Born to a couple in Utsunomiya after the liberation of Earth by the Alliance in the late 2100s, Nodoka Hanamura lived a normal lifestyle, enjoying what time she had whilst her father served with the Alliance. During her time at Tokyo University on Earth, The Coalition rebounded after being driven away from Earth, rapidly approaching. Concerned about their family, her father urged her and her brother and sister to flee to Saturn's moon of Titan to board the Kusari, a colony ship set up by the Japanese state in tandem with other Alliance nations. Leaving earth behind for a life on Sirius, as well as her father and mother, whose fate is unknown.
Out of perverse interest by the youthful Kusari state which was looking to experiment on some of the populace from earth in various project, namely for Nodoka, PROJECT TSURARA-ONNA - which experimented on several women and men who were kept frozen for nearly a millenium by the Kusari government until 820 AS, with Nodoka being one of the first to be unfrozen. The experiment was to see how well a human could adapt to being frozen for a extremely prolonged period of time. The project at the time was headed by Kishiro Technologies' office in Oita on Planet New Tokyo.
Successfully completing the experiment, Nodoka was released into society in 822 AS, only to go rogue against the then-republican Kusari state, as a result of their ties to Gallia and overall distaste of the state and what her nation had become. After violating the law and, due to heightened criminal activity, being able to obtain a second hand vessel from a ship dealer using the money she had, proceeded to flee Kusari, only to be halted by her now-companions, Mieko "Honya" Iekahara and Jae-un "Pale Bride" Song, two Kishiro AI who were reported missing and through clerical and police error, were lost aboard the Stargazer shuttle that Nodoka had purchased following a mid-air collision that killed its' pilot, who were the two AIs' creator, of which, they have no memory of due to data corruption from the incident.
Gaining their trust, Nodoka fled Kusari with the ire of both Kusari and Kishiro on her - however, due to the civil war at hand, their priorties lied elsewhere. Fleeing to Pennsylvania to start again, She started mining Helium to make a living, eventually buying her first two ships, Navigium Ejus and Pudica. Upon getting a employment Opportunity with the now-defunct Williams-Mordhauser Distributing, she left Liberty as the albeit brief conflict betwixt Battlegroup Harmony and the Liberty Navy took place. As she approached the Omegas via Rheinland, she came across Freeport 11 Denizen Marisa Kita, of which she would later enter a relationship with. Proceeding to explore the Omegas, Omicrons and even Nomad Space,
Nodoka soon fell in love with the Zoner woman, and, after casting away her nationality, moved to Freeport 11 in 823 AS. Although at first not well recieved by natives, she has come to have a cult of personality in some circles as a result of her efforts to help the Freeport.
As the situation in Omicron Delta escalated, Freeport 11 became a hotbed of activity, both peaceful and violent. Nodoka, concerned deeply about her home, stepped up her aid to the station, and provided whatever help she could. She was eventually contacted by Auxesia for help with the evacuation of Shadowhaven Station in October 824 AS, only to be unable to do so as a result of the albeit short Zoner-Order conflict that occured as a result of the establishment of Cooperative relations between Freeport 11 and The Core. This, effectively, turned Nodoka against the Order, a organization she once idolized. After this, she slowly grew distrustful of the Core due to their incomptence in defeating a Nomad threat in cooperation with the Corsairs, their enemy. She then turned her Gaze to Auxesia, a faction she held regard for, but not much knowledge about.
Following the self-exile of Kyu Akibara from Freeport 11 and Zoner Society due to threats against him , Freeport 11, and numerous Zoner installations, including Gran Canaria, Nodoka was Refusing to take no for an answer from Kyu in response to her statement to become administrator, She contacted Brettonias Wingspan of the COF and requested to take Kyu's place. Accepted to become a Administrator by the CoF, albeit informally, Nodoka took the helm of Freeport 11 as an Administrator-designate, soon befriending Alexei Miranov, the Head of Maintenance and adjutant to not just Akibara, but various other Administrators that came before him. Focused on revitalizing the station and improving its' security and safety, Nodoka would continue to act in the best interests of the Freeport.
