This is a Gold System. Shogunate recognised claim over Honshu provides the clan Daimyo with an additional vote during Shogunate debates.
- Mechanical prowess.
Deep within the Hiryo nebula rests a small station with a population of 190, the majority which are engineers. Whether its fixing broken engines or repairing mechanical failures on vessels the dragons on Hikone can complete the repairs quickly, cheaply and to a high standard. Honshu’s ruling clan will not depend on Mito Shipyards to complete repairs to snubs, gunboats or even moored cruisers.

The Golden Chrysanthemum’s sometimes use the base as a waystation on their Cardamine smuggling route, a practise the Blood Dragons only begrudgingly allow on the condition that no Cardamine is traded on the station itself. The ruling clan may choose to tax the Golden Chrysanthemums smuggling activity in exchange for lighter restrictions but this will open the clan up to the risk of having their own pilots exposed to the drug.
