History

Originally, the Nesho'en clan was a large colony residing within an advanced colossus carrier going under the name "Kyodaina Hono", a massive movable star city drifting around the very edges of Tohoku. Its original designer, unknown to anyone but a generation after generation of clan leaders.

Housing a very large amount of people serving under a militaristic government-like leadership, the Nesho'en made their fair share of resource income partnering with Kusari as a paramilitary for hire.

The Nesho'en warrior pilots of the time rivaled even the Naval elite, which was bound to cause envy in others especially within the upper ladder of their ranking. Due to the massive fuel consumption by the Kyodaina's fusion engines, the titan only moved every three months for a large scale Republic organized supply run. And having so many enemies within the same institution the Nesho'en called their closest allies, such an opportunity was bound to be exploited to bring their downfall.

On the faithful year of 819 AS, a few Naval admirals who's names were not recorded, went behind the Republics back, mobilizing a capital fleet to set up at the usual meeting point for the supply transports. Instead of warm greetings, the Kyodaina Hono was welcomed by mortar shells and primary fire. The colossus went down, along with what they thought was the entirety of the Nesho'en bloodline. But minutes before the Titan's shields finally dropped and its large components began to be torn apart by overwhelming fire, Daimyo Tsubasa Nesho'en evacuated his daughter using the escape pod located underneath the clan leaders chambers. Her name was Shana Nesho'en.

Three days later, which was the amount of time it took for the carrier to completely blow up and erase itself from history, every single record of the Nesho'ens existence has been wiped or filed as classified. The relatively reserved and mysterious warriors not well known to the Republic they helped protect in the first place have been scratched over almost as if they never existed, and the clan name was lost to history, with only a single living testament remaining in the form of the final Daimyos daughter.

No matter her fathers' desperate attempt, the Naval Forces managed to find the escape pod drifting amidst the few large chunks of debris which remained not wiped by the reactors apocalyptic explosion. Instead of executing Shana to finally put a full stop to the Red Dragon's story, they locked her up in an unknown Naval research institute somewhere in the far corners of Kyushu, letting a little flame of hope remain glowing.

The reason why even the ones which sparked the whole short-lasted conflict wanted to keep such a large testament of the Nesho'en around was the clan specific microgenetic nanite implants which they practiced on their pilots and soldiers, ever since the clan was first formed by the original warrior council. Together with the titan carrier, the "Essence of Dragon" was riddled with mysteries, and they wanted to get to the bottom of it.

The sort of nano-augmentation the Nesho'en had developed was something that was rare even amongst some of the most advanced and secretive technology groups across Sirius. The person carrying the "Essence of Dragon" had heightened reaction times, very sharp senses, and an incredibly sturdy skeleton structure which was always protected by a thin layer of worker nanos. Mixed together with self-regenerative abilities which can make a small cut disappear in a matter of hours, even the most advanced augmented condition soldiers would have a hard time keeping up in hand to hand combat.

Noone really knows how long Shana spent there being constantly needled, cut and beaten in order to test the limits of her clans technology, but eventually the lead researcher in charge of her would push too far, having his men attempt to test the time necessary to heal a wound lethal to your average human being, allowing the emergency "survival instinct" embedded in the nanites code to kick in, allowing the girl to escape the chopping block and pull through the facilities relatively spread out security.

Managing to steal an outdated Naval "Drake" light fighter, she began her journey to nowhere, drifting through Kyushu as the old vessels systems failed with each passing second. To her luck, a Blood Dragon patrol caught sight of her distress beacon in the form of a burning engine, and she was retrieved a mere hour before the emergency oxygen tank would run out, leading to a very horrific death.

Landing herself at Kyoto, she would be unable to recall anything that happened before her blurry memory of a rampaging escape, now known only as subject number 358666, Shana Nesho'en, a tortured victim of Naval cruelty saved by the Dragons welcoming heart. That is where her career would begin.

Nesho'en and the Blood Dragons

Having received a heavenly intervention and given a chance to start her life anew without any horrible memories of the past, Shana began her exploits within the Blood Dragon ranks under the rule of Shogun Kohaku Hokama. Even though having no memory of any previous training, she soon discovered her incredible affinity for close quarter combat, armed or unarmed. And being an easy learner when it came to piloting, combined with her above average reflexes and coordination, the girl plowed her way through the lower ranks.

At some point a new ruling hand would grace the Shoguns robe, and it wouldn't take long for the new leadership to take note of her devotion and (even though sloppy) efficiency, propelling her up straight to the flat middle of the ranking ladder. With that new found motivation, Shana began to partake in more and more patrols and skirmishes with the Naval Forces by the day, her fearless fighting style and noticeable piloting skills sounding through Kyoto as the Nesho'en started to grow more popular and gain meaning, attracting people willing to follow her footsteps and become fearless warrior pilots and take Shana as their role model.

Through a snowball effect, her following grew bigger and bigger, and a new Nesho'en clan was born right there on Kyoto, opening up the door for Shana to become a fully fledged daimyo as a clan leader, commissioning the "Kagutsuchi" class cruiser to be the very first flagship of the Nesho'en, though soon replaced by the far more majestic and powerful "Togo" class battleship, the Taiho-no-Mikoto.

