood there, still as a rock, for about 1 minute when I came to myself. A sudden feeling of nostalgy came through me. I remembered the peaceful times when I was a kid and everybody was happy and I thought about the upcoming war and all the misery, sadness and death it could bring to our nation. Then I realized my true calling - I felt a very strong urge to do something about it..to help in any way I can. It took just a Navy recruitment adv. to make me apply with no hesitation or regret whatsoever.

Reason for joining - I want to be able to preserve and defend Liberty's laws, national integrity and peace where others fail, ensure a safe enviorement for raising our children and look after our elders. Im ready to fight for this cause and die for it if it comes to that.

I've read one of your recruitment posters while I was taking care of DSE matters on Manhatten.
My name is Jonathan Trekkster, I was born on Planet Los Angeles. My father was a farmer like his grand-father before. Since my childhood I had no time for agriculture, much to my fathers regret so at the age of 18 I moved out from my parents farm. The first time I lived on some temporary jobs, mostly as gofer on several trading vessels. After I passed the Civilian Flight Academy and made my pilot license I started working for the DSE Escort Wing.

Now I want to apply for position within the Liberty Navy. You sure wonder why. Well, after four years working for the DSE I figured out that I want to do something more demanding, I'm searching for an opportunity to demonstrate my abilities and I think the Navy is the right place for it.

Nathan Hawk was born in a middle class family. His father a trader, and his mother left him at a young age. He traveled with his father till he was 14. His father's ship, the Mary Nestor (mother's maiden name) was severly damaged by a Nomad attack. His father was critically injured, and the ship was totaled. Lukily, A Navy patrol flew by and picked them up. His father was sent to a med bay on the nearby Battleship Mississipi (for they were in Texas) and Nathan was left in an Orpahanage on Planet Houston. When his father wsa releaced from the med bay, the Navy gave him a ship. He had Amensia, and flew away without him. Feeling sadness, he hitched a ride with a man named Eli, who flew a Firefly. When they fianlly landed on Manhattan, he heard the Order had defeated the Nomads. He also heard the pilots killed in the battle. On was his mother. No contact for 8 years. When the Order became hostile to Liberty, Nathan decided to join them when he could. So, at age 18, he decided to apply for the Navy to help defend his home and the girl he loves on Manhattan.