Unfortunately, this would gain the ire of the Quasi-lawful organization Triple Hazard Pay and their supposed terrorist associates, Lost Company following punishment from the Administration. After a failed assassination on Pale Bride, Nodoka was hellbent on eradicating both THP and Lost Company, only to humor THP following Teresa Brooks' attempt to make peace with the Administration by proving Lost Company and THP were not cooperative and that no bounty on Bride, Nodoka or Honya was placed by THP. With the Aid of her friends in Harpy Squadron, as well as Professor Nerva Regis of the Unity, Nodoka has stood the test that many have failed - to survive in the Omicrons, and to keep her head held high whilst doing so.
After her presence at Freeport 11 as administrator, Nodoka left Freeport 11 in March of 825 AS for Inverness. During her time as Administrator, she had become somewhat close friends with the defacto 'head' of Auxesia, Joshua "Leviathan" Hunt. Through her ties and communications with the Keeper, Nodoka and her friends would proceed to be informally made members of the Covenant of Auxo, Auxesia's Civilian counterpart, which housed remnants of various fallen societies in Sirius, as well as various native families from Auxesia's birth in the early 800s. Currently living aboard the Dragostea, now known as Abdicant Seraphine, Nodoka and her Crew are evaluating their options on what course of action to take.
Nodoka's eyes personally are set on returning to Kusari and overthrowing the newly-formed state that was formed with the resolution of the Civil war betwixt the IKN and KNF, and implementing Auxesian Transhumanist and Socially liberal/Politically Liberal ideals, embracing a modern government and society and putting the emperor and royals as figureheads rather than a key part of the state, however, even with this focus, she is still adamant about working to defeat Michal Golanski and the Order and instill a new leader to head the Order, all the while aiding the fight against the Gallic Roi and their Naval Forces.
After the founding of Ouroboros, Elena "Birdie" Graham had devised a FIVRS (Full Immersion Virtual Reality System) interface for the purpose of emulating the shared virtual environment system that Honya and Pale Bride can natively run when communicating with compatible AI. Using this system, Nodoka was able to return to Earth via her memories, alongside her friends in Harpy Squadron, her most trusted friends from the Seraphine's crew and then-Hogosha Akira Kiyoshi. Through yet to be confirmed or verified reports, spiritual/electro-magnetic anomalies manifesting themselves as entities reminiscent of her family and friends from Earth. Her father and mother, Kyle and Ayane, had both informed her of her sister's fate, being one and the same as Nodoka's - Frozen by Kishiro for experimentation. Although the known laws of reality and physics, such things as Ghosts and spirits are nothing more than myth, Nodoka refuses to believe that the words of her supposed father are false.
Driven to reunite with her sister and possible successors of the Hanamura family, Nodoka's story has entered yet another new chapter.

Built onto the equivalent of a Terran server CPU in terms of size, and utilizing a advanced, state of the art AI Neural Network generation technique made explicitly for LSD AIs, which, were given the QPU family designation K/WA-11, made specifically for the project. Of her family, only 20 are confirmed to have successfully passed Morality testing.
Honya, as well as her sister, Pale Bride, were to be fine-tuned and developed to promote the new project to the public, however, before it could be done. Upon obtaining bodies from Ingennus Research Group as a gift from Nodoka, Honya proceeded to adopt a proper name for herself, Mieko Iekahara, whilst retaining the name Honya as a nickname. Not long after this, she proceeded to grow enamored with the transhumanist group Auxesia, proceeding to work with them as a member of the Secretive Task Force Strigoi, and as a Affiliate.
Although kind and innocent on the outside, when it calls for such behavior, she is not afraid to bring to bear her intellect, skill, and even hidden aggression, onto those who threaten her, her beliefs, or her friends and family. Her ambitions are, until recently, confessing to Nodoka, who she has been enamoured with since they met. Now, she places her focus on working with Ouroboros under Nodoka, as well as enjoying her life.

Following a short stint with Auxesia under Harpy Squadron, of which, Jae-un was left emotionally and psychologically harmed from due to seperation from her colleagues, She joined Ouroboros with the group, focused and driven to take the fight to all sides of Ouroboros' ongoing conflict with Kusari, Gallia and the Order.