For the following months, the Nesho'en continued to expand becoming one of the most feared clans on Kyoto due to their head first approach, and tendency to not shy away from bringing in outsiders to the cause, even going as far as to incorporate non-Kusarian mercenaries into their meat count, as well as adding numerous vessels to the clan capital fleet such as the twin "Hachiman" class gunboats Shiomi and Ketsueki better know as "The Bleeding Mountain" duo, a recon "Hathor" class Order gunboat Jinsoku, and a repaired and refitted Series Z "Montante" anti-small craft gunship the Akaishi.

Though as life treats everyone, things can never go as well as you'd expect them to, and after serving as the Shoguns right hand for so long, dire times would follow for both the clan, and the Blood Dragons themselves. The Shogun's robe got thrown around several times, never sticking to one person for long enough to matter, at least in Shanas eyes. The Dragons became more passive and reserved, their presence around the Republic dropping drastically, especially compared to the happenings only a few months old at the time such as Tomoika.

The clan grew more and more distant to the Shogunate, to the point where its bloodthirsty warrior pilots would start departing from Kyoto their own accord to travel around the nearby Taus, including the leader herself, in search for more opportunities for the clan while taking up mercenary work where it mattered along the way, though never going ghost for long enough to catch up on any attention not wanting to risk the clans reputation and stature. Though even those little adventures would slowly become a less frequent custom, until the Red Dragon of the Nesho'en finally went into hibernation.

Current Times

With the state the current Shogunate got itself into, the clan has finally awoken again, determined to start making their mark in Dragon history and regain its former glory.

The Taiho-no-Mikoto once again breathing fresh particles of Chugoku has been mobilized to act as the Nesho'en flagship once more. Being the heaviest vessel they can offer, the Taiho will be pushed into battle often in the future.

Along with Shiroumas mobilization, the Bloodhounds of Mount Shirouma have been formed. It is a wing of the Nesho'ens most experienced, fearless and loyal warrior pilots, guarding the mobile outpost and using it to stage daring attacks on the clans enemies, while also holding a small recruitment office for mercenaries willing to pledge themselves to a cause.

The four gunboats have been put to maintenance, and are now sitting on stand-by at Mito Shipyards.

The Dragon spreads his jaw open, breathing out the red Nesho'en flames ready to bring all enemies of the Blood Dragons to their demise, while perhaps stealing the Shogun's robe for Shana along the way.

Philosophy of Sort

"Honor is gained through demonstration of capability, fearlessness, and loyalty towards the clan."

"One should put the clan as their first priority, the Dragons as their second. If the clan should come to be exiled, you will rebel with us, you will fight with us, you will kill your former so called brethren as you only serve as a claw of the Nesho'en and the Nesho'en only."

"A warrior of the clan should be ready to forfeit his life if the need arises."

"A Nesho'en can only die a peaceful death with old age, or a glorious one through battle, so no life is given in vain. A Nesho'en should keep its head high and spirit up, even when flying into certain demise, knowing that their soul will pass on as one of a fighter of principle holding tight to his beliefs."

Goals

Primary:
-Overthrowing the current shogunate and instating the Nesho'en as the new ruling hand of the Blood Dragons.

Secondary:
-Launching daring attacks against the Naval Forces all over the Republic of Kusari using the Bloodhounds of Mount Shirouma in order to demonstrate power and give them a reason to fear the Blood Dragons once more.
-Expanding options of alliance for the Blood Dragons and removing who they deem unnecessary from the so called partner list.

Tertiary:
-Expansion into other branches of business behind the Shogunates back in order to provide more income and resources for the clan, such could be but are not limited to mercenary work, moderately armed convoy smuggling and private blockade running.
-Gathering clan followers and supporters.

Ranking Structure

The Dragons Head

-The leader of the clan. Even though she consults the two wings regarding every major decision, and of course discusses them with the pair, her word is final and absolute.

The Dragons Wings

-Coming in a pair, the two wings are there to bring in opinions from other perspectives, as well as to consult the rest of the clan and convey their words and wishes to the Head.

The Dragons Tail

-Even though not as major as the two Wings, the tail is equally important. In charge of handling outsider recruits, relations with groups not well connected to the Shogunate, and under the table deals regarding other services the clan can offer.

Bloodhounds of Mount Shirouma

-The best of the best the Nesho'en can offer in regards of their pilots. They are the Claws being assigned to some of the most daring and dangerous tasks.

Claw

-Rest of the fully fledged clan members.

Hatchling

-Recently recruited Dragon, yet to prove itself worthy of the Nesho'en.

Serpent

-Recently recruited outsider, has to prove loyalty before being granted an official position within the clan.

Let's see how far they are going to get. Good luck.

Appreciated.

Added rep bellow the main post. Take note that besides being based only on existing player factions, its not gravitating towards the main part of the Blood Dragons, rather towards the clans/clan leaders own opinions (inRP ofc). I'm open for suggestions and feel free to point out if I missed something.

I'm working on the message dump/reporting channel and asset management atm. Recruitment might come online now, or when I'm able to properly play the game so I can organize raids and logging. (Can only do powertradeing with a trackpad lol.)
Hey! Love the clan write up!
I have noticed that you have added GMG- but not MGM| to your friendly list, any reason for that?

I head up BD| please get in touch on discord:

Before the clan went into "sleep" or however I should call it, the only Gas Miners they knew were the ones lead by Keiji Namura. GMG- is lead by the same person thus GMG| is missing from the list, though will list it under Unknown for clarity sake. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll throw you a friend request on Discord.
A surprise to see you bring this back. A nice surprise though. Welcome back around mate.
