Transmission received from pilot Cyprus Mandino
Name: Cyprus Mandino
Age: 31
Gender: Male
height: 6 feet 3 inches (190.5 cm)
weight: 210 lbs (95.2 kg)
Parents: Father - Unknown to this day; Mother- Calliope Mandino (unmarried, deceased)
Place of birth: Planet Pittsburgh slums, manufacturing district.
Date of birth: 787 A.S.
Timezone: GMT -06:00
Experience: : Began with planetary transit vessels, moved on to civilian spacecraft and, on occasion, off the books use of military vessels (unauthorized). Minor experience out of atmosphere, however promise has been shown, especially since he was self taught.
Bio: Cyprus was not born into a powerful family. On the contrary his father was never known and his mother died shortly after childbirth, leaving only an Ident card as legacy to Cyprus. He was named Rupert at the orphanage but shortly into puberty he ran in with a crowd of a less than lawful group of teenagers slated for working the factories as their fathers before them. Because he was an orphan and had no one to hold him back, nor keep him responsible after reaching manhood, Cyprus quickly became the leader of this little band and often committed petty crimes as well as theft of civilian and even a few Liberty Navy vessels on shore leave for joy rides. Having been self taught, the first few journeys resulted in a few scrape-ups, however he was a swift learner and began to excel at piloting craft ranging from a Hawk civilian fighter to a Liberty Navy commissioned Executioner.
However this fun was not to last and he was forced to make a choice : long-term imprisonment, or reform and possible prospective pilot training for corporations around Liberty. As his name and reputation grew more noted in small backroom talks, Cyprus learned of the power he could hold if only he were able to take the right offer once his time was served. He used some of his previous criminal connections to secure possible knowledge of his unknown father. Apparently his father had been a Liberty Rogue whom his mother met with illicitly, despite his maternal grandfather's preaching. This drew Cyprus to a conclusion : he must go out into the void and face down as many pirates as he could and bring them to justice, and if his father still lived, he would find him and face him. Not having much to go on, Cyprus attributed his gifted abilities as a pilot to surely be from his father, not his mother's side, and was sure that he could be outmaneuvered by none other than the man who must be his father when put to the test.
To this end, Cyprus has decided his one place where the most paramount upper echelon of tactical knowledge, equipment, and craft can be appropriated would be the Liberty Navy. He has lay himself upon the mercy of the command and has naught to offer but skill, dedication to the eradication of as many scum as possible, and the protection of Liberty, as it is the only home he has ever known.

Gender: Male
Height: 6ft.
Weight: 13st
Relatives: None
Previous Fields of Work: Freelance Bomber Pilot
Experience: Good
Timezone: CET/GMT
Skyp-3: Adz.Criz
Patience is not his real name, but rather his new one, after an accident in the cargohold of a Freighter 20 years ago. Nothing of the accident is truley known, only inferred from evidence, his parents and he were in the cargobay, stowaways, when a crate of consumer goods came loose and fell, crushing his parents dead, patience managed to dodge but not before hitting the left side of his head, the rest is a blank and the scar a mute testamony. His Birthplace of New London is also, only inferred, his accent and inflections pointed to a Bretonian birth, and his age is approximated with through Scientific examination.
Upon the age of 16, Patience joined up with the Freelance Pilots initiative, his first ship, a 4th hand beaten up old CSV, escorting convoys and rooting out pirates, with a particular talent for avoiding incomming fire, he eventually earned enough to buy his first decent ship, a Retrofitted Havok Mk I Bomber, selling his services for the highest bidder, a true Mercenary.
At age 20, his skills and activity were noticed by the Liberty Navy Guard, who started to hire him for the odd job, Impressed with his ability to perform any task they assigned him they eventually gave him a regular contract, access to their restricted weapon stores and the Virginia System. Thesedays Patience flys a Havok MkII Bomber with all the juicy Liberty Navy Trimmings, maintaining exceptional reputation with Liberty Navy Guard, LPI, LSF and all Liberty House Corporations.
With a solid Lawful freelancing background and work for the Liberty Navy, Patience felt it was time to put down roots, join a respected Organisation and make a good life for himself, but war drums started to sound, Rheinland bellows, the Navy calls for pilots and the call for duty.
// Ive played before, used to be a Corsair Cruiser pilot. Maxxed out Lib Navy Guard, LPI, LSF etc Reps and even come with a fully kitted out Havok MkII

Evenin', folks.
Since some of you have scored very well on your questionnaires, we have made an exception for you. SAMUEL VIMES and SAM UNDERWOOD, you are ACCEPTED into the Liberty Navy. You'll be given some further training at West Point and Richmond academies then issued an Executioner Heavy Fighter by the Quartermaster. Log plenty of flight time, pay attention, and you'll do well.
As for the rest of you, while your determination to join is admirable, the Liberty Navy Primary Fleet recruitment is now CLOSED with no further exceptions being permitted. Those who are currently considering an application may register an application, but it will not be looked at until we are open again. Of course, feel free to apply for various secondary fleet divisions such as SFC, 36th, or 41st in the meantime, for it is a good way to get started.
Sincerely,
Vice Admiral Teerin,
Logistics Corps Head,
Liberty Navy Primary Fleet.