Aggressive at times, yet reserved when left vulnerable emotionally, and protective of her friends and family, as well as versatile with weapons of every shape, size and stride, Pale Bride is one of the more proactive of the trio that makes up the small "family" that Nodoka clings to.

Alexei Miranov, also known by his alias of Samizdat, is a technician onboard Freeport 11 who defected from the Coalition in 806 AS. He moonlights as the DJ of the pirate radio station "Soul of the Delta". He was born to a unknown couple in 785 on Sochi, Planet Jiangxi. Witnessing the death of his parents at the hands of the SCRA at the age of 16, Alexei fled in a stolen ship to Freeport 11. From there, as a vagrant, he was taken under the wing of a prior administrator of the station, and taught the ways of Zoner Society and, for his survival, how to live a life in the Omicrons.
In his 30s, Alexei served under Administrator Kyu Akibara as head of the Maintenance team, and, until Nodoka Hanamura ascended to the position, kept the Installation from falling into chaos in 824 AS. Afterwards, Alexei served as a aide to Nodoka, providing information and suggestions to make the transition and her administration as smooth as possible. Alexei, after the events that led to Akibara's exile, as well as the destruction of Port Carthage and the spewing of Propaganda by the Core and Order, took the news into his own hands by creating a pirate radio station that operates from a unknown vessel, playing both old earth music and telling the news from a "un-biased" standpoint, even though he holds heavy disdain for the Order, Core and their contemporaries, and especially hates the Coalition.
As time has gone on, Alexei has grown tired of his current situation in Omicron Delta and with Zoner Society, not out of hatred, but mere longing to aspire to live a adventurous life, one denied to him by his position and past. He has sworn himself to aid Nodoka in her duties, and hopefully later on in life, join the Bretonian Armed Forces as a Expatriate, serving as a capital ship commander.
With the founding of Ouroboros, Alexei took on many roles within the organization, acting as the leader of Snubcraft Division "Kotetsu", managing personnel intake, as well as acting as a diplomatic envoy to the Crayter Republic.
He is a reserved and at times impatient man, but is friendly and caring to those he thinks fondly of. He has a soft spot for Honya, seeing her as innocent and cute.

Born to a couple in Mie on New Tokyo, Shinta was always born to be a star, and as such, aspired to be a actress. At least, this is, if she were real.
Shinta Nagasaki was originally devised as a disembodied alter-ego of Nodoka Hanamura, created by Lane Hacker Interruptor Stefan Pomerov and Nodoka Hanamura for the sole purpose of creating a new Identity for Nodoka to infiltrate Kusarian society after being wanted by the state. Operated in the digital space by Honya in the interim, Nodoka plans to, through the use of IRG's human cloning technology, of which was used to create near perfect human shells for Honya and Pale Bride, create Shinta as a shell for Nodoka to inhabit, to infiltrate Kishiro Technologies, as to find out the truth about both her, and her AI.
However, as difficulties with the project worsened, it was decided to create an AI in Shinta's image based on the AI code of Cassiopeia and Mercury Graham, two AIs constructed by Elena "Birdie" Graham. With her body constructed in late May of 825 AS, Shinta operates as a agent of Ouroboros under the Office of Domestic Affairs, reporting back information to Nodoka about intelligence on Kishiro's developments pertaining to AI and cryogenic experiments.
Innocent, friendly and outgoing, Shinta is likable on the surface, but has yet to have such innocence broken by bloodshed.

A Former Golden Chrysanthemum, Setsuna Kobayashi is a Commodore-Major in the Ouroboros Revolutionary Group.
After being decieved by the Golden Chrysanthemums into succumbing to the "Golden Dream", and realizing the more radical ideals the faction hid beneath the surface,
Setsuna defected in 824 AS, and had spent the rest of her days in Exile from Kusari. Discovered by Ouroboros via Mieko Iekahara, on Freeport 10, Setsuna's hopsitality, listening skills and compassion made her a perfect fit for diplomatic affairs, however, the pent up frustration over the deception of the Golden Chrysanthemums, of which, she describes as a "Cult that has forgone the words of Matsuda in the name of the ever-corrupting Cardamine drug", has driven her to occasionally concern leaving her post and joining the more combatative arms of Ouroboros to fight against the "Golden Nightmare".
