Only a youngling relative to the rest of the hive, only a limited amount of data is available on this childish Vagrant. At a glance, they appear to be not unlike other creatures in their infancy. Playful. Childish. Naive. Fearful. Like many Vagrants, Acaste originates from the Abyss, not native to Sirius. Acaste, in all its youth and inexperience, serves the role of a scout - uncovering connections and learning more about the universe it resides in. This inherent innocence makes Acaste a rather loyal creature, but one with a loyalty akin to a child that begrudgingly does the tasks it has been set.

As Acaste experiences more of its surroundings, more of the hostile and volatile region it inhabits, it is forced to adapt and evolve to the situations it is presented. Acaste has little experience with Vagrant's aggressive neighbours, but when it does encounter them it, unless instructed otherwise, tries to ward them away by expressing itself and showing them its nature - all the while trying to gain as much information on them while revealing none.

Learning Through Defeat


The Omicrons are a harsh and unforgiving environment, with the chance of a friendly encounter being frightfully low. Acaste has arrived in the Sirius sector to do its duty and learn while doing so, but sadly Acaste has had to learn a difficult lesson. Through constant defeat, Acaste has learned of its requirement to adapt and evolve.

Acaste has pursued the path of power, hoping the increased amount of strength will allow it to survive the dangerous voids of the Omicrons and continue to serve the hive, while picking up on human traits and behaviours. Currently, the only trait they all seem to have in common is their desire to see the Nomads gone.
