POST TERRAN MINING CORPORATION

Backstory:
In year 2300, when the Coalition and Alliance entities where in great termoil. A shadowy giant berau was
combing the fields of space looking for a new colony to sift away humanity and their knowledge of the
Stars into vaults of stations in deep space. The stations grew in numbers as the years grew in strength with
the Alliance and Coalition factions. Until the great departure of the Sleeper ships fastened their way into what
is now known as the Sirius Sector we know today. In a distant system of Tycho Brahe, a colony station
moments before the news of the former headquarters station was destroyed was distinguished as the
new HQ of this mega corporation. Former successors where cut off by the new heading chairmen and seats
of this corporate bureaucracy in the utmost time of crisis of the Sirius Sector...

Prologue:
After the disinegration of the most recent Board of Directors, as with its President. The PTMC seems to
be in ruin, down the ladder, but thankfully there was an emergency broadcast sent with the destruction of the
primary station in-orbit with Earth, before the destruction of the entire Sol System. It sent a message to this
'ladder' of capable employees and shook the ladder's chain to it's core. Once known as the most unknown
beruacracy in history shed its chain and was now known as the most rutheless, hell-bent trillion-dollar industry
at the time. Complexing and infiltrating the space around past the confines of Sol. So much that the artifical
intelligence that the Sirius Sector had hoped for, was absolutely nothing compared to the mining tech this
mega-corporation had invested in.

View:
When Post Terran overlooked Sirius as a viable option, for unkown reasons, they then concluded Tycho Brahe
was their next golden ticket to the depths of space. Their understanding and prerspective was the glue that binded
and drove them almost to the brink of insanity. Post Terran's investment with their secret proprietary tech only
codenamed " MatCen " was their first and last initative to ward off competition and defense of their self-
sustaining Fusion Core Mines that could go without end power for that particular substructure. Fully autonomous
and AI driven, the reactors where grated with plasma defense arrays for intruders. Added to the mixed if these
'intruders' somehow survived the AI workforce of the mine, the rest is history if one blew out. This was only half of
the infastructure that they had control of-- the other part was their robots, or their direct workforce were scatterd
among asteroids, wielding from industrial grade plasma drilling cannons up to military grade synaptic homing bomblets
that would explode in a confined area and explode with sub-bomblets to make a giant room. When the tools
-were- the weapons, no one would rival the system.

Actually, the world of Freelancer takes place around 3000 AD.

The "what if the Cold War turned hot but in spaaaaace" war dragged on for a minimum of 100 years. The Alliance got itself spread thin, and the Coalition was singing "Славься, Отечество наше свободное!" whilst waiting for their AE to drop down before peeps in other galaxies would form a coalition against them. The Alliiance was desperately pushing resources into buying time to GTFO from Sol, and they managed to make 5 7 Sleeper Ships (yes, I'm counting the Bulgarian one. Deal with it.)

At no point would anyone even possess the wherewithal to make the PTMC as it is now, unless in the far past, you're implying that someone in power was so greedy that they screwed over literal billions of people with an unspeakably large resource expenditure with no immediate return just to send some group of prospectors out to a very much uncertain future.

That's what I'm coming away with from reading it.
The Rules Declare Wrote:1.8 No ponies, furries, or direct imports are allowed
While this is a good idea for roleplay, importing the faction from Descent is in fact, not allowed by the rules. Therefore, to prevent the problem that we encountered last time the Post Terran Mining Corporation was brought up, this thread gets to be closed.