A intellectual who has compassion for others, with demons lingering beneath the surface, Setsuna is one of many up and coming people in Ouroboros' ranks.
Q. Why is your character from Sol of all places? Why not originate from Kusari or from Freeport 11, since your character considers it home?
A. I wanted to stand out from others in regards to origin. Not many people pull this off well, and I wanted to minimize as much as possible my birthplace, So much that I don't mention it in RP except to people I trust in RP. I don't make it a focus of my character, because it's not a focus of Discovery - The focus right now is mostly the Nomads in the east of Sirius and Gallia in the west. I want to explore it and hopefully create a framework that can be used for other Sol-born characters, what little there reasonably could be.
Q. But didn't The Coalition take over Earth early on?
A. Coming from the perspective of someone who only played starlancer once (and was turned off by it, mainly because it played like a badly made Elite Dangerous knockoff even before Elite Dangerous was a thing), and after examining the lore on the Discovery Wiki, I've come to the following conclusions:
- The Pre-Sirius Discovery Lore is too vague to prohibit Nodoka from existing as is. A period of time where the Coalition could have been beaten back is feasible, as it's stated that the Alliance had taken back up to the Major outer gas giants in Sol. Taking back Earth for about 30-40 years wouldn't be too far fetched.
- All timelines given declare a rough area of time rather than solid exact years for when events occured. This, albeit unintended by the story devs, gives leeway for characters from Sol to exist - Within reason, of course.
The purpose of doing this is two fold. I want to create a Unique RP that explores beyond Sirius, but doesn't focus too much on it. I want Earth to be a integral part of who Nodoka is in Discovery, but not so much that it is the only thing she is known for. I also want to help provide a method for other people to create similar characters. I know not much outside of how she is in Sirius right now can be done, but I feel other methods could be attempted. (repetitive experimental cloning of a first generation colonizer, requested indefinite cryofreeze due to wanting to live in the far future from some rich family or person who could have swayed influence in the Alliance's upper ranks - or someone simply wanting to wait out a cure for a disease.)
Q. For someone who is relatively new to Discovery and the Freelancer community, you seem to know your way around both Sirius and RP. Why's that?
A. I used to be part of a Roleplay Community on Google+ when I was younger, and later on in life served as a police officer in the City of Gulfport in Second Life. Add in the fact I'm experienced in ERP, and there's my pedigree in roleplay. I'm not perfect, but I'm far from some of the worst roleplayers here. As for Sirius, I've played Freelancer for years before playing Discovery online. I've dabbled in playing with mods, my two favorites being Discovery and Crossfire. I've played since I was little, when I downloaded the demo for Freelancer from the Microsoft Website back around 2005-2006, and i've always come back every year or two to play it again. So I'm no stranger to the pre-discovery lore of Freelancer.
Q. Nodoka (the character) seems to be too well rounded/mary sueish.
A. I can see where you're coming from, and I do agree. I'm trying to focus on my character's bullheadedness when it comes to combat, diving head first into risky situations, risking herself and others. I could see that being a flaw of hers. Another flaw could lie in her inability to harm those she cares about. In her log, she mentioned that she couldn't bear to bring herself to kill Petitioner's character, Marisa Kita, who she has close ties with - if she were to be infected by the Nomads. I could see that her "caring too much" also being a flaw.
Q. Why does Nodoka (the character) know so much about the world after the events of Starlancer? (Freelancer's prequel)
A. As stated in her bio, the reason she was kept frozen was because Kishiro were interested in experimenting with Earth Humans and how they would react to a drastic change in their perceptions of reality as a result of being frozen for a prolonged period of time. Once she was unfrozen, she was implanted with a neural lace and fed knowledge that Kishiro techs had prepared for the project, to get her up to speed once experiments were complete. This consists of the majority of events of Freelancer that were divulged to the public, the major events of Discovery, and, for reasons I'm considering retconning, more classified information that she wasn't supposed to know, including information regarding Kusari and Gallia, especially regarding the latter's war against the Colonies.
