Biographical Segment: Born on planet Houston, i was raised in a family with a strong military tradition. My father, grand father and before served liberty and now it's my duty. I grew up in Belmont district but to be honest, i never though i would join the Navy. Not much could be said about when i was young...I was what you could call a nerd and was often bullied by others until i left houston to finish my college on Manhattan high technology institute. Soon after the graduation, instead of listening my father and attend officer school, i simply got the first job available on any ship. I basically ended up on a DSE ship named the Great white and earned the rank of logistic officer by default because nobody wanted to job. I learned why the hard way. I wasn't really cut out for such waste of time doing paper work when i could do better. After few weeks i've sent my candidature to West point Academy where i was accepted. Pretty sure my dad pulled some strings there but any dads would do the same right? Anyway during the Basic military qualifications, i almost felt at home with the officers bullying us and pushing us to the limit. Then the real deal started when i really attended the C.o courses. Wasn't the best student, i won't lie about it, i didn't finished first of the prom nor the last. Now that my first assignment is about to end i was told to contact the fleet for a bigger challenge so here i come.

Seen some action in the Rheinland front, was in one of the teams that secured the Westfallen. Decided to get out two years ago, and join the private sector. Been in Kusari these past two years, but it wasn't really my thing. Home is hurting again, but I'm not keen in being a ground gun. Biographical Segment: After attending Georgetown University and completing an undergraduate program in Mathematics & Economics, Mr. Redding entered into the Republic of Liberty’s State Department to practice his passion for diplomacy as a career. During this time, Mr. Redding worked to facilitate low level diplomatic functions between the Bretonian and Libertonian governments and also conduct extensive research regarding the situation in Leeds and the recent invasion conducted by Gallia in order to keep the Ambassador and the Military Attaché of the embassy clearly up to date. During this time, he developed an interest towards security studies & international relations so he also became a part time master’s degree student at the King’s College, New London in order to study a post-graduate degree in International/Interstellar Relations in order to further his career.

His interest in the military stemmed from the fact that he wanted to become the military attaché as an embassy posting when he was older, so applying to West Point Academy became the natural next step in order to further his diplomatic career and beginning a military career as well.

Nevertheless, given the geopolitical situation at the moment with Gallia at Bretonia’s and Liberty’s doorstep, he’s willing to conduct his military service wherever the Republic needs him. Moreover, he looks forward to pursuing a challenge, developing discipline and fulfilling his potential as an Officer in the Navy one day.

Your experience in Discovery: I played Discovery on-and-off between 2009-2013. My main characters were mostly =LSF=, and I was also the Director Tactical Operations back when I used to play. Due to college,
I had to quit playing, but I have more time on my hands now so I thought I'd return. I'm confident with my ability to RP and I usually do a lot of research when developing a character into whatever profession I want him or her to be, because I enjoy having realistic characters with realistic careers and personalities.

Biographical Segment:
I was born on the colonial world of California Minor. I am coming from a family of hardworkers in the fueling industry. We were a modest family and they desired for me to have another destiny rather than work in a fuel processing plant, so they sent me to have the Science Academy over Manhattan and have a superior Master's degree in military telecommunications, military procedures and tactics. I also made a special 1 year course of Military "Mano-A-Mano" combat and basic piloting.

The turning point in my life, and realized when everything is very fragile around us, was when I was on a trip with my childhood friend. He worked with Interspace, he loved the life of a trader, exploring the Sector. A dream that vanished when we were overwhelmed with superior firepower by a Rogue Scylla and some Outcast near the Texas scrapfield. The demands were too high for them, the last route costed him and he really didn't had anything in his credit chips. Despite that... they insisted. Until he shot his vessel down.. and the Scylla was sure to cripple any signs of his existence. I tried to fight back in desperation, I damaged an Outcast vessel that ran into the Scylla damaging it's targeting sensors and I had a chance to vanish. But my vessel was damaged as well.. the cockpit controls cracked and I got a little scar across my nose. When I look in the mirror I remember that day. I promised myself to do something better and use my knowledge and skills to protect those that are in desperation and in need. Citizens of Liberty are endangered everyday, from various foes..

Biographical Segment: Lady Victorix IV Von Karling was born to the quite prestigious Von Karling family of Gallia. The Eldest Daughter of her Parent's branch of the family, she grew up tutored in all the classical arts of a Noble Lady, and the modern Academics required of such a lofty position. Learned in subjects from Algebra to Xenology, Lady Victorix IV lived a most charmed life, though a discontented one. With careers in the Gallic Royal Navy becoming a trend among the scions of Noble Houses, Sofia joined in among this trend, earning her commission from The École Militaire de New Paris. Upon the earning of her commission, she completed the Cadet phase of Officer's Training, becoming a Surface Warfare officer her secondary MOS being CI/HUMINT Special Duty Officer. Despite her Noble Birth, her upbringing was rather spartan, as her family stressed academics and her personal growth, over more pleasureful pursuits. This never really affected her too much, though her parents were somewhat harsh, though not unkind. They were highly logical people, and gave Sofia freedom to do what ever she wanted. Assuming she could justify exactly why she wanted to do the things she asked for. This lead to a very good educational curriculum for her growing up, but one that was a bit lean on 'Fun'. This parenting style had more effects than originally realized, Sofia never had a full relationship, and is still holding out hope for one. The relationships she has been in usually died after just a few weeks, mostly through her fault, as she grew into having a very twisted view of relationships, believing them to necessarily contain drama and lies, through the books she read.

Aided by her somewhat spartan upbringing, Academy life wasn't that challenging for her, exciting more than anything, with the only confrontations surrounding her more Non-traditional upbringing, earning her the attention of other students. From there she completed all necessary courses for a full officer's commission in the Royal Navy and after a year's time as an Adjutant-Ensign, before graduating to a full Lieutenant and being transferred to an independent fleet unit. She served there as an Analytics Officer, a more silent job as she tended to stay back and provide the Captain with updated and accurate information of the battlefield, studying them before serving as Surface Warfare Officer of Patrol Fleet in the Tau systems, before being promoted and transferred to her final position in the GRN. Though a competent enough Captain, she's no One-Woman-ARmy, and most importantly, she knows it. She's a tactical analyst, an Observer, an officer. She's there to put her people in the best position possible and make sure they can do the job they're specialized in. Despite her normally serious demeanor, she constantly packs Candies in her crew's standard kits, somewhat naively trying to ensure they get what she felt she missed out on. Though not that great of a fighter pilot, she can hold her own, additionally she's a very competent commanding officer, and a people person. She defected away from the GRN following some of the more horrific information she uncovered about their dealings. The Authenticity of her defection was cleared through the BAF and Council, before she finally arrived in Liberty to apply once again to the Navy Field.