.....Message Body.....
Greetings to those who may view my application. I am aware that primary fleet is currently not accepting new recruits at this time but i thought i would leave this here for when recruiting starts back up.
My name is Jack Laskey and i am a Liberty Citizen born on the Planet Manhattan. My parents James and Sue Laskey were both Transport parents for Deep Space Engineering and i grew up spending time cruising around the New York system and when i was lucky other systems within Liberty. When i was a teenager i would spend time learning the insides and outs of different types of ships.
At age 19 i joined Deep Space Engineering's Security Division and began to escort Transport across Liberty. During some of these escort missions i would come across Xenos, Rogues, and Lane Hackers and be forced to defend the transports and their pilots. Its during these times i began to hone my skills as a pilot and gain much needed combat experience. I also witnessed the bravery of the Liberty Navy on a few of those occasions.
I continued to my career as a Security pilot until the age of 25 when i fully learned just how much i love my nation. It was a normal transport mission to the Texas System, nothing seemed of the ordinary until i picked up Rheinland Military comm traffic ordering all Liberty Ships to surrender. My convoy was one Trade Lane away from our destination so we decided to push forward, right into the middle of a warzone. The Rheinland Military was beginning to attack Liberty Police forces trying to get transports out of the area. They didn't stand a chance. The Rheinland ships began easily destroyed the LPI and ships then they started targeting the transports. I fought back to the best of my ability but i was no match for the Military ships and weaponry. My engines were damaged and i started to drift, a easy target for any pilot. Just as i thought i was done fore a Liberty Dreadnought came down a trade lane and put its self between the Transports and the Rheinland ships giving them enough time to slip away. I was picked up by a Navy Fighter and taken to a nearby station. I heard the Navy managed to push the Rheinland fleet out of Liberty, but they took heavy losses in the process.
It was that event that lead me to send this application. The brave men and women of the Liberty Navy inspired me to be apart of something bigger than myself. They inspired me to serve and protect my fellow Libertonians from those who wish to take away their freedoms.
Anyways thats my story and my reason for wanting to join the Navy. I eagerly await any message from the Navy
Jack Laskey Signing off

Gentlemen, hello and good morning. I would first like to apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay of a formal response from Naval Recruitment & Retention Command.
Secondly I would like to thank both of you for your interest in Serving our Great Republic by entering into the First Fleet's Accelerated Flight Officer Training Program, we're always glad to accept intelligent and patriotic citizens into our ranks, provided they have what it takes. The Navy of course, is not for everyone, the Officer Corps, even less so.
Having said all of that, I'm happy to inform you both that your applications have been reviewed and approved by me personally.
You will both be receiving orders to ship out to West Point in relatively short time now. I hope that you will do well in your courses there, and I look forward to seeing you both become well trained, professional soldiers, eager to serve in the defense of our Republic.
Good luck, and of course, Welcome to the Navy.
Yours with honor,
Fleet Admiral Rachel Alexis Baker.

Penny was born into a happy and comfortable familiy. Her mother and father were
both in the Liberty Navy.
She originally was a hauler, working for Deep Space Engineering. The trader life was easy, moving ore from various places to gain DSE a profit was rewarding. However, she took a distaste to the poor safety of traders such as herself when trading. One day, she was in a convoy with other colleagues. The job was simple: Deliver some Super Conductors to Denver. When she and the convoy had entered the Fort Bush to Colorado Jump Gate lane, they were soon interrupted by Rogues. The Convoymaster desperately tried to not pay the pirates as they were asking for a high amount of money which they could not pay. The pirates decided to punish the convoy for this, they destroyed everyone and their ship except Penny who was able to speed away to safety in her Freighter.
Penny had become sick of this vicious cycle, pirates killing innocent traders and for what? A few credits. Lives can't be measured out in credits.
She came across a Navy Recruit poster when out on a walk trying to recooperate from what had just happened. The grand symbol of the navy gleamed on the poster, the manipulative text stood out as if the 'ENLIST TODAY' was calling her very soul to sign up. She knew what she must do.
Her parents were extremely against allowing her to sign up, fearing it may be too dangerous for her. She ignored their concern, she wasn't a child anymore, she was a free woman.
She went down to her local Liberty Navy recruitment center and placed her application in, hopefully that she would be able to join the Navy in order to protect Liberty's citizens.