Q. What do you plan to do with Nodoka in the future?
A. For the time being, my focus is on starting a new faction with her as inRP leader. The focus will be three fold, mostly in Northern Sirius (Kusari, Gallia, Order, possibly a few brushes with the Nazione Maltesa, some brushes with the Nomads (mostly Aoi). It's essentially going to be a Transhumanist/Liberal Revolutionary Faction.
Q. What is with the H:, PB: and N: prefixes to your chat messages?
A. Since most of the time her ship consists of 3 characters (Nodoka and her AI), Abbreviated names are used to say who's typing. When I am with someone in RP, I will usually for the first few lines, use the full names so they can be familiar with the Character names.With that out of the way, Feel free to give your feedback here.
Addendum: For those who pull the Mary Sue argument out of their ass without actually taking a step back and taking in not just RP you are aware of, but RP that you are not privvy to (30-40% of all of my characters' RP is forumside) - And coming from a levelheaded, unbiased (as humanly possible) perspective - I ask you to consult the following and then depart the thread until such a time you actually have a arguement worth at least its' weight in water:

Born to a couple in Utsunomiya after the liberation of Earth by the Alliance in the late 2100s, Nodoka Hanamura lived a normal lifestyle, enjoying what time she had whilst her father served with the Alliance. During her time at Tokyo University on Earth, The Coalition rebounded after being driven away from Earth, rapidly approaching. Concerned about their family, her father urged her and her brother and sister to flee to Saturn's moon of Titan to board the Kusari, a colony ship set up by the Japanese state in tandem with other Alliance nations. Leaving earth behind for a life on Sirius, as well as her father and mother, whose fate is unknown.
Out of perverse interest by the youthful Kusari state which was looking to experiment on some of the populace from earth in various project, namely for Nodoka, PROJECT TSURARA-ONNA - which experimented on several women and men who were kept frozen for nearly a millenium by the Kusari government until 820 AS, with Nodoka being one of the first to be unfrozen. After violating the law and, due to heightened criminal activity, being able to obtain a second hand vessel from a ship dealer using the money she had, proceeded to flee Kusari, only to be halted by her now-companions, Mieko "Honya" Iekahara and Jae-un "Pale Bride" Song, two Kishiro AI who were reported missing and through clerical and police error, were lost aboard the Stargazer shuttle that Nodoka had purchased following a mid-air collision that killed its' pilot, who were the two AIs' creator, of which, they have no memory of due to data corruption from the incident.
Gaining their trust, Nodoka fled Kusari with the ire of both Kusari and Kishiro on her - however, due to the civil war at hand, their priorties lied elsewhere. Fleeing to Pennsylvania to start again, She started mining Helium to make a living, eventually buying her first two ships, Navigium Ejus and Pudica. Upon getting a employment Opportunity with the now-defunct Williams-Mordhauser Distributing, she left Liberty as the albeit brief conflict betwixt Battlegroup Harmony and the Liberty Navy took place. As she approached the Omegas via Rheinland, she came across Freeport 11 Denizen Marisa Kita, of which she would later enter a relationship with. Proceeding to explore the Omegas, Omicrons and even Nomad Space,
Nodoka soon fell in love with the Zoner woman, and, after casting away her nationality, moved to Freeport 11 in 823 AS. Although at first not well recieved by natives, she has come to have a cult of personality in some circles as a result of her efforts to help the Freeport.
As the situation in Omicron Delta escalated, Freeport 11 became a hotbed of activity, both peaceful and violent. Nodoka, concerned deeply about her home, stepped up her aid to the station, and provided whatever help she could. She was eventually contacted by Auxesia for help with the evacuation of Shadowhaven Station in October 824 AS, only to be unable to do so as a result of the albeit short Zoner-Order conflict that occured as a result of the establishment of Cooperative relations between Freeport 11 and The Core. This, effectively, turned Nodoka against the Order, a organization she once idolized. After this, she slowly grew distrustful of the Core due to their incomptence in defeating a Nomad threat in cooperation with the Corsairs, their enemy. She then turned her Gaze to Auxesia, a faction she held regard for, but not much knowledge about.
