Many questions raced through Adam's mind. "What are we doing here? Are we lost? Is he visiting Freeport 4? Maybe, just Maybe, what if my dad's a pirate." Then, something unexpected happened. He heard his father start to talk on his comm.

Trader: Not today pirate, I don't have any credits anyways.
James: Credits wont be necessary today trader, I'm just going to scan your cargo
Trader: I'm leaving, I have nothing for you to take from me.
The trader began to activate his cruise engines. But James hit him with a cruise distributor just in time.
James: I said HALT!
Trader: Are you serious pirate? I'm leaving.

James, without hesitation, opened fire, and killed the trader cold blood.
Adam was devastated to learn the truth about his father. Adam looked up to him, he was Adam's hero. But not anymore. Adam wanted to not only be nothing like his father, but he wanted to protect the people from other pirates, or any other threat there was, or ever will be. His father died weeks later. Can't say Adam felt no sadness, after all, it was his father. For 7 years Adam trained to maximize his skills in the art of Flying, Combat, and Reflexes.