Following the self-exile of Kyu Akibara from Freeport 11 and Zoner Society due to threats against him , Freeport 11, and numerous Zoner installations, including Gran Canaria, Nodoka was Refusing to take no for an answer from Kyu in response to her statement to become administrator, She contacted Brettonias Wingspan of the COF and requested to take Kyu's place. Accepted to become a Administrator by the CoF, albeit informally, Nodoka took the helm of Freeport 11 as an Administrator-designate, soon befriending Alexei Miranov, the Head of Maintenance and adjutant to not just Akibara, but various other Administrators that came before him. Focused on revitalizing the station and improving its' security and safety, Nodoka would continue to act in the best interests of the Freeport.
Unfortunately, this would gain the ire of the Quasi-lawful organization Triple Hazard Pay and their supposed terrorist associates, Lost Company following punishment from the Administration. After a failed assassination on Pale Bride, Nodoka was hellbent on eradicating both THP and Lost Company, only to humor THP following Teresa Brooks' attempt to make peace with the Administration by proving Lost Company and THP were not cooperative and that no bounty on Bride, Nodoka or Honya was placed by THP. With the Aid of her friends in Harpy Squadron, as well as Professor Nerva Regis of the Unity, Nodoka has stood the test that many have failed - to survive in the Omicrons, and to keep her head held high whilst doing so.
After her presence at Freeport 11 as administrator, Nodoka left Freeport 11 in March of 825 AS for Inverness. During her time as Administrator, she had become somewhat close friends with the defacto 'head' of Auxesia, Joshua "Leviathan" Hunt. Through her ties and communications with the Keeper, Nodoka and her friends would proceed to be informally made members of the Covenant of Auxo, Auxesia's Civilian counterpart, which housed remnants of various fallen societies in Sirius, as well as various native families from Auxesia's birth in the early 800s. Currently living aboard the Dragostea, now known as Abdicant Seraphine, Nodoka and her Crew are evaluating their options on what course of action to take.
Nodoka's eyes personally are set on returning to Kusari and overthrowing the newly-formed state that was formed with the resolution of the Civil war betwixt the IKN and KNF, and implementing Auxesian Transhumanist and Socially liberal/Politically Liberal ideals, embracing a modern government and society and putting the emperor and royals as figureheads rather than a key part of the state, however, even with this focus, she is still adamant about working to defeat Michal Golanski and the Order and instill a new leader to head the Order, all the while aiding the fight against the Gallic Roi and their Naval Forces.
After the founding of Ouroboros, Elena "Birdie" Graham had devised a FIVRS (Full Immersion Virtual Reality System) interface for the purpose of emulating the shared virtual environment system that Honya and Pale Bride can natively run when communicating with compatible AI. Using this system, Nodoka was able to return to Earth via her memories, alongside her friends in Harpy Squadron, her most trusted friends from the Seraphine's crew and then-Hogosha Akira Kiyoshi. Through yet to be confirmed or verified reports, spiritual/electro-magnetic anomalies manifesting themselves as entities reminiscent of her family and friends from Earth. Her father and mother, Kyle and Ayane, had both informed her of her sister's fate, being one and the same as Nodoka's - Frozen by Kishiro for experimentation. Although the known laws of reality and physics, such things as Ghosts and spirits are nothing more than myth, Nodoka refuses to believe that the words of her supposed father are false.
Driven to reunite with her sister and possible successors of the Hanamura family, Nodoka's story has entered yet another new chapter.

Not long after this, she proceeded to grow enamored with the transhumanist group Auxesia, proceeding to work with them as a member of the Secretive Task Force Strigoi, and as a Affiliate.
Although kind and innocent on the outside, when it calls for such behavior, she is not afraid to bring to bear her intellect, skill, and even hidden aggression, onto those who threaten her, her beliefs, or her friends and family. Her ambitions are, until recently, confessing to Nodoka, who she has been enamoured with since they met. Alexei Miranov, also known by his alias of Samizdat, is a technician onboard Freeport 11 who defected from the Coalition in 806 AS. He moonlights as the DJ of the pirate radio station "Soul of the Delta". He was born to a unknown couple in 785 on Sochi, Planet Jiangxi. Witnessing the death of his parents at the hands of the SCRA at the age of 16, Alexei fled in a stolen ship to Freeport 11. From there, as a vagrant, he was taken under the wing of a prior administrator of the station, and taught the ways of Zoner Society and, for his survival, how to live a life in the Omicrons.
In his 30s, Alexei served under Administrator Kyu Akibara as head of the Maintenance team, and, until Nodoka Hanamura ascended to the position, kept the Installation from falling into chaos in 824 AS. Afterwards, Alexei served as a aide to Nodoka, providing information and suggestions to make the transition and her administration as smooth as possible. Alexei, after the events that led to Akibara's exile, as well as the destruction of Port Carthage and the spewing of Propaganda by the Core and Order, took the news into his own hands by creating a pirate radio station that operates from a unknown vessel, playing both old earth music and telling the news from a "un-biased" standpoint, even though he holds heavy disdain for the Order, Core and their contemporaries, and especially hates the Coalition.
As time has gone on, Alexei has grown tired of his current situation in Omicron Delta and with Zoner Society, not out of hatred, but mere longing to aspire to live a adventurous life, one denied to him by his position and past. He has sworn himself to aid Nodoka in her duties, and hopefully later on in life, join the Bretonian Armed Forces as a Expatriate, serving as a capital ship commander.

Born to a couple in Mie on New Tokyo, Shinta was always born to be a star, and as such, aspired to be a actress. At least, this is, if she were real.
Shinta Nagasaki was originally devised as a disembodied alter-ego of Nodoka Hanamura, created by Lane Hacker Interruptor Stefan Pomerov and Nodoka Hanamura for the sole purpose of creating a new Identity for Nodoka to infiltrate Kusarian society after being wanted by the state. Operated in the digital space by Honya in the interim, Nodoka plans to, through the use of IRG's human cloning technology, of which was used to create near perfect human shells for Honya and Pale Bride, create Shinta as a shell for Nodoka to inhabit, to infiltrate Kishiro Technologies, as to find out the truth about both her, and her AI.
However, as difficulties with the project worsened, it was decided to create an AI in Shinta's image based on the AI code of Cassiopeia and Mercury Graham, two AIs constructed by Elena "Birdie" Graham. With her body constructed in late May of 825 AS, Shinta operates as a agent of Ouroboros under the Office of Domestic Affairs, reporting back information to Nodoka about intelligence on Kishiro's developments pertaining to AI and cryogenic experiments.
Innocent, friendly and outgoing, Shinta is likable on the surface, but has yet to have such innocence broken by bloodshed.

A Former Golden Chrysanthemum, Setsuna Kobayashi is a Commodore-Major in the Ouroboros Revolutionary Group.
After being decieved by the Golden Chrysanthemums into succumbing to the "Golden Dream", and realizing the more radical ideals the faction hid beneath the surface,
Setsuna defected in 824 AS, and had spent the rest of her days in Exile from Kusari. Discovered by Ouroboros via Mieko Iekahara, on Freeport 10, Setsuna's hopsitality, listening skills and compassion made her a perfect fit for diplomatic affairs, however, the pent up frustration over the deception of the Golden Chrysanthemums, of which, she describes as a "Cult that has forgone the words of Matsuda in the name of the ever-corrupting Cardamine drug", has driven her to occasionally concern leaving her post and joining the more combatative arms of Ouroboros to fight against the "Golden Nightmare".
A intellectual who has compassion for others, with demons lingering beneath the surface, Setsuna is one of many up and coming people in Ouroboros' ranks.

Q. Why is your character from Sol of all places? Why not originate from Kusari or from Freeport 11, since your character considers it home?
A. I wanted to stand out from others in regards to origin. Not many people pull this off well, and I wanted to minimize as much as possible my birthplace, So much that I don't mention it in RP except to people I trust in RP. I don't make it a focus of my character, because it's not a focus of Discovery - The focus right now is mostly the Nomads in the east of Sirius and Gallia in the west. I want to explore it and hopefully create a framework that can be used for other Sol-born characters, what little there reasonably could be.
Q. But didn't The Coalition take over Earth early on?
A. Coming from the perspective of someone who only played starlancer once (and was turned off by it, mainly because it played like a badly made Elite Dangerous knockoff even before Elite Dangerous was a thing), and after examining the lore on the Discovery Wiki, I've come to the following conclusions:
- The Pre-Sirius Discovery Lore is too vague to prohibit Nodoka from existing as is. A period of time where the Coalition could have been beaten back is feasible, as it's stated that the Alliance had taken back up to the Major outer gas giants in Sol. Taking back Earth for about 30-40 years wouldn't be too far fetched.
- All timelines given declare a rough area of time rather than solid exact years for when events occured. This, albeit unintended by the story devs, gives leeway for characters from Sol to exist - Within reason, of course.
The purpose of doing this is two fold. I want to create a Unique RP that explores beyond Sirius, but doesn't focus too much on it. I want Earth to be a integral part of who Nodoka is in Discovery, but not so much that it is the only thing she is known for. I also want to help provide a method for other people to create similar characters. I know not much outside of how she is in Sirius right now can be done, but I feel other methods could be attempted. (repetitive experimental cloning of a first generation colonizer, requested indefinite cryofreeze due to wanting to live in the far future from some rich family or person who could have swayed influence in the Alliance's upper ranks - or someone simply wanting to wait out a cure for a disease.)
Q. For someone who is relatively new to Discovery and the Freelancer community, you seem to know your way around both Sirius and RP. Why's that?
A. I used to be part of a Roleplay Community on Google+ when I was younger, and later on in life served as a police officer in the City of Gulfport in Second Life. Add in the fact I'm experienced in ERP, and there's my pedigree in roleplay. I'm not perfect, but I'm far from some of the worst roleplayers here. As for Sirius, I've played Freelancer for years before playing Discovery online. I've dabbled in playing with mods, my two favorites being Discovery and Crossfire. I've played since I was little, when I downloaded the demo for Freelancer from the Microsoft Website back around 2005-2006, and i've always come back every year or two to play it again. So I'm no stranger to the pre-discovery lore of Freelancer.
Q. Nodoka (the character) seems to be too well rounded/mary sueish.
A. I can see where you're coming from, and I do agree. I'm trying to focus on my character's bullheadedness when it comes to combat, diving head first into risky situations, risking herself and others. I could see that being a flaw of hers. Another flaw could lie in her inability to harm those she cares about. In her log, she mentioned that she couldn't bear to bring herself to kill Petitioner's character, Marisa Kita, who she has close ties with - if she were to be infected by the Nomads. I could see that her "caring too much" also being a flaw.
Q. Why does Nodoka (the character) know so much about the world after the events of Starlancer? (Freelancer's prequel)
A. As stated in her bio, the reason she was kept frozen was because Kishiro were interested in experimenting with Earth Humans and how they would react to a drastic change in their perceptions of reality as a result of being frozen for a prolonged period of time. Once she was unfrozen, she was implanted with a neural lace and fed knowledge that Kishiro techs had prepared for the project, to get her up to speed once experiments were complete. This consists of the majority of events of Freelancer that were divulged to the public, the major events of Discovery, and, for reasons I'm considering retconning, more classified information that she wasn't supposed to know, including information regarding Kusari and Gallia, especially regarding the latter's war against the Colonies.
Q. What do you plan to do with Nodoka in the future?
A. For the time being, my focus is on starting a new faction with her as inRP leader. The focus will be three fold, mostly in Northern Sirius (Kusari, Gallia, Order, possibly a few brushes with the Nazione Maltesa, some brushes with the Nomads (mostly Aoi). It's essentially going to be a Transhumanist/Liberal Revolutionary Faction.
Q. What is with the H:, PB: and N: prefixes to your chat messages?
A. Since most of the time her ship consists of 3 characters (Nodoka and her AI), Abbreviated names are used to say who's typing. When I am with someone in RP, I will usually for the first few lines, use the full names so they can be familiar with the Character names.
Addendum: For those who pull the Mary Sue argument out of their ass without actually taking a step back and taking in not just RP you are aware of, but RP that you are not privvy to (30-40% of all of my characters' RP is forumside) - And coming from a levelheaded, unbiased (as humanly possible) perspective - I ask you to consult the following and then depart the thread until such a time you actually have a arguement worth at least its' weight in water:
